Speaker 1: Sounds ruggure. Hello, Hello, Hello, beautiful and wonderful mixologists out there.
Speaker 1: It is your girl Moni and you are back in
Speaker 1: the mix with Mani a show where we talk about
Speaker 1: the reality TV we watching, the Bravo shows and the
Speaker 1: Bravo celebrities that we cannot stand to love, hate, all
Speaker 1: of the things Judge and all the other things that
Speaker 1: are going on in pop culture and joined with me today.
Speaker 1: My faith, y'all's fath. I'm co opting the faith like
Speaker 1: it's my fath, so it's also y'all's fave. I'm just
Speaker 1: naming that for you, y'all's faith, pop culture correspondent who
Speaker 1: knows all the things about the reality. It's v it's
Speaker 1: your girl, Vanessa. She is back in the mix. How
Speaker 1: are you doing? Thank you for being.
Speaker 2: Here, Thank you for having me again. Come on, guys,
Speaker 2: mind I don't know.
Speaker 1: Yeah, And I said, like, y'all don't even know. I
Speaker 1: like texted Vy because I got it like that. I
Speaker 1: texted her and was like, you're reporting on so much
Speaker 1: news that, like I just one, this is her job.
Speaker 1: So y'all really need to like be up in it.
Speaker 1: I really need to see more. And I post so
Speaker 1: many of your news things because you keep up with
Speaker 1: everything and all the stuff. You make it so easy
Speaker 1: to literally keep up with the mess and like the tea,
Speaker 1: and I really appreciate that. So I had to have
Speaker 1: you here because you put in so much hard work.
Speaker 2: I need you.
Speaker 1: Want to know where my sources are. I don't want
Speaker 1: to just be sitting here, so reality reality recap see
Speaker 1: and reality recap see. I'm just gonna have her here. So, girl,
Speaker 1: what is going on? We were just talking about how
Speaker 1: one ghetto adult life is, especially if you're an American adult.
Speaker 1: I'm sorry for all of us right now. We are
Speaker 1: every day, every hour going through some kind of stress.
Speaker 1: My cortosol levels are high from like morning to night.
Speaker 1: I'm in fight or flight every day.
Speaker 2: The words out of my mouth, Finny, that's exactly how
Speaker 2: I feel. I don't know. It's exhausting, so exhausting.
Speaker 1: My wife and I just schedule what we call bed
Speaker 1: day tomorrow. It's where we like put the laptop in
Speaker 1: the room. We put like a blanket and some towels
Speaker 1: or a sheet down on top of the bed. We
Speaker 1: bring the snacks to the bed. We watch the shows
Speaker 1: from the bed. But the goal is if your body
Speaker 1: falls asleep, let it And so we're staying in the
Speaker 1: bed for the day.
Speaker 2: I got to convince my husband and that, like before
Speaker 2: before I came down here, I was trying to convince
Speaker 2: him of like, let's bed riding and he was like,
Speaker 2: what is that?
Speaker 1: And I'm like, you know when he's so right, because
Speaker 1: I was even like seeing I heard some people on
Speaker 1: the internets, you know, I wanted to say I read
Speaker 1: a study which is really just I watched a TikTok
Speaker 1: about how we we don't prioritize rest enough that we
Speaker 1: literally even put the negative connotation on the term bedrod
Speaker 1: or couch rot Like we make it like a bad
Speaker 1: thing to sit down, watch TV and rest for a minute.
Speaker 1: God forbid. After working eight plus hour days, we come
Speaker 1: home and enjoy forty four minutes of content of various proportions, drama, reality,
Speaker 1: mess fighting, whatever your pleasure. But like it's for three hours,
Speaker 1: Like it's like you literally you're what you're six to
Speaker 1: nine where you're not doing something there is we just
Speaker 1: have to find a moment to sit and do nothing,
Speaker 1: and we have to really put a negative spin on
Speaker 1: it and called it rotting. But baby, let me. If
Speaker 1: that's what we call in it, I'm going to have
Speaker 1: to do it tomorrow. Your girl will be into bed rotting.
Speaker 2: Look, yep, I'm saying, let's get everything we need to
Speaker 2: get done today.
Speaker 1: Yes, I'm even cleaning a house today. I entered the
Speaker 1: flow state. I was like, let's really do it so
Speaker 1: that we can enjoy just being in the bed. Like
Speaker 1: I'm gonna make grin that shit in bed. We're gonna
Speaker 1: have lunch, maybe I'll order it. We're gonna come in and
Speaker 1: eat that shit in bed, Like I'm not budgeting, Like
Speaker 1: I really I think that with especially the craziness of
Speaker 1: this last week. I think I'm like waking up every
Speaker 1: day tired, like and then like having to do the
Speaker 1: whole marathon thing again, and it feels that we're running
Speaker 1: a marathon every day. And if it wasn't news about
Speaker 1: our political life, which affects most of our psychle safety
Speaker 1: and like understanding of the world right now, our economy,
Speaker 1: Like I can't stop filling up my tank because I
Speaker 1: can't afford fifty five dollars every time I go fill
Speaker 1: up my tank. God damn that happened overnight. Well, I
Speaker 1: know it, I know it. Changed. But anyways, I was like,
Speaker 1: just last week, my guess was two fifty nine. I
Speaker 1: know y'all like in La or whatever, like crime me
Speaker 1: a river two fifty nine. But let me tell you
Speaker 1: about why this week is three fifty five and I don't.
Speaker 2: Understand money, and mine is four dollars and twenty nine
Speaker 2: cents a gallon.
Speaker 1: I went, yes, I guess.
Speaker 2: Yeah, like four. And I was in the same boat
Speaker 2: as you. It was like I was half tank. So
Speaker 2: I was like, all right, put thirty dollars in there.
Speaker 2: That shit get me won full. I don't even think
Speaker 2: I got a quarter tank out of that.
Speaker 1: I don't think I did either. I put like fifty
Speaker 1: I was at really low. My thing like counts the
Speaker 1: mile age, and I was like, oh, I got like
Speaker 1: fifty five miles. That's really low. I can at least
Speaker 1: get half a tank. We put like fifteen twenty dollars
Speaker 1: in and it got me like one hundred and thirty
Speaker 1: five miles, which is not even a half of a tank.
Speaker 1: It was right below the half. I was like, that's
Speaker 1: so disrespectful.
Speaker 2: I'm telling you really like I don't want to go
Speaker 2: below the half. Yeah, I w was twenty dollars here
Speaker 2: thirty dollars.
Speaker 1: Yeah, thirty hours, I guess because.
Speaker 2: It was already about sixty dollars to full of my
Speaker 2: tank if it was, you know, close to eat, and
Speaker 2: I can only imagine now it's probably double that.
