Speaker 1: Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, beautiful wonderful mixologists out there. It is your girl Money and you are in the mix with Money and Kendrick Tucker of I cannot and I'm so excited. You know, I love when Kendrick comes by. Y'all love when Kendrick comes by. Kendrick loves when Kendrick comes by. I'm speaking when we know we gotta get together sometimes when there's too much going on.
Speaker 2: It's only but like, but who will you call? Who can you call?
Speaker 1: And you can call on Money and Kendrick to get it done, get you through the hot topics of the week and whatever else is going on in the reality TV guys, it's a lot happening. How are we feeling right now, Kendrick, How are you doing? How is your TV watching going right now?
Speaker 2: Oh? My god?
Speaker 3: TV watching is amazing for me. You're industry watcher.
Speaker 4: So you know, that was one of the best finales in like recent TV like it was a lot going on in the Baley, like we.
Speaker 1: Got damns at Yeah, a lot of reviews about Yes Honey Season two was nothing to play with.
Speaker 4: Listen, the girls did what they needed to do, So I'm happy about that. I'm loving the penguin. You know, I'm getting caught up on all my Zoos stuff. I'm fully caught up on Batties ready for the reunion. I got to watch the auditions. Jocelyn is a whole food and a half like she usually is, and I'm just enjoying it.
Speaker 2: Bravo.
Speaker 4: Listen, Bravo. I was begging them for stuff I wanted to watch just a couple of months ago. And now they are feeding the children like they are shoving down our throats, okay, and now.
Speaker 1: They are over serving well, I feel like I am that personally at the bar with the last call, like, yeah, I can't sit up straight because it's just like every day of the week, it seems like we are headed into some very interesting times. I mean, it's definitely we were once looking for Bravo to be giving us just a little bit of something more than OC. You know, we just needed something, okay, And now we got Potonac coming back this upcoming Sunday, October the sixth. He had Tony that just premiered last night, or to this Tuesday, October the first Salt Lake City is currently on, OCA is currently on, and Beverly Hills is coming soon.
Speaker 1: They just announced that Beverly Hills is coming soon.
Speaker 2: Honey.
Speaker 1: That's how you know it's gonna be a good season. They ain't even get me the timeframe or nothing. They just said, keep watch right now.
Speaker 4: Can we like, okay, let me just put it in a request like I'm not gonna lie. The little what ten second teaser that they put out it was glamour Like I was into it.
Speaker 3: I was like, oh, the Beverly Hills girl, You're looking good. So I was. I was into that.
Speaker 4: But as a logical thinker, I need y'all to like, let Oc be fully gone, let Salt Lake City be on the way out, or New York on the.
Speaker 3: Way album for y'all bring in Beverly Hills.
Speaker 4: Because if I'm sitting up and I'm watching five housewives at one time, that's a bit much for me, not as a regular viewer, but if somebody that has to cover this shit, like please, thanks.
Speaker 1: Please think about your Bravo influencers, your podcasters. Please God I cannot talk about that, but he shows them one No, everybody's podcast episodes would be two point five hours, like I don't badly, I don't have it, And God, bless the recappers. At least we just talked shit. You know, we discuss an opinion in opine. My god, if you had to talk about it from start to finish, what happened? Oh no, I just I think I do think that they're you know, they're estimating November.
Speaker 2: Who knows, brother couldn't drop her tomorrow?
Speaker 3: Who knows?
Speaker 2: Remember January?
Speaker 1: But I think that they'll let OC finish because OC is so close to finish. I don't want the girlies to think that they will be in a lull, which we could never There's three other shows on right now, but they don't want us to be in a lull. And they're like, well, just you wait, but that's still four housewives exactly.
Speaker 4: And do we need two California Housewives airing at one time?
Speaker 3: I think not.
Speaker 4: So I think, yeah, let's let's let's make that. What do they call them when the presidents leave? A smooth transition of power? Let's do that, and I'll be okay with the California is doing what they need to do. You know, as a matter of fact, maybe Hot Take, why don't we say Beverly Hills for when Atlanta and one of the other girlises are getting ready to come back to Let's just have all the goodness in one good time.
Speaker 2: I actually think three at a time is a lot. Yes, Stable, we can handle that. We can remember to watch that.
Speaker 1: Even regular live viewers, they're not watching Five Housewives Live every week.
Speaker 2: They can't.
Speaker 1: Like we have shows to watch. Praise Anatomy is back, okay, Like there's faul TV. The writers are no longer on strike. They're righting the shows. Okay, Yes, we got to have network dramas to watch.
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, look you know I like the ones that are barely written and the ones that are written to the gods. Okay, I watched everything from from nine to one one to the the stuff on HBO. Okay, so I gotta give time to Petcock, to the Hulu to the the other places I got to go besides Brock gotta go.
Speaker 1: Love is Blind ZC just aired or the other night I gotta watch that.
Speaker 2: I gotta finish the circle.
Speaker 1: Like I am watching Netflix, I'm watching the house lots or reality TV content on like six different platforms.
Speaker 2: Yes, calm down.
Speaker 3: Right, like just for a little bit, okay, just I really.
Speaker 1: Wish that we could like spread it out a little bit better and not have full three month lolls and then three months of like over Jose.
Speaker 2: Of Housewives exactly. It.
Speaker 4: Let me be very clear though, whenever the Traders and whenever a couple of Throat will come back, I will be in attendance, top of mind.
Speaker 1: That's priory front, bro, And yes, that's exactly what will happen, because both those shows absolutely changed my life to wow.
Speaker 3: Me considered like wait a minute, maybe three is okay.
Speaker 1: I don't know you got it, but I mean that was that was a good show. I suggest y'all go watch that one. I don't want nobody, but that might be a episode. That stuff was really wild.
Speaker 3: You know what's hilarious to me?
Speaker 4: So I was just randomly like on my either for you page explore paye, like whatever, I just see somebody, I'm like, what do.
Speaker 3: I know you from?
Speaker 4: I know you from somewhere and I'm oh, you're from that three some on that show. Okay, that's all right now mind yep, yeah, one time episode.
Speaker 1: But I can't again to take my medication, but I can remember I seen this week kissing Hooms on the television.
Speaker 3: Listen.
Speaker 4: My alarm has to remind me every night and around nine thirty ten, okay, senceiling, go ahead and do that overnight, that long acting, go ahead and do it. I'm like, oh, Joe, I was watching the Housewives, but okay, let me get it.
Speaker 1: See my thing is my medication reminders go off, but if I haven't taken my ADHD medication, I will forget while looking at the alarm to take the medication, and then it'll be eleven thirty and I go, wow, I missed all of these. That's great, and that's you know, honestly, it's just I will say, you know, the girlies know that I am not teaching right now, but like, health wise, we've been going through something. So it's just a little bit more sporadic than I would have liked it to be. But it's nice to be able to catch up when I can on these shows.
Speaker 1: I just wish that I didn't have like a playlist of like eight so in order for me to talk. But I did catch New York the premiere, and I want to get some of your initial thoughts on Ronie this season. The trailer, I remember you saying on the internets it looked like it was giving. It looks it was offering it was it was it was. It was providing something that wasn't worth.
Speaker 3: You can borrow from it, but you got to give back later.
Speaker 2: Yeah, right, you can get a little something something.
Speaker 1: But it was not, you know, serving the girls the overwhelming day that we were expecting ahead of the premiere. But that being said, how do you feel that the premiere shapes up for this season versus the trailer gave us a sneak of what the season was going to be.
Speaker 3: Now let me okay, let me let me say one thing and then one thing. Okay.
Speaker 4: First of all, I always have trouble. I'm from Memphis, so I have trouble. Y'all have heard glowyal of talk. I have trouble pronouncing this word. Okay, So I.
Speaker 3: Put an asterisk asterisk.
Speaker 4: Okay, I put an asterisk by The trailer was funky because I actually think that Ronie, even with the old cast, has never put out a good trailer. To me, every time I used to watch, I'd be like, this is why, like why this choice, Like I'm not looking forward to this. But then the season you'd watch it be like, okay, I laughed the whole time. So that's the way so I think they in keeping with that tradition. Horrible trailer, but this first episode I thoroughly enjoyed because right it's the type of light Housewives ship that I personally crave.
Speaker 4: Like Housewives has become so like family ending, career ending that like you know, one scandal on the season will like rock somebody's world. It's like, oh my god, Like this is a lot, and I'm carrying your burden now, Like, no, I want to. I want to argue about who had the better Beyonce see tickets. I want to argue about pigeons or whatever, y'all.
Speaker 3: Yes, I want to argue.
Speaker 1: About whether or not my you know, this girl calling my husband Dory from finding Nemo exactly.
Speaker 2: Gosh, that's what I want.
Speaker 3: That did she lie?
Speaker 2: Did she?
Speaker 1: That was a premier choice of picture that I've seen going around to illustrate that point. Yes today, Yeah, wow, now that I haven't considered, but now I can confirmed but sense okay, points were made. Yeah, I mean wow, like off to a good start. I think that I agree with you. Ronie has never been strong in trailers because I think they're they're so direct, as you know, Housewives are so direct. They do not, you know, drag things on. Even this new cast, they're a lot more directs, a lot less passive aggressive than other shows where the New York culture upon tearing someone down, the New Yorker is just like, I'm gonna just text you right now.
Speaker 2: Your husband looks like a cartoon fish. We'll have luck. We'll talk tomorrow.
Speaker 1: Like it's just we move on the dramas ongoing, and you know, we just catch the strays that we catch and then we hope for the best.
Speaker 2: At the reunion recap all those straits.
Speaker 4: Jesse literally told us, she said, look, if I don't feel like being in some drama today, or I know I lied about some I'm just telling them people I got mommy brain I don't remember.
Speaker 3: I'm like, you know what, that's a choice. I like that. I like that. I'm not gonna be mad at you.