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's not, it's not gonna it's not gonna
Speaker 1: cut it. My parent who are retired, like my mom
Speaker 1: and my stepdad who are retired and have money where
Speaker 1: like the gas prices are high. I was like, oh, bitch,
Speaker 1: if they talking about it's hurting out here. They were like,
Speaker 1: they pulled up to I just saw them today to
Speaker 1: do some exchanges. They just bought their dream home out
Speaker 1: in the country in the mountains of Virginia, and I know,
Speaker 1: I'm so happy for them, sad for me because they're
Speaker 1: further from me. But we met up in the middle
Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, hey, I miss y'all, and
Speaker 1: they were like, yeah, it was like one hundred dollars
Speaker 1: to get here. Granted, yes they're in a Mercedes and
Speaker 1: yes it's a gl whatever, but still they were not
Speaker 1: expecting that. They were like that was not the case
Speaker 1: all a month ago, and it cost them a lot.
Speaker 1: It's like hard to just be so I guess, fucking
Speaker 1: gop one. I'm gonna just walk. I'm gonna meet y'all.
Speaker 1: Let the function on foot. Go to the function on foot, y'all.
Speaker 1: That's the only thing you can do. And you know what,
Speaker 1: that's why we'd be making podcasts. So y'all can hit
Speaker 1: the bricks, get on that side, walk, put love us
Speaker 1: in and let's get through the news while you walk
Speaker 1: to your next function. Because fuck that oil company handy,
Speaker 1: all of them, I said, oh, disrespectful. Like I said,
Speaker 1: you've been reporting on all the news. There's been a
Speaker 1: lot of things that have been going on in the
Speaker 1: news as of late. The pop culture news that is.
Speaker 1: This is a quick, a little detour that I want
Speaker 1: to do. That is not necessary. It's pop culture, but
Speaker 1: it's not necessarily reality TV or Bravo or anything right now.
Speaker 1: But it does have it does have links and roots
Speaker 1: to reality TV, especially if you, like me, were raised
Speaker 1: by the illustrious basketball wives of the yester years of
Speaker 1: the two thousands. Okay, the Flora Florida Floridiot basketball wives,
Speaker 1: the og basketball wives. Okay, if you are of that,
Speaker 1: then you also remember a small, young little dancer girl,
Speaker 1: short girl who would do some split, che could dance
Speaker 1: or behind off. He was a former dancer for the NBA,
Speaker 1: dancer in general, and baby mama of one Dwight Howard.
Speaker 1: That was then that was not really much of a flex.
Speaker 1: Then it's even less of a flex now. And let
Speaker 1: me tell y'all why, because you don't even some it's
Speaker 1: never been a flex. But some apparently people think thought
Speaker 1: it was that lady who married him again. She thought
Speaker 1: it might have been a flex. Told to watch the season.
Speaker 2: Everybody was trying to tell her.
Speaker 1: It's not. Everybody was trying to tell her. And that's
Speaker 1: what I'm That's why we hear today because she ignored
Speaker 1: everybody's trying to tell hers so much. That basketball news
Speaker 1: of a retired basketball player. It has now made its
Speaker 1: way to people being like, who in the hell is
Speaker 1: Dwight Howard won? And why is he all over the news?
Speaker 1: But also why is his life so messy? And actually, Gehado,
Speaker 1: this is absurd if you don't know. There has been
Speaker 1: a custody situation or CPS situation like a child Protective
Speaker 1: Services situation that had made some stirs about in the
Speaker 1: news in the headlines TMZ, the Shade Room all the
Speaker 1: blogs and stuff, because people were like, what do you mean?
Speaker 1: Apparently illicit drugs allegedly like cocaine can appear on things
Speaker 1: like a social media story, Instagram, Live, whatever, and we
Speaker 1: know there are children in the house. Ah, that would
Speaker 1: actually be caused for a call for any other any
Speaker 1: any one of us, Like I screamed, said, what do
Speaker 1: you mean? Like, no, girl, he put it on the No,
Speaker 1: was it a live or an Instagram? What happened?
Speaker 2: So Amy Luciani, she's a former Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,
Speaker 2: So she quit the show for Dwight Howard. She met him, Yeah,
Speaker 2: she met him. They had a whirlwind romance and married
Speaker 2: shortly after their relationship began.
Speaker 1: Been after.
Speaker 2: Yeah, they've been married now for about fourteen months. A
Speaker 2: few months back.
Speaker 1: I'm sorry, waite, I have to pause. I didn't know
Speaker 1: she was only married for fourteen months. The waitst bit
Speaker 1: rying on the internet and really not looking good. It's
Speaker 1: really looking a mess. I didn't know we were only
Speaker 1: fourteen months in Yah, damn, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2: Go ahead, No, And this is not the first time.
Speaker 2: She filed for divorce about five to six months ago,
Speaker 2: and then they withdrew it and at that time of
Speaker 2: the divorce. It wasn't clear why, but in I reported
Speaker 2: on that as well the divorce, they had a mutual
Speaker 2: restraining order, so that, you know, led to some speculation
Speaker 2: that it was, you know, a domestic situation. They weren't
Speaker 2: getting the law, but they had a mutual restraining order.
Speaker 2: So fast forward to last Saturday. I'm coming from taking
Speaker 2: my kids to a birthday party.
Speaker 1: You know we did in.
Speaker 2: That line of my business.
Speaker 1: I didn't Dwight Howard knew exactly.
Speaker 2: We get thrown because my page was already going crazy
Speaker 2: from former growing up hip hop you know, Egypt getting
Speaker 2: knocked out in the ring. So I had already posted
Speaker 2: that that was already taken off. So I thought I
Speaker 2: was done for the night, and I got put in
Speaker 2: the group chat because yes, it was a video that
Speaker 2: she just posted online. It wasn't alive, but Amy Luciani
Speaker 2: posted a video where she made accusations and she alleged
Speaker 2: that her steps daughter was taken from the home their
Speaker 2: Marrital home by CPS after three previous visits to the
Speaker 2: house by by authorities. Warnings, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1: There are a lot of warnings and they don't I know,
Speaker 1: girls that got in their babies taken after an hour.
Speaker 1: They were like, oh no, we don't like that.
Speaker 2: Yeah, and three and one month span they had been
Speaker 2: all there three times of authority, one for someone allegedly
Speaker 2: trying to unalive themselves. Another one was domestic, which the
Speaker 2: nine one one call was released earlier this week of
Speaker 2: Amy saying how she was outside in the rain, he
Speaker 2: locked her out the home, she couldn't get in, and
Speaker 2: he had done this previously. She had, you know, the
Speaker 2: police have called and come before because of that. And
Speaker 2: third call to the authorities was for theft, where that
Speaker 2: nine one one call was released as well, where Dwight
Speaker 2: was saying that a woman or someone that we know
Speaker 2: was her had stole jury of his from the home
Speaker 2: and left with a jury that included his wedding ring.
Speaker 2: So yeah, she did this video alleging that he has
Speaker 2: a substance abuse problem, that the stepdaughter hadn't taken by CPS,
Speaker 2: which he has continuously denied, although him and Royce Amy
Speaker 2: and Royce has said that this is true, that the
Speaker 2: daughter is with CPS. Yeah, and she pulled an eight
Speaker 2: ball out on the internet and said that this is
Speaker 2: what she put it in her hand and said that
Speaker 2: this is what is ruining her marriage. And I said, girl,
Speaker 2: and it will keep. But you are the one on
Speaker 2: the internet with it. It's in your hands, not his.
Speaker 2: I just it was the dumbest thing I've ever seen ever.
Speaker 1: Yeah, so, and why did she leave it where it was?
Speaker 1: Like where it was found? And then what you do
Speaker 1: is you switch the camera and you just walk over
Speaker 1: to it if you gotta do it. Y'all know, I'm
Speaker 1: turning thirty next month, and I'm really been trying to
Speaker 1: step into my adult bag, getting my adulthood by balance work, life, chores,
Speaker 1: and self care. Who knew part of that self care
Speaker 1: would be my new obsession with doing my laundry, especially
Speaker 1: with laundry sauce. Y'all, the most fragrant and delicious experience
Speaker 1: just from passing the laundry room. Forget putting clothes away
Speaker 1: or on your body, smelling like the highest in fragrances.
Speaker 1: I just put my cozy, barefoot robe in that Indonesian
Speaker 1: putchuli pod and dryer sheet combo, next level delicious, smells
Speaker 1: like I'm walking out of a department store.
Speaker 3: Smells so good. The laundry sauce packaging is so chet
Speaker 3: minimal waste and easy to store. It looked like these
Speaker 3: little beauty boxes. It does give self care. It really does.
Speaker 3: Forget perfume, honey and just do your laundry. Yes, yes,
Speaker 3: I've seriously never wanted to do laundry this much, but
Speaker 3: I cannot stop trying the different. Since pairing the cute
Speaker 3: little pods with the same beautiful aromans of the dryer sheets,
Speaker 3: I've done two loads of Egyptian rows just since getting
Speaker 3: this package. Already, the clothes smelled too good. Baby, I
Speaker 3: wanted my sheets to be on that same level when
Speaker 3: I hit head to pillow. I'm so excited that Laundry
Speaker 3: Sauce is sponsoring the show and for a limited time
Speaker 3: only any mixologists, you get twenty percent off your entire
Speaker 3: order when you use code MWM at laundrysauce dot com.
Speaker 3: That's twenty percent off your order at laundrysauce dot com
Speaker 3: with promo code m WM for mix with Money. After
Speaker 3: you purchase, they'll ask you where you heard about them.
Speaker 3: Please support the Mix with Money until the money sent you.
Speaker 1: That's me.
Speaker 2: I would never stay you wrong.
Speaker 1: It's time to make laundry.
Speaker 3: Day the best day of the week or every day
Speaker 3: like me at this point.
Speaker 1: Honey, Okay, y'all know I've been honest about my journey
Speaker 1: trying to get and keep this waste on me nice
Speaker 1: and snatched. I've been also honest about my use of
Speaker 1: golp ones to do so, first to manage my type
Speaker 1: two diabetes, then to help me manage weight loss, especially
Speaker 1: when I really knew the extra help to get the
Speaker 1: lbs off was doing the diet, the exercise, but it
Speaker 1: was just not hitting the marks at I needed it
Speaker 1: to hit, and so I did. Actually a golp one
Speaker 1: shot for four years. For years, though I struggled with
Speaker 1: the idea of putting a shot in my body every
Speaker 1: single week really really stressed me out. Though I loved
Speaker 1: the results snatched ways her dappetite was looking good, close
Speaker 1: fitting on me like it hasn't in years, I had
Speaker 1: a hard time getting past the shot. However, I had
Speaker 1: to keep going back to the doctors every time I
Speaker 1: had a question or a concern. It was time consuming,
Speaker 1: even though it was working, trying to manage this new
Speaker 1: thing while trying to manage my weight loss. That's why
Speaker 1: hearing about this golp one pill that they have over
Speaker 1: at ROW I said, game changer, I need to know more. Okay,
Speaker 1: apparently they got it over there at ROW. You want
Speaker 1: to start your weight loss journey, you can do it online,
Speaker 1: not fifty thousand appointments back and forth, taking time off
Speaker 1: of work and from your busy life in doing things,
Speaker 1: more time for you, more time to do the things
Speaker 1: you want to start that journey. You can do it online.
Speaker 1: ROW has access to everything right there on the Internet's
Speaker 1: access to clinically proven, FDA approved medications, free insurance checks,
Speaker 1: side effects management, and dosing support. If you're not into
Speaker 1: the shot thing, they even have the pill on there
Speaker 1: as an option. That's right. ROW offers the first FDA
Speaker 1: approved golp one pill, a more convenient and approachable way
Speaker 1: to try gop ones if you've been thinking about it.
Speaker 1: A self administered shot can be intimidating, but now there
Speaker 1: is a pill available that delivers comparable results, has the
Speaker 1: same weight loss ingredients as the shot, but only once
Speaker 1: daily pill to curve that appetite and help you feel
Speaker 1: full longer. I've personally experienced the benefits of a golp
Speaker 1: one and my health and weight loss journey definitely told
Speaker 1: y'all was making my clothes look good, making my body
Speaker 1: feel good, had a lot more energy. It was great.
Speaker 1: My dog was loving how much I wanted to go
Speaker 1: on walks because I wasn't huffing and buffet on the walk.
Speaker 1: That's why I have to tell y'all that the Row
Speaker 1: Body Membership helps you get on this journey. It includes
Speaker 1: access to FDA approved gop ones. It includes unlimited provider messaging,
Speaker 1: side effect management, all of that, like I said, but
Speaker 1: for forty five dollars for your first month if you're
Speaker 1: listening to me, and one hundred and forty five dollars
Speaker 1: every month thereafter. Now you have access to those great medications.
Speaker 1: But the role membership fee does exclude the cost of
Speaker 1: the medications. But don't worry. Row also offers the lowest
Speaker 1: cost GOLP ones that there are that you can find
Speaker 1: that are safe and approved. Whether you're using insurance or
Speaker 1: paying cash, Row offers the lowest GOLP ones that you
Speaker 1: can find. After your first online visit, if you're eligible
Speaker 1: for treatment, you can expect to start your medication in
Speaker 1: less than a week if paying cash, or about two
Speaker 1: weeks if using insurance. Either way, you're getting that snatch
Speaker 1: bats as soon as you start that journey for yourself, honey,
Speaker 1: go to Row dot co slash m WM to c
Speaker 1: if you're eligible for the new GOLP one pill on Row.
Speaker 1: That's our dot co slash MWM. To get started on Row.
Speaker 1: Go to Row dot co slash safety for boxed warning
Speaker 1: and full safety information about GLP one medications. But that's
Speaker 1: Row dot co slash MWM with money. Thanks for your support.