Speaker 2: I love that for her. I love blaming things on my brain FuG all the time.
Speaker 4: Right It's listen, we're living in a wave of COVID, So I feel like we use brave.
Speaker 1: Not to mention, like and you know, we like to keep it lighthearted, but y'all know the world is like ending over there.
Speaker 3: Yeah, is great.
Speaker 1: But I have two Instagram accounts right. One is an absolute overwhelmed the beauty and entertainment and glitz and glamorous girls and you know, drama with people that has nothing to do with me, that is very foot less. The other Instagram account is full of like darkness, despair and the current state of the world, and you just yeah, I'm gonna just go ahead and joggle back over to that other one because what I also know is that while I had to watch the presidential debate to be in a vice presidential debate to be performed voter.
Speaker 1: Lol, I put quotes in round back because I got all the information I needed a little while ago. Okay, I did not need any of these things to inform my vote. That's so, And I just want you to, you know, do some introspection if you did. But apart from that, it was really nice to be able to go and turn something else on that was like a little less despairing. Okay, to see the girlies, you know, going to lunch having I don't know whose alliance's hooms anymore, like, and then I'm watching all of my middle school in high school, you know, prom dress aspirations walk through the Scientology door onto the Rony set and wow, it's nice to be here where their problems are my problems, but they don't affect me.
Speaker 4: They asked them later, they said, what should we do if they asked us about scientologists?
Speaker 1: He said nothing, which is crazy because that seems to be all anyone is talking about when they.
Speaker 2: Interview right from this cast right, Like, I saw two.
Speaker 1: Articles today about like brand and someone else, like, what do you think about your new castmate being former or a part of her scientology past? I'm like, why y'all keep asking these these people that aren't in it about her being in it?
Speaker 2: Why don't you ask her about her being in it?
Speaker 3: Okay?
Speaker 2: Right, well now why am I in it? Why are you in it?
Speaker 1: Can you write how we went from scientology to Ronnie?
Speaker 2: And does Tom cruise?
Speaker 3: No?
Speaker 1: Have you said wife the lea remedy has been looking for for like fifteen years?
Speaker 2: Do you have information? And I have a lot of questions. Were you kidnapped allegedly or were you like did you walk in the door on your own volition?
Speaker 3: Right? How did you do on the test?
Speaker 2: Like I know y'all got to pass.
Speaker 1: Have you gotten close to enlightenment or do you still have about thirteen more courses to go?
Speaker 2: How many? Right?
Speaker 3: That's how much?
Speaker 1: Because we know y'all got it, like y'all got good. You know I love a new house what that has?
Speaker 3: Yes?
Speaker 4: Oh?
Speaker 2: Yes, okay, yes? What was a standout moment for you this first episode?
Speaker 3: You know what? I like the bad game of telephone? I really do.
Speaker 4: That's what I always enjoy about Housewives because I think that's so relatable as a watcher, because you tell somebody one thing and then like three, like literally a couple of days later, you confronted by somebody you like, I didn't say none of that, Like, what are you talking about exactly?
Speaker 3: Look what do you talk?
Speaker 4: I feel like Brian is setting herself up to be the big bad and I'm okay with that because you are a You're not a new show, but you're a new show, so you need to like give us reasons to tune in, give us things to like put our nails into. And I think all of this is leading up to a season finale where most of us I don't know. I don't know because I know some people are down the hill of like nope, brands, right, brands right, But I think Brand is kind of setting herself up to go against Uber in this finale.
Speaker 4: But most of us and probably most the other housewives are gonna be like, Okay, you've been lying all season. So I think I'm gonna go with Uba on this one, and I think Brand might alienate herself. But then Nugger went off the show because I mean, she's doing what she needs to do.
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and she's providing the spoon. The pie is stirring all tests, whether it's true or not. You know, I not to mention. I mean, do you think someone is funding her lifestyle?
Speaker 2: Listen at the grammar.
Speaker 4: I know our our mutual love Emily of the Brable on Botos podcast, you know, listen, Ever since she made that joke, you know, Brand spiraled, She went on a little tangent, you know, all these kinds of things. And my thing is, what do they say about those hit dogs?
Speaker 2: You know?
Speaker 4: Yes, okay, you know, so I don't I don't want to say she has one, because I'm sure she has like a very respectable business. And you know, she always talked about her cover letter and her my resume is ten pages long. I don't know who's reading that, but you know she has a ten page Okay, like that's great.
Speaker 2: But ten pages loan.
Speaker 1: That actually further assures me you don't have a job exactly, because everybody who is applying to things know that one the job market is crazy to the competition is fierce and freaking it's not one.
Speaker 4: Page, okay them honestly, you better be stacked, like.
Speaker 1: Let me tell you all the reasons why I'm the best for this position, and they better not have nobody else to look at, because my mama grew you know, was in HR for like thirty something years, and she's like, no. One thing I know is that I don't have time to read everybody's biography on why I'm literally trying to find the best person for this job, not a person in the world for any job. Company, No, girl, we got things to do. I got my own job to do. If iarn with ten pages, howma do your job?