Speaker 1: Or here's a thought. You know, if shout out to
Speaker 1: sisters would kill I didn't do it, but if I did,
Speaker 1: that's what they say. I would have put it in
Speaker 1: his man cave or something. If we're gonna do that,
Speaker 1: and like, don't put it in your hand and alleged
Speaker 1: it to somebody else because we have no reason to
Speaker 1: believe it's anybody else. Now, I mean, if you watched
Speaker 1: White Howard on the internet, you have reason to believe
Speaker 1: the accusations overall. But not to say that you're not involved,
Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Not to say that she's
Speaker 1: not also at fault, because it's also your if you
Speaker 1: hold it, it's literally your possession.
Speaker 2: Yeah, So she it seems like because she also included
Speaker 2: video where she recorded him speaking to her step son
Speaker 2: and trying her, yeah, get the son to blame everything
Speaker 2: going on on her, And it seems like at that
Speaker 2: point she decided to take to the internet to try
Speaker 2: to get ahead of it, what to clear her name,
Speaker 2: But baby, where's your pr where's your lawyer? Because that
Speaker 2: was not the way to do it, So.
Speaker 1: It really wasn't. And what's worse is that she also
Speaker 1: went on a rampage the wife and was like blaming
Speaker 1: other people for how bad off he is or how
Speaker 1: bad he is. No one is saying Dwight Howard is
Speaker 1: a prince if actually, if anything, we are all So
Speaker 1: I told you sewing over here that it's amazing that
Speaker 1: you even have the audacity to fix your lips and
Speaker 1: say that how did y'all let him get this bad,
Speaker 1: this far, this long? One girl, that's a grown ass man, so.
Speaker 2: Grown he with millions of dollars.
Speaker 1: He's had money and spent his money to spend abuse.
Speaker 1: He's had power and control by being a celebrity, having
Speaker 1: a name of notoriety. Even though he is no longer playing,
Speaker 1: has not played in a long time. He's had enough
Speaker 1: of all of the above that he can silence Royce.
Speaker 1: Read the best she could do was bestball wives then,
Speaker 1: and then Grilly had to literally just be a mom
Speaker 1: and live in obscurity like Nivia and all the other
Speaker 1: baby mamas of these really high powerful men who are
Speaker 1: known in the world and famous and infamous, and they
Speaker 1: do get away with a lot of the bullshit. They
Speaker 1: get away with a lot of the bullshit. But like
Speaker 1: she told me, and not me personally, but me through
Speaker 1: the TV when I was watching it, she told, thank you.
Speaker 1: She told me that he wasn't shit, then that he
Speaker 1: had a problem with the things and the dabbles, then
Speaker 1: that he had a problem with speaking to you crazy
Speaker 1: domestic things. Then we heard the play of Dwight Howe.
Speaker 1: I thought I assumed he would never get married again
Speaker 1: for how bad it was looking like it sounded like,
Speaker 1: you know, he was so to get on the internet
Speaker 1: and be like, how'd y'all let him get this bad?
Speaker 1: Why is he so mean? Why is he on the drugs?
Speaker 1: Why is he like this? I can't believe y'all did this.
Speaker 1: You weren't not able with him. It wasn't until Royce's
Speaker 1: son got on the internet that I even got involved in.
Speaker 2: This, because I was like, I know, he's.
Speaker 1: Not I know she's not saying that we because I
Speaker 1: would have been like, oh why I didn't know why
Speaker 1: it got me married? Why does she do that? I
Speaker 1: would have said that off of what we know from
Speaker 1: just the internet. You know what I'm saying. But then
Speaker 1: you got the son, his own son getting on the internet. Yes,
Speaker 1: of course to defend his mama. Also shout out to
Speaker 1: the young gen z Gin alpha kids that are defending
Speaker 1: their mama's lately, like on the internet, Ye're like, what
Speaker 1: you're not gonna do talk about my mom? So I
Speaker 1: play with my mom. Royce Reed's son Tiny Sons are like,
Speaker 1: don't come from my mom. Yeah. Dwight's son was like,
Speaker 1: so not only did my mom try a Warren home girl.
Speaker 1: I definitely was like, I don't understand why you're doing
Speaker 1: this marriage thing. I hope my father gets to help.
Speaker 3: He needs.
Speaker 1: He's needed some help a long time. So if it's coming,
Speaker 1: if it's looking like he's at a breaking point, this
Speaker 1: young teenage boy or young boy is saying, then I
Speaker 1: hope he gets it because he definitely needs it. But
Speaker 1: what we're not gonna do is blame my mama and
Speaker 1: play in her face. And Royce pretty much gone on
Speaker 1: the internet and said the same exact thing. It's ben
Speaker 1: teen Royce read over here, especially about that I'm sorry
Speaker 1: your child got taken my love, I really am, but
Speaker 1: I also would have told you that that would have happened.
Speaker 1: But also that's no one else's fault. But someone has
Speaker 1: to be held accountable, yes, him, but also you for
Speaker 1: what you allow, because you could say all these people
Speaker 1: enabled him or whatever, but it's your household, right your house.
Speaker 2: What was also disturbing about her video was that she
Speaker 2: pretty much also admitted that prior to that day, because
Speaker 2: now he's saying to her allegedly that are you gonna
Speaker 2: go down before me? You know, like I'm a blame
Speaker 2: this on you, So now you're coming. But you pretty
Speaker 2: much said in the video that you have been lying
Speaker 2: for him, covering up for him, giving alibis. So when
Speaker 2: police visited before, or if CFCPS came there before, you
Speaker 2: were complicit with what was going on, and then always
Speaker 2: letting when you decided y'all wasn't in it together, and
Speaker 2: he would throw you under the bus before he got
Speaker 2: in any trouble. Now you want to come to the
Speaker 2: internet crying and snotting in our faces, like it has
Speaker 2: the nerve minding to sit up there. She crying with
Speaker 2: this this white pottery sustance in her hand, and she
Speaker 2: goes to like wipe her nose and now she's talking
Speaker 2: and it's all over her face.
Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, girl, you are doing TV
Speaker 1: on the internet that you just did in about fifteen minutes.
Speaker 1: I want to see what's going on with you, like
Speaker 1: and you want your child back, but you're just never
Speaker 1: doing it. But you're just never giving Are you kidding me?
Speaker 1: This is all on the internet. This is what people
Speaker 1: are talking about who don't even watch. Because also after
Speaker 1: all of this, the reason why it's New Jaws, because
Speaker 1: Dwight Howard, like twenty four hours later was like at
Speaker 1: a basketball game. You reported that too, after the basketball game,
Speaker 1: just waving. You got bitch just internet screaming at each other.
Speaker 1: One's crying and snoding and doing the cocaine allegedly. You know,
Speaker 1: you got kids, beefing with your wife and whatnot. And
Speaker 1: it just made me l O L that Dwight is
Speaker 1: up there front row at the basketball game and they
Speaker 1: were like guys, ladies and gentlemen. Icon legend. Dwight Howard.
Speaker 2: He's like, hi, guys, they were rehiring his jersey that night.
Speaker 2: They were retiring his jersey that night. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2: Oh and Thence like the very next day. Yeah.
Speaker 1: Dwight was like, oh no, actually, I'm the batter wife.
Speaker 1: She's got to get these drugs out of my home.
Speaker 1: Crazy girl, police, police, get her out of here. It
Speaker 1: was getting white foul. I mean, it was given.
Speaker 2: It was pors. They were racing to the courthouse, and
Speaker 2: he happened to get crew.
Speaker 1: And Ralph remember and see, damn, I was proud of
Speaker 1: you that day. I was like, you get a girl.
Speaker 1: She's back ways. That's because she'd be on time for carpool.
Speaker 1: And if Ralph had picked up his kids enough, he
Speaker 1: would to the courthouse that part.
Speaker 2: And she should and Amy should that same car she
Speaker 2: gave us that video, and she should have drove it
Speaker 2: down to the courthouse and slipping the front at the
Speaker 2: front door. That's what she should have been driving when
Speaker 2: she was all the way to How you going all
Speaker 2: the way to l A for his jersey, retire and
Speaker 2: make it back and file for divorce while he was
Speaker 2: on the plane.
Speaker 1: Because you should have been at the courthouse because out front, Like,
Speaker 1: because then you can't he on the plane. He can't
Speaker 1: file if he's on the plane. You had about three
Speaker 1: four hours right there, girl.
Speaker 2: At Yeah, he since his lawyers there and he got
Speaker 2: to file first. Crazy thing. They're still both in the home.
Speaker 2: They both still are in the marital home because Amy
Speaker 2: had a condo. She had a condo, and she gave
Speaker 2: that condo up allegedly. That's what I'm here.
Speaker 1: I really hate.
Speaker 2: To move into this mansion with him. Did you hear
Speaker 2: her nine one one when she called nine one one
Speaker 2: and she was like, yes, we live in fifteen thousand
Speaker 2: square foot mansion, you know, And like, why did you
Speaker 2: have to tell the nine one one?
Speaker 1: Because that's always what it's been about, because that's always
Speaker 1: been what's the most important, because that's why she gave
Speaker 1: up all these things for that, thinking that's the life
Speaker 1: she was going to get. That's why she lied for
Speaker 1: this man and was complicit. Why does Mariah Buckles do it?
Speaker 1: Aka Mariah a scientist. I will not call her that
Speaker 1: because she is a dizzy bitch a bird if you will,
Speaker 1: so I call her by her actual name, Mariah Buckles.
Speaker 1: That he God gave her some and I'm like, why
Speaker 1: do they do it? It's because they think that their
Speaker 1: life that they are acquiescing four is going to repay
Speaker 1: them in the things that matter to them most, which
Speaker 1: is I guess the ability to brag about your fifteen
Speaker 1: thousand square foot mansion when you're calling the cops.
Speaker 2: Yeah, And I guess I get confused with your dodastic violence.
Speaker 2: She says she's never asked him for anything. When she
Speaker 2: went to divorce him the last time, she didn't want
Speaker 2: anything from him. She just wanted to be able to
Speaker 2: walk away. So maybe she wants to lifestyle while with him,
Speaker 2: but not looking to divorce and take it from him
Speaker 2: or to get a piece of it. I don't know.
Speaker 2: It's like it's not adding up, it's giving. You're on
Speaker 2: the lines too.
Speaker 1: Yeah, man, it's giving, you know, three stripes like Adidas.
Speaker 1: It's really they're doing them together, and that's why they're
Speaker 1: acting so badshit against each other. Like that's why the
Speaker 1: behavior is giving cocaine energy because that's Britney cart Ray
Speaker 1: how this played out. But you also knew, what do
Speaker 1: we tell Brittany? You knew that you had a lot
Speaker 1: of evidence that that was going to be your normal
Speaker 1: like they showed. When they show you who they are,
Speaker 1: believe them the first time you say you lying for
Speaker 1: this man and doing all these things and whatnot? Why
Speaker 1: because now here you are you want to tell the police. Okay,
Speaker 1: I was lying in but I'm not now sure? Yeah right,
Speaker 1: I know how don't believe that, you know, I mean
Speaker 1: lie speaking of liars, you know, shout out as I
Speaker 1: like my happy Eddie. I really just want the best
Speaker 1: for that man. Since it seems like it seems like
Speaker 1: those are something again people you know, bird behavior looks
Speaker 1: looking like Wendy is going to send that man Eddie
Speaker 1: right on down by himself. And that's just fine.
Speaker 2: I guess we go podcast that. You know, she want
Speaker 2: to be out there on the ground, I said, which
Speaker 2: is crazy. Now there I want to go to let.
Speaker 1: Me, I'm gonna take off because she's not she's not close.
Speaker 1: I actually need people to know that she doesn't live
Speaker 1: close to the courthouse where this is all taking place.
Speaker 1: This is all taking place in like Rockville. This is
Speaker 1: where like Giselle lives. And you know how that when
Speaker 1: they show the map on Potomac to real lives past
Speaker 1: where Robin used to live. When they would be like
Speaker 1: Robin's here and we are all down here, yeah, the
Speaker 1: past there, Like she's far so she's really getting on
Speaker 1: the toes to go down to Montgomery County to get there.
Speaker 1: And then but I shout out to Mark, you know,
Speaker 1: he's an insurance of fraud and insurance investigator and specialists,
Speaker 1: and he's like, yeah, but the thing is he's gonna
Speaker 1: go to real He's not gonna go to the jail
Speaker 1: in Rockville if it's just if it's not gonna go Yeah,
Speaker 1: they're gonna go to the to the president up in
Speaker 1: like Joppa or Dundalk, like closer to Teria. I'll tell
Speaker 1: you that. But out on the other side, it's not good.
Speaker 1: It's not looking good. God bless, it's not looking good.
Speaker 1: I can't wait for telling me to come back. News
Speaker 1: that I didn't expect to come back. Uh. You reported
Speaker 1: also that there was a meeting that Andy Cohen was
Speaker 1: gonna have some New Jersey this week. People have been
Speaker 1: really waiting to see, like what the hell is going
Speaker 1: to go on with that franchise, Like, yes, they killed
Speaker 1: it themselves, but so did New York and y'all are
Speaker 1: very eager to bring that back on Bravo. So what
Speaker 1: is gonna go on with New Jersey? I'm just saying,
Speaker 1: isn't it not? What happened? I had more fun in
Speaker 1: New Jersey on their way down the hill than I
Speaker 1: did in New York on their way down the hill?
Speaker 2: Let me say that, Yeah, New York down the hill
Speaker 2: like that.
Speaker 1: They got racist and terrible?