Speaker 2: Am mine?
Speaker 3: Let me tell you something.
Speaker 4: The real girlies out there in corporate America, y'all already know when you do those little because you know most of the resumes. You gotta upload your resume, but then you gotta go through the questionnaire. Okay, you get get that questionnaire. You the real girlies, y'all know if you don't answer, if you got to look at the job posting and do the questionnaire. If it says we want five to ten years of this experience, when it asked you how many years of experience do you have, you better put at least five to ten so that they will your resume won't even go through if you don't have those correct answers selected, so they not even gonna look at it.
Speaker 4: So them ten pages might be going to the recycling band.
Speaker 3: Yeah, we know, and you.
Speaker 1: Know that if you were submitting all ten pages to indeed, they would have told you it's too much. Girls from this building on the n d APP and just go from there like you don't need all that. Kim zosiak Berman was a whole nurse. She had a resume at one point, and Big Papa still helped her do what.
Speaker 2: She needed to do. We're not judging your seed money, honey.
Speaker 1: I'm sure you have real businesses, legitimate right because you gotta pay taxes. I understand you're not in jail, so somebody's money is going to somewhere. You know, Uncle Sam's getting his I just want to know how Brin is getting hers.
Speaker 2: That's it. That's it. Yeah, and there's no judgment your gorgeous use it.
Speaker 3: Please, I'm not mad.
Speaker 5: Now.
Speaker 1: If you were, you know, not a cute girling you added, you know, a good little sugar situation allegedly, I'd be like, now, can you teach us your ways?
Speaker 2: That's really the.
Speaker 3: Question, that's the book. I won't. That's but a.
Speaker 1: Pretty girl having somebody who wants to sponsor her being pretty and having a nice life. I'm never gonna be mad at. That sounds like a lovely opportunity for me. You go forth and have that start jealous with somebody else's money. The bank loans are high, the aprs high, Okay, okay, interest a crew a cruel Okay.
Speaker 4: Now let me tell you something, Marlohampton, her her subject verb is never an agreement. But she got a whole townhouse out of that man in her name. So let's be clear, okay.
Speaker 2: And so it can do that.
Speaker 1: Yes, and it'll be interesting to see how you know her and Uber. My friend was watching and she was like next. Last year those two were her favorites and to see them this year, you know, be at such opposite ends and.
Speaker 2: Right kind of not know who we're gonna pick.
Speaker 1: Who's Cyber gonna be on this like a whole split situation. I think that Breen's gonna be confronted with some things for some reasons, to take some low blows, and we will be on a.
Speaker 2: High from watching those things go down. I love it, you know. Okay, I'm in New York.
Speaker 3: Let's i'm here.
Speaker 2: It's not all my favorite girlies.
Speaker 1: You know, we have new girlies and we have to keep riding this wave of like what will New York look like? I'm real glad Jena Lions came back, but it's it's gonna look different, it's gonna feel different.
Speaker 2: But I think come in.
Speaker 4: Can I ask you a question? It's related, but unrelated because I don't think we have our agenda. But I want to ask really quickly, did you watch the quick little preview that they dropped the Potonema? Because that season premiere is this week too. I listen.
Speaker 3: I love a true crime.
Speaker 4: Opening, okay, because you know, the easiest way to hook me in is to right exact who done it.
Speaker 3: I'm in, I'm here, so I'm out Menendez.
Speaker 2: I love as Onion like I do.
Speaker 3: Yes, we were always there.
Speaker 4: What tickled me because Gisel being messy and Karen leaning in to her being messy. When I tell you, that still remains one of the funniest dynamics on TV to me because when Jaselle asked her, she you know, Karen can't drive right now, so Jazelle would have picked her up for lunch, so she would have picked her up and gotten their car. You know, Ray waved them off. They left, and she's driving down the street. Jasel's messy. I'm sorry, y'all can never make me hate that lady. Jasel's messy ass said, now do you not want me to go down this street?
Speaker 4: Is it too painful of a memory for you? And Karen sat there in the seat just staring at her for a minute, but Karen wouldn't give it to a Karen said, I prefer you didn't.
Speaker 3: I said, you know what, there's some ship. This is some ship here, please, I said, Sunday, please hearry up. This is a bullishit And I can't.
Speaker 2: Wait and not wait for my girls to be back.
Speaker 2: Those women.
Speaker 1: I love them on a deep cellular level. Like in my DNA you will find cherry blossoms with the Housewives of Potomac only I'm very sad.
Speaker 2: I mean that I did also see the teaser.
Speaker 1: I'm very ready. I'm so ready it hurts, like, just send the screener. I will watch it again and again and again.
Speaker 2: Just it.
Speaker 1: Just I love those women. You can never let me make me hate Giselle. I know she's terrible, I know she's sorry.
Speaker 2: I can't do.
Speaker 1: It the same way I never could hate Candice. I was like, sometimes points are made and you don't want you're made, but the points are the points. I don't know what, and shout out to Cannis for choosing my hood over.
Speaker 2: Drama they need. I was worried. I don't know. I know I shouldn't be, but I was worried. I was like, what are we gonna do without our drama and our sleepy girl?
Speaker 1: Like, what are we gonna And to see Karen say that she misses them, I was a little concerned. But I like that the humor, the levity, and the like miss on outfits are going to keep us, yes, entertained.
Speaker 2: Those girls can never not be mad at each other. It'll be great.
Speaker 4: Bravo seems to be moving back into a direction of you know, what they used to really enjoy these shows when they were fun and drama was organic, and I feel like they're trying to get back to that with all the shows.
Speaker 3: And I thoroughly appreciate that.
Speaker 4: Dubai Season two was a highlight for me this year, Like I know what was the most dramatic for people like starting off and stuff, but it was a highlight for me because it felt like old school housewives and that's what I've been like.
Speaker 3: Longing for, like I needed that.
Speaker 4: And Caroline Brooks is just the villain of all villains that I just love to watch. And when I say she is one of the messiest people on Bravos, she is like staging you listen, you gotta go back to third grade to say you want me to call on three way and don't say no, girl, mute your phone.
Speaker 3: Don't.
Speaker 4: I'm like, you know what, I Liveliah. She looks like say Michelle.
Speaker 3: Though, so so we should have expected this level of mess from her.
Speaker 2: Like did you start sixty seventy two girls?
Speaker 3: Right? Exactly?
Speaker 2: I love it. I love it, absolutely love it.
Speaker 1: And so speaking of we got the RhB rh OBH announcement, we have that announcement. You know, it's hard living in times like these were real the only people who can do our jobs and talk about these things, and you know what, the world the way it is and TV the way it is.
Speaker 2: It really brought me some joy that, even in the midst of the.
Speaker 1: Alleged dementia allegations that Wendy Williams.
Speaker 2: You know, the popular phenom, the phenom that she wants.
Speaker 1: You're right, it wrote you joy to see that she said some words this week. But she may may not remember much about what's going on allegedly, but she did say it's about time that that man Puffy got him self arrested. And I said, now, she can't remember anything but that we are in for with these anew one hundred and twenty lawsuits that that charge. And he said, and I'm bringing down everybody with me.
Speaker 2: I said, who, all right, let me.
Speaker 4: Tell you something. And I'm just thinking of this and I'm trying not to laugh. But Wendy Williams, one thing about her in the current state that she's in, she always remembers when a man ain't shit okay, Because I remember when that clip dropped months ago before the documentary came out. Black China had went to visit her. Sorry, Angela White had went to visit her, right, you know, they were on the couch talking and you know, angel was asked her how she was doing stuff, and Wendy said, you know, you know, she's like, you know, my last name is Hunter, right, And you know, Andrew was like, yeah, I know.
Speaker 4: She's like yeah, you know my husband Kevin, you know, he ain't got no money. And I was like, you know how, Like the comments in that section were going crazy because it was like for somebody with dementia to still remember that you broke his heir, there's some cold shit.
Speaker 3: And for her to come.
Speaker 4: Out this week and say that Puffy ain't shit while battling Alzheimer's, Like what she's battling?
Speaker 2: Yeah, listen.
Speaker 3: That goes to show you these men ain't shit.
Speaker 2: No, ain't shit.
Speaker 1: She has her like a conservati She has like a conservatorship, like she feels like she was taking advantage of with the Lifetime movie or documentary. That was really sad to see because I didn't even like the way that whole thing panned out on TV. That's very skeasy to watch. So for her to be like dealing with all that she's dealing with. You're absolutely right and be like, hey, guess what Ben called that one? Okay, it's a lot of time the timer had been up on that. Very shocked, not surprised that many people knew.
Speaker 1: And uh, you know, Hollywood has always been on some freaky ship. But like, my god, we really need I need to take a hard look at W've been allowing to transcend because I have to. I can't keep getting rid of all of my music and taste, and I can't. I'm really tired, and I will continue, but I'd like to not because.
Speaker 3: Let me tell you something.
Speaker 4: That Diddy Dirty Money album has always been okay, And I'm very upset right now.
Speaker 1: I've always said, and that makes me even sadder because you know, I go up.
Speaker 2: For some dawn. I love me something to hear her.
Speaker 1: You know, her truth is really sad. But I've always said that while everybody else's favorite Nicki Minaj versus Monster, mine has always been Hello, good morning.
Speaker 2: I was like, oh, that's it, that's that's the one.
Speaker 1: Like, okay, it's my favorite reverse of Nicki Minaj's of all time. So now that I'm glad, I remember the lyrics so I can sing it on my own because I can't play it, but disgusted, right, no justice for my girl cast Ye, I knew she could have had a good cause. And that's that on that. I always knew that. So yeah, all right, Peter Diddy's career and reputation. Let that man write under the prison, Wendy said, so please, okay, Next thing, the Salt Lake City taglines just dropped because you know, we always get a couple of episodes without them, and they dropped in there's some resemblance of some previous Housewives.