Speaker 2: Just yea, yeah? What was it? I don't know what
Speaker 2: was the dinner that they went to. Was it blash
Speaker 2: about Jack Black Shabbah?
Speaker 1: Yes, Ramona was very unhappy.
Speaker 2: It was hard to watch. First of all, the way
Speaker 2: that she complained about coming to Jersey and how she
Speaker 2: never does that. I was right, girl, you know, I
Speaker 2: was on top of how she acted at this dinner
Speaker 2: was just appalling.
Speaker 1: As an honorary Jersey girl born and raised in the DMV,
Speaker 1: loved being a Maryland girl down but man, second best
Speaker 1: state to me, it's New Jersey. Y'all know. I love Jersey.
Speaker 1: I don't know why. I just think it's amazing that
Speaker 1: everything is just like right off of a turn piaty
Speaker 1: Because I'm a drive her anyway. I can get to
Speaker 1: anything from a five star restaurant to getting some new
Speaker 1: curtains of Starbucks whatever. I've never had a bad meal.
Speaker 1: How dare Ramona you can decide? Right? Hello, I'm just like,
Speaker 1: what are you talking about? Terrible woman and y'all still
Speaker 1: want to bring her back on there so bad and
Speaker 1: you want to up keep Roney's memory alive. I say,
Speaker 1: also the same justice then for New Jersey, because what
Speaker 1: do you mean like off into obscurity? Those girls did
Speaker 1: not work so hard to get back together. And about
Speaker 1: the girls, I mean Joevourka, Melissa his wife, and Teresa,
Speaker 1: the girls, they didn't work this hard offline to not
Speaker 1: come back, like when they said when he said he
Speaker 1: was having a meeting, I said, Okay, let's see how
Speaker 1: this goes. Hope it's well. And then there was reports
Speaker 1: also by Reality on the Score Rica that there were
Speaker 1: gonna be some new girls y diverse question mark.
Speaker 2: Yes, what the hell?
Speaker 1: In a good way? Yeah, and a good way the
Speaker 1: hell like what good? Okay? Color people were like curious
Speaker 1: as to why I was so excited when I posted it.
Speaker 1: I was like, this is good for us, and they
Speaker 1: were like, oh, who are they? I said, no, it's
Speaker 1: just that they not all white Italian girls.
Speaker 2: Yeah. And it was Zia Amber and Gia are the
Speaker 2: alleged newcomers to season fifteen in Real Housewives in New Jersey.
Speaker 2: Natia is a glam model, Like she's a glam model.
Speaker 2: Amber is married to a huge MLB baseball player. He's
Speaker 2: retired now but well known and we all know Gia Cassie,
Speaker 2: wife of dj Envy Breakfast Club rich agit.
Speaker 1: This is such a get Let me tell you something
Speaker 1: one I hate dj MV. Let's start with that, which
Speaker 1: is why I'm interested in this. This is why I'm
Speaker 1: interested in this because dj Envy is a very polarizing figure.
Speaker 1: If you listen to the Breakfast Club, if you watch it,
Speaker 1: if you know the Internet, he has been on it
Speaker 1: for so long. I think what he says is so polarizing.
Speaker 1: Think who he is as a polarizing person. He definitely
Speaker 1: acted like we didn't watch him carry on a whole
Speaker 1: affair with Rika Mina for a long ass time on
Speaker 1: the in the worlds to be like, no, I didn't.
Speaker 1: What are you don't get me started? That really pissed
Speaker 1: me off a couple of years ago. I don't put
Speaker 1: it at nauseum on my show. But like, he is
Speaker 1: still married to this woman, his wife and they have
Speaker 1: a big life, a rich life, and I just really
Speaker 1: want to know what all she's allowing and let happen,
Speaker 1: especially in that Jersey realm. I mean it makes sense.
Speaker 1: Also spoiler, the og girlies are also going to be returning, Dolores,
Speaker 1: Teresa and Melissa Good. They deserve to have this. This
Speaker 1: is their show. It was their show to screw up,
Speaker 1: So I'm glad it's their show to help men to
Speaker 1: make better. We don't need any more naysayers and who
Speaker 1: are just trying to get into the wedge of the
Speaker 1: Teresa v. Melissa thing. We just need people who are causing.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't need anybody people anymore, people coming on
Speaker 2: and being there for two minutes and then deciding to
Speaker 2: make things worse then jumping into it and get that.
Speaker 2: We don't need that no more.
Speaker 1: I think we should get rid of that, we should
Speaker 1: dead that. Now that they say they're in a good place,
Speaker 1: let's see about it, let's actually let that be. I
Speaker 1: actually think we'll have a lot more fun, I really do,
Speaker 1: especially with these new girls. I know that DJ Envy's wife.
Speaker 1: They've been in Jersey so long, they're known, so this
Speaker 1: is like these aren't just like new, random, like, this
Speaker 1: doesn't feel like Ronie's uh, you know, rebuilt where it
Speaker 1: was just like, let's get all the best influencers that
Speaker 1: will say yes to us and like throw them on there.
Speaker 1: They want to be on TV and throw caution at
Speaker 1: the wind, which is why that didn't work. We're splitting
Speaker 1: the pack. We got old and new and connected, and
Speaker 1: I think that's gonna be cute.
Speaker 2: Listen, and Bravo has been trying to get Gia for years.
Speaker 2: She's just just go down multiple times.
Speaker 1: So what do you think made her say yes? Is
Speaker 1: it Michelle? I think it's timing.
Speaker 2: I think timing may be good for her. Right, they've
Speaker 2: written their book, she's had all her children. I think
Speaker 2: she done. I don't know. Every time you turned around
Speaker 2: she was pregnant again. But I think she's done.
Speaker 1: In controversy a little bit too.
Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, I think I think it's a good time.
Speaker 2: It just it feels right for her, you know, Like
Speaker 2: I said, they've written their book, he's doing his thing
Speaker 2: this This would be good for her, for us to
Speaker 2: really get to know more because he has a real
Speaker 2: interesting story.
Speaker 1: I want to know more about her.
Speaker 2: I'm her story through.
Speaker 1: The lens of her husband's public persona and how it's
Speaker 1: like how he is as a person as an entertainer. Honestly, Like,
Speaker 1: then is it how we inform how their marriage or
Speaker 1: whatever it is that she's letting go down go down?
Speaker 1: And I like when we have radio DJ wives on shows,
Speaker 1: I actually think it's a it's a it's a pretty
Speaker 1: small niche corner, but it always produces really well. You
Speaker 1: saw it also on when Loving Marriage did the d
Speaker 1: the DMV spin off, we had Quicksilver and his wife
Speaker 1: on the show. And that is another thing because like
Speaker 1: they have personalities behind these the radio personalities are these
Speaker 1: big personalities, which means that they all just similar to
Speaker 1: any other like basketball, football, whatever they are married to somebody,
Speaker 1: like they have a home with all the same kind
Speaker 1: of goings on that she would like hear about on
Speaker 1: their show. Like for instance, I know, I'm curious because
Speaker 1: the controversy surrounding Envy actually and his wife because I
Speaker 1: think it was a Halloween that their daughter like dressed
Speaker 1: as Little Kim, Do you know what I'm talking about?