Speaker 1: I did ratings, and I did not know this, but I rate the Housewives tag lines all the time. I rated the taglines through the Salt Lake City.
Speaker 2: I gave Whitney.
Speaker 1: Rose a like a high high rating because I really liked her tagline. And Kendrick is the one who informed me. Promptly responded, you know why you like it?
Speaker 2: Because who was it?
Speaker 5: Is it?
Speaker 2: Kendrick? Why? Yep?
Speaker 1: And she is she is the original, She is the greatest, She is the That makes so much sense as to why I liked it. For those Whitney Roses. Salt Lake City tagline was on my healing journey. I still travel first class and apparently Ninny Leaks's was years ago journey and I still travel first class.
Speaker 3: Yep, almost bar for.
Speaker 1: Bar, aside from a couple of prepositions in the wrong.
Speaker 1: But yeah, well disappointed in that. I don't know why somebody didn't clock that right.
Speaker 2: Don't love it?
Speaker 4: Don't love it, you know, I don't like to feel like me as the viewer knows more than a producers and editors and stuff over the Okay, let me do your job at that point.
Speaker 1: Because I don't why y'all hiring these new young folks that don't write their history. Okay, okay, don't hire a twenty one year old who is like ready and excited and got the degree. Hires somebody who has done the work, who has seen every single Now that's your ten page resumes right there. Every Housewife you know, premiere in full season, know all the taglines and will make sure that no one wears the same couple outfits, no themes, o, the unions are repeated, and no taglines are the same, even years later.
Speaker 4: Exactly, I was able to clock that that easily, like immediately hearing it.
Speaker 3: I know half of the problems verse must have clocked.
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I've seen plenty since you said that.
Speaker 1: I've seen nothing but memes regarding it, a lot of side by side and that's disappointing because I love Whitney.
Speaker 2: I don't even think she knew that. And that's the that's the problem. That's the issue.
Speaker 1: That's the problem, right, that's the issue with someone like that's a little too close because normally the taglines have to go through producers anyway, they you know, you know, if it's good or not in the nature, yes, they change things.
Speaker 2: Is it needed? What y'all think?
Speaker 1: The people who watch so they don't didn't watch Lanta. First of all, everybody watched Atlanta but the right, So that's a fact. And secondly, we're multi cultural, we're diverse.
Speaker 2: We love it all.
Speaker 1: We want to see white girls in Utah bi semi Mormons sometimes not, and we want to see the girls in Atlanta, you know, get get buck with each other every once.
Speaker 2: In a while.
Speaker 1: Now, that's also an announcement that I am curious to see when we're gonna get that because they've been done filming, right.
Speaker 4: I just want to see what the cast Fortal looks like, who was included in it. That's really what I'm I'm just nosy.
Speaker 1: Like who are I'm nosy too, But I just don't I'm nervous that we'll get something it'll be like that. I'm nervous it won't be good. I really am. And I'm nervous that they will think it's not good and not put it out. And we've had a little to me Atlanta seasons flop then I would have ever liked to have experienced in my lifetime, because they.
Speaker 3: Went bar for bar from like what one through eleven and it was just like, oh, what were we doing?
Speaker 1: Like I mean, once upon a time, these girlies were on a Sunday night clocking more than football, okay, right, four to five million viewers sometimes on a Sunday night live we direct TV, like during TVO days, right, And so for us now to be a little under a million, it.
Speaker 2: Makes me nervous.
Speaker 1: And I don't want the same thing to happen to Atlanta where Phader's back, and it just wasn't enough the same way that we're not going to get that ultimate Girls Trip season with all those girlies.
Speaker 4: Let me tell you my so, I see this playing out one of three ways. Okay, the first way we get that cast for on the trailer and both Kenya and Fade drawing that main photo, meaning that Kenya's gonna help carry the first half. Then she got dropped or whatever. Then Fader comes in and helps carry the second half. So I'm like, Okay, that's good. I see one where Kenya has been excluded altogether, and I hate that option, but I definitely can see that happening, and then maybe in there maybe not or she comes in and that that's when we get maybe that uh what that five housewife weird thing like we had during COVID.
Speaker 4: Hate that, don't want that, or maybe the Okay, well, I'm gonna say maybe the worst option because I do want her back, but I feel like Cynthia filmed so much they might end up just bumping her up the full time, and so she'll be the six housewife at that point.
Speaker 1: I think that makes the most sense, and I think that will see the season and it'll be nice enough for us to see the earliest that we love back that it'll matter to us if you know, some people aren't there. But like, also, Nini is apparently in debt and needs a job, so why don't we give.
Speaker 2: Her a call?
Speaker 3: Right?
Speaker 1: Like we should have done about two three years ago and brry this hatchet.
Speaker 2: Let's do that.
Speaker 4: Yeah, let's let's get let's do that because we know she just did something for Eve with Arianna Maddox, so like she's back in the NBC's good graces.
Speaker 2: So like, let's say, let's make the call lawsuit.
Speaker 1: No, so why don't you settle with her out of court for her job back in twenty five thousand dollars so that they don't have her bank account for her previous swag boutique that she has unpaid rent for that. She said her dead husband signed the least, so that's why it's not her problem. I said, Actually, that's literally not how marriage works, asked Taylor Armstrong. When Russell out and like he's pieced out on the count wait that her. She was like, girl, he did that on purpose because he left everything.
Speaker 2: They're all like, it's you then.
Speaker 1: Girl, right, But there it is, so Nini, that's not how marriage and money works. But make her a nice generous offer, will pay that debt. You dropped the lawsuit. Your back on Atlanta. We have a nice life together and I think we'll be okay.
Speaker 3: Can you imagine too?
Speaker 4: Because we think about the dynamic that we can have on the not on this upcoming season, but on the next season. She worked to return for that her and Porsche are fighting like cats and dogs right now. That would mean that she has to make a choice, like, okay, am I about to go over here and be cool with Cynthia. Am I about to go over here and be cool with Kenya if she comes back? Because I don't I don't think Kenya's firing is permanent. I think they might have to. They probably try to humble her or son her this season because they won't break the fil a lawsuit.
Speaker 3: I think she'll be back full time at some point.
Speaker 4: But I don't know. Ninia have to like make some real decision. She'd be like, okay, well I'm to go over there and play with Phase. You know what I did love her in Athens.
Speaker 1: Link up is she in Phaser can be to go between between her and Porsche. So maybe like the next moon or so, they might have like a reconciliation and then we have a nice little situation.
Speaker 2: Okay.
Speaker 1: I think it's I think that we should invest some time and energy into righting our wrongs, because you can't get rid of all these staple members of these Housewives franchises and not and expect people to buy in on new people when there are when you're already adding new people into getting rid of old people, it kind of needs to be right. We're already getting all new Jersey, like, we're already doing too many overhauls that It's like, if you're gonna bring back Phadrian, you can make that, right, you can bring bag Needi.
Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, absolutely.
Speaker 1: So more on that. I you know, we'll keep that. We'll keep you updated on that one. Brandy Glanville's case got dropped as I.
Speaker 2: Was just mentioning by her lawyers.
Speaker 1: They once said that she according to her that she had a strong case and was promised tons of money and all these things, and now they don't think it's winnable and they have dropped it and her. Yeah, more on that at eleven.
Speaker 2: What does that mean?
Speaker 1: Because we already haven't gotten the Ultimate Girls Trip season with all the other girlies. It was Brandy, it was Caroline Manzo, it was who else? I already said, Brandy, Caroline. That's all I can think about because I never yes, Alex, Yeah, I just never expected those two to get into it and have such a visceral situation, So why can't we just take out that scene or whatever and let's just put it out there on TV.
Speaker 2: For the world.
Speaker 4: Yeah, one of them, you know, listen, you know, Bravo love disclaimer, just put at the end of the last episode something transpired between Brandy and Carolina for legal reasons, we won't go into it.
Speaker 3: Okay, bye, and then season like that's.
Speaker 1: It because it wasn't lit. So I want to know what's happening other than that and up until.
Speaker 2: That, okay, and that's just fun.
Speaker 1: But I hope that, you know, I don't know if Briand's gonna continue trying to sue a lot of this is bad.
Speaker 2: We to be suing Bravo. Maybe Mimi will drop her lawsuit.
Speaker 1: I think Leah also is uh, you know, suing Bravo right now.
Speaker 2: There's been some movement on that case. So it's interesting.
Speaker 1: Brother's gonna need a lot of the girl last to come back and you know, do their job or the girlies that are there, to keep their jobs up so they can pay all these bills. It's important that y'all do your job so we can keep our network Aflow.
Speaker 4: I mean it mm hmmm, right, So what do you Brandy made a claim that she thinks the lawyers were paid off.
Speaker 3: What he did.
Speaker 2: She didn't make that claim.
Speaker 3: What do you think of this claim?
Speaker 2: Because I think.
Speaker 1: Of the people I think have more money, I think NBC Universal has more money than Brandy Glanville. And it is probably cheaper to silence her than settle with her, because settling means some admission of fault or guilt, and buying off allegedly if that's what they did, means that you just go away right, takes the case and we can just move on.
Speaker 2: And from a business perspective, I ain't mad at it.
Speaker 1: If I was in a private legal department, I'll be like, we could either write her a big check, or we can tell these lawyers if they ever want to work with us or whatever, a thank you.
Speaker 2: What do you like to do?
Speaker 3: And that that sounds like the cheaper option to me.
Speaker 2: So it's so much cheaper. It's cheaper to not keeper exactly one day.
Speaker 1: Okay, oh my god, Kendrick, it has been so much fun talking about the hot topic. The world is ending, but we're having a nice time our way through the little guy, you know the different Roku streaming apps. What else are you watching and enjoying when we are not, you know, being fed to our brink by the Bravos.