Speaker 1: They dressed as Little Kim, and but like they made
Speaker 1: her do like a video and a specific Little Kim
Speaker 1: outfit in song that was like of the most of
Speaker 1: the inappropriates, like not to say that. You know, you
Speaker 1: could have any little Kim song probably be like you, Oh,
Speaker 1: they're all inappropriate depending on who you ask, but it
Speaker 1: was like of them all that one was like that
Speaker 1: one's for the baby. We could have done another little
Speaker 1: little baby. And it was Gio on the internet going like,
Speaker 1: let me tell you something. I like her big LEI okay,
Speaker 1: and I just this is how I wanted to celebrate,
Speaker 1: And I was like, huh, I don't know if I agree,
Speaker 1: but that's why I think she'd be a good pick.
Speaker 2: Yeah, she definitely don't take no mess. She's a she's
Speaker 2: a smart woman. Like I said, she has a story.
Speaker 2: When you know her and DJ Envy, they have been
Speaker 2: together since their high school teenage years. I don't know
Speaker 2: if people remember give when she was it was like
Speaker 2: a story. She walked home from school one day and
Speaker 2: because of her skin color, and these girls antagonized her
Speaker 2: and actually sliced her face. She had a huge gash
Speaker 2: in her face and she was either on I don't
Speaker 2: know if it was Montel or Jenny Jones one of
Speaker 2: those daytime talk shows, telling her story and a plastic
Speaker 2: surgeon reached out to her to help and kind of
Speaker 2: helped put her her face back together. I mean, she
Speaker 2: has a really interesting story. I think she would be
Speaker 2: all three of them. I'm like, it's just given what
Speaker 2: we need. It's giving ambiyonce. It's not insurance fraud, it's
Speaker 2: not giving task what I want. It's giving real upper echellonce.
Speaker 2: It's giving real elegance, like real money. And I'm not giving.
Speaker 1: Thrown up on a point five eight care line in Paramus.
Speaker 2: You know it's finally, y'all.
Speaker 1: You ever see the street? It don't fit. I love
Speaker 1: jen Aiden as a housewife. I think she's fucking polarizing
Speaker 1: and wild and kookie. I would not want to be
Speaker 1: her friend in real life. But man, that house does
Speaker 1: not fit on that block. I'm just saying. And that's
Speaker 1: not because the house on that block are small, They're
Speaker 1: they're beautiful homes. It just feels like it's like it
Speaker 1: feels like the Jaselle home of the block.
Speaker 2: Like giving the right curve appeal.
Speaker 1: It's not. It just feels like you tried, this is
Speaker 1: the lot you could afford, and so you over killed
Speaker 1: on that what you could do on that lot. And
Speaker 1: I don't love that. It just goes stand out, you
Speaker 1: know what I mean, Yeah, go stand out. So but listen,
Speaker 1: I'm happy for Jersey. I am happy for Theresa Melissa.
Speaker 1: I like it when they're okay and they're not fighting
Speaker 1: each other, so me too.
Speaker 2: When they're actually when they have each other's back.
Speaker 1: Yeah, and when Louisa has access to her brother. It's
Speaker 1: all is better when he's not made to pick between
Speaker 1: the two of them, when Teresa doesn't force him to
Speaker 1: pick between the two of them, is it makes for
Speaker 1: a much better time. I am very curious to see
Speaker 1: Luis back on TV.
Speaker 2: Me too. There's so many rules whirling, There's so many
Speaker 2: you know, rumors we.
Speaker 1: Told her that before they got walked down the aisle.
Speaker 2: Yeah, alleged cheating.
Speaker 1: And that big ass hair, or that she wore down
Speaker 1: the aisle. Yeah, I'm just I want to know what
Speaker 1: the finance is looking like. You know. Luia's like, we
Speaker 1: are out of money, we are out of the reserves.
Speaker 1: Because I stopped running cons the show, get back on
Speaker 1: the show. I wasn't expecting him to kick y'all off
Speaker 1: because you fight too much. Oh my god, I stopped
Speaker 1: counting all these other women for the This was the
Speaker 1: long time.
Speaker 2: Yes, I thought for comfortable lifestyle. Uh huh.
Speaker 1: So now he's done it. I can't wait. I'm really happy.
Speaker 1: I'm glad about that. I'm also glad about House Hoes
Speaker 1: of Rhode Island returning or premiering pretty soon. That's coming back,
Speaker 1: that's coming up the Lord there to April fifteenth. I'm
Speaker 1: really excited about that. Spring is really springing, like it's
Speaker 1: time for the fresh blooms. The girls are going back outside.
Speaker 1: Speaking of outside, it was also reported on at Reality
Speaker 1: Underscore Recap the Candy and Todd Tucker finally reached the
Speaker 1: divorce settlement. I'm shocked how quickly he gave gave up
Speaker 1: on this.
Speaker 2: You know what I knew, And I think I commented
Speaker 2: her when she posted that she did her last Broadway
Speaker 2: show on that and Juliet and I comment, I said,
Speaker 2: now it's trying to get back home and get that
Speaker 2: man out of your poolhouse, trying to get that man out,
Speaker 2: And that's exactly what she did. She went back home and.
Speaker 1: Say something about Candy if she's a deep tourist bro
Speaker 1: like she is a tourus down and as a fellow
Speaker 1: tourist myself when we we don't we prioritize luxury, and
Speaker 1: people hear that and they think that we just care
Speaker 1: about like you know, like brands and stuff. There's a
Speaker 1: reason why Kenny is not that girl. We care about
Speaker 1: not being uncomfortable. That's what we mean by luxury. It
Speaker 1: doesn't even have to be that it's an her Man's blanket,
Speaker 1: but it does need to be the best goddamn past
Speaker 1: me in a blanket that money can buy. If it's
Speaker 1: at the Georgia farmers Market, I don't give a shit
Speaker 1: that it's seventy four dollars. If they're like, oh, girl,
Speaker 1: we blended this off the sherpa or the whatever. We
Speaker 1: took this off the wool yesterday, and I touch it
Speaker 1: and it makes me we want to go home and
Speaker 1: have a nap. Right then, I'm gonna get it. That's
Speaker 1: what we mean by luxury. And Candy is literally the same.
Speaker 1: She likes good food and to not be uncomfortable or
Speaker 1: upset in her own home. So she did. She went
Speaker 1: home and said, all right, I got my coin, I
Speaker 1: did it. I'm done with that. Did we go time
Speaker 1: to time for you to go? Okay? Because we also
Speaker 1: only work as much as we need to so that
Speaker 1: we can be able to sustain those seventy five dollars
Speaker 1: blanket purchases of the Shifa and the wool immediately like,
Speaker 1: that's it. It's just so because we're so lazy, baby,
Speaker 1: we lazy. We don't want to fight, we don't want
Speaker 1: to argue, which is why I was like, I was
Speaker 1: shocked Todd gave in so early, because I know Candy
Speaker 1: was done. She was over it. When she had to file,
Speaker 1: she was like, I'm done with this. I don't want
Speaker 1: to do this no more.