Speaker 4: First, I feel like industry is gone. That was gonna leave a big hole in my heart. But Penguin, I'm really enjoying HBO. It's it's amazing. If you all love the Batman or if you haven't seen.
Speaker 1: Second favorite villain, Okay, there you go.
Speaker 2: Gott to pick them DC and Marvel got I got different villains right, and I'm going.
Speaker 1: As DC for the first time for Halloween. I've always and marveled, so now I'm.
Speaker 2: Going, Oh, okay, yeah, I love that for you.
Speaker 1: Yeah, Dr Maya is going to be the Joker and I'm gonna be Harley Quinn. I wanted to be Harley Quinn for about, like, I don't know, ten years.
Speaker 3: You know that's right.
Speaker 2: I know that's right about that.
Speaker 1: I did want to ask you, I hate but how do you feel about Lady Gaga playing Harley Quinn?
Speaker 4: You know she's a great actress. I had issues with it those first and now I have major issues with it because I think that it's hard to follow up Margot Robbie because Margot Robbie was Harley Quinn like that was her role and.
Speaker 3: Hers and pray.
Speaker 4: In my opinion, I will argue with all of the Internet in sales about this all day, every day. I think Birds of Prey was one of the most underrated comic book movies of all time.
Speaker 1: I thought it was fantastic, Yes, storry, I was so good.
Speaker 4: The girl is to be It was great, yes, amazing, So like I she will always win that for me. Plus the suicide Squad suicide Squad, like she she got it, so Lady Gogo would have to one. I'm not sold on this New Joker movie being a musical, but I'm I'm willing to watch it at some point.
Speaker 3: And just see what it gields. I don't know.
Speaker 4: I'll hold my true criticism of her until I see the movie.
Speaker 1: Okay, I think we'll say you with DC is that they just keep thinking if they just keep changing the actor or the person and keep telling the same story, that it will be so original, so different, the groundbreaking, that they will like be it out on Marvel Premiere or something like that, and that just won't happen.
Speaker 2: You can't change.
Speaker 1: In Batman's all my life and now Joker and why is he getting more musical every time I see a new Joker movie.
Speaker 2: When I just rewatched.
Speaker 1: The Dark Knight from like a billion years ago, still by far the greatest Joker performance I've ever seen. Shout out to, you know, an r ip Heath Ledger. But like, you can't go from that perform performance to tap dancing on stairs in Central Heart.
Speaker 2: I don't like it.
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a bit.
Speaker 4: And don't get me wrong, because Joaquin Phoenix like eight throw up like that, he definitely and he deserved the Oscar that year because he ate up all them other people in the competition. But yeah, the direction of these movies, I'm not sold on ether.
Speaker 1: Why do y'all keep having just call her right, lady God doing things?
Speaker 2: She just sang over there with that boy Brad.
Speaker 1: Exactly, and now she's over here singing with the Joker. That's not a person I expected her to be singing with. Harley never given.
Speaker 2: Musical to me, So I don't know.
Speaker 1: But okay, so you're are you watching Agatha along?
Speaker 3: Yeah? Loving Agatha right now? You know that.
Speaker 4: I was like, now, look, we're talking about musicals that damn down the Witch's roll. Now that's a banger. Okay, it goes platinum in his household. So leave the singing to Marvel. All right, well let's let's let's keep it out of DC for right now. Y'all got to earn a right, So yes, watching Agatha's My Wednesdays. Tuesdays are my Aaron Hernandez. Now you know Ron Murphy loves him, a gay character to put to true crime.
Speaker 3: Okay, so watch that. And then third, I don't know what my Thursdays are.
Speaker 4: I feel like shit. I feel like every Tuesday is a damn debate. So I have to choose that to be responsible. And then I go to my real shows. But yeah, just you know, Sundays zeus and Saturdays, I catch up if I'm in town because you know me, I like to hop on a plane chair.
Speaker 2: You can just sat and putting that PTO and taking them work. Yes, I'll go.
Speaker 1: I'll volunteer as tribute to me. Literally, thank you so much. Okay, I'm on the plane. I'm international. Out of office is on Okay, Okay, I love.
Speaker 2: That for year.
Speaker 3: Sunday, thank you.
Speaker 2: Okay, where are we going?
Speaker 4: We're going this time, We're just going to Raleigh. I'm going to a product festival, a product Yeah, I get to test out the new technology.
Speaker 1: Yeah yes, and then next time come back, let us know what you're downloading to get on the plane.
Speaker 2: We gotta do a.
Speaker 1: Guy, because I never know what to watch until I and I never know the downloaded early until I'm like in the shitty WiFi.
Speaker 2: Lobby area of the gate and they're bored.
Speaker 3: In like zone three. Exactly.
Speaker 1: I got, y'all he were gonna get Kendrick's Guide to traveling with you know the TV shows? Okay, and thank you Kendrick for being here.