Speaker 2: I'm just I don't even know what it was that
Speaker 2: he was trying to fight or get out of it.
Speaker 2: When you did your pre nub. It was recorded, video
Speaker 2: recorded to lawyers present, not to mention. It was also
Speaker 2: aired on Bravo. What is it that your contestant and
Speaker 2: you're saying you felt forced into it?
Speaker 1: Of course you know, of course you feel that way.
Speaker 1: We all saw that you were gonna feel that. I
Speaker 1: have had this thought about Todd Tucker and that he
Speaker 1: would do this when they inevitably got divorced, probably since
Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. I tell you all the time, the
Speaker 1: moment he tried to open a brunch restaurant right next
Speaker 1: to Old Lady Gang, and he brought candy to a
Speaker 1: brand new brick and mortar when restaurant industries have the
Speaker 1: worst return on investment ever. I was like, you can't
Speaker 1: just extend your hours for breakfast at the place you
Speaker 1: already own a liquor license, have water, electricity, and a staff.
Speaker 1: I don't understand why you need a separate breakfast spot
Speaker 1: unless you want to rack up the properties and the
Speaker 1: businesses that you have in communal so that you have
Speaker 1: more to split. Because we all saw you signed that
Speaker 1: prenup that says you get nothing of it from them songs,
Speaker 1: and I still listen to that. You still listen to
Speaker 1: every day, and you will never be able to run
Speaker 1: away from because one thing about it. They're gonna play
Speaker 1: those scrubs in the bodega. They just are. They play
Speaker 1: in the in the restaurants they.
Speaker 2: Are and blaze. The steakhouse that they had together is
Speaker 2: also in legal troubles to their rents.
Speaker 1: It had the most ghetto experience being opened a lot
Speaker 1: and that was one hundred percent Todd Tucker's brainchild, Baby
Speaker 1: and everything right. They had the worst ratings. They had
Speaker 1: a shooting. I think at some point their people were
Speaker 1: complaining that they were spending forty dollars on lamb chops
Speaker 1: and whatnot, and they could tell that things were being
Speaker 1: cut in half, like they could tell that portions were
Speaker 1: being cut in half because also that means you're using
Speaker 1: the wrong knife. They can see the ridges on the
Speaker 1: lamp chop where it should have been a rack, and
Speaker 1: they said, where's the rest of my rack? Why do
Speaker 1: I see the cut lines? But Boo I said, oh no,
Speaker 1: not so I don't have enough for the lamp shop
Speaker 1: or the right knives. That's crazy, But that was what
Speaker 1: was happened, and people were saying it was really bad,
Speaker 1: poor portions, bad food, all the things things that are
Speaker 1: not usually associated with candy when you know things are
Speaker 1: going well. We do know old Lady Gang also had
Speaker 1: that thing. You know that it wasn't a it's not
Speaker 1: a great place to go and eat, but it was
Speaker 1: a cash cow and a bread and butter. But that
Speaker 1: was not enough and that being got greedy. So I'm
Speaker 1: very shocked that he is all good with it now,
Speaker 1: But like I also am not shocked that candy was Like,
Speaker 1: let me tell you what I'm not gonna do. And
Speaker 1: my big grown age is do this dance with you
Speaker 1: for long? You know what you signed up for, you
Speaker 1: know what you signed on. You said if we got divorced,
Speaker 1: you signed a paper. I signed a paper if we
Speaker 1: got divorced. This is what it is. So this is
Speaker 1: what it is.
Speaker 2: Yeah. Nor do I think he had money long enough
Speaker 2: to keep going to court and paying lawyer fees and
Speaker 2: all of that, because just.
Speaker 1: Won't be like, hey, he's not paying for that. Because
Speaker 1: you want to contest a prenup that you signed. It's
Speaker 1: supposed to make all of our jobs. That's the point.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I am. I'm interested to see the candy given
Speaker 2: on anything at all. The details of their settlement has
Speaker 2: not yet been released. They have to turn it into
Speaker 2: the court by end of next week, so you know,
Speaker 2: I'll you know, as a correspondent, as Mannie says, give
Speaker 2: you got better of that when it becomes available. So
Speaker 2: I'm always to see has she given in in any point?
Speaker 2: Is she giving any money? Because it was settled fairly
Speaker 2: quickly from where they went of months of him claiming
Speaker 2: that he wants soul custody and be able to make
Speaker 2: all the primary decisions because of her travel and her going,
Speaker 2: you know, doing Broadway or always, you know, traveling, acting
Speaker 2: everything that she does to her saying that, well, you
Speaker 2: want primary custody, but you ain't doing that. You ain't
Speaker 2: panel tuition, you ain't helping with no major expenses. They
Speaker 2: were going back and forth. So I'm interested to see
Speaker 2: what are the details that they agreed on. Is he
Speaker 2: even moving out? If he is, is it right away?
Speaker 2: It's a lot to it, and it says that the
Speaker 2: settlement will include custody everything. So I'm definitely interested to see.
Speaker 2: Did she have to give in on anything just to
Speaker 2: get this man out of her face, which would be
Speaker 2: okay because she would.
Speaker 1: Make no judgment at all, Kenny, Yeah, if you have
Speaker 1: your peace of mind at the end of the sentence
Speaker 1: that they say, if she looked at her lawyer and said,
Speaker 1: this is what he wants, this is what he'll agree to,
Speaker 1: and we'll be done today. If I find this today,
Speaker 1: she might just be like, I'll eat it.
Speaker 2: Yeah, because my mom was like that.
Speaker 1: I'm sorry my mom was like that when she left.
Speaker 1: My daddy said, she said, I am so done that
Speaker 1: I had to be a witness of my parents' divorce.
Speaker 1: She had me in the courthouse testify and I was like, yes, yeah,
Speaker 1: ah know, they really want to divorce each other. He
Speaker 1: was so right, please grant them. My mama said yes
Speaker 1: to whatever. She was like, if it means it'll be
Speaker 1: absolutely done for the longest time. I can say that
Speaker 1: now because she's remarried and happy and like lives her
Speaker 1: dream life for the longest time. Her phone passed word
Speaker 1: was her divorce date.
Speaker 2: I know that's right.
Speaker 1: Nothing, yeah, man, nothing. And I talked a little bit about, like,
Speaker 1: you know, because I grew up in a in a
Speaker 1: you know, black religious church cult situation, a very megachurchy
Speaker 1: yet meets like but meets Mary h and what they
Speaker 1: think is called cody high exit costs. One of them
Speaker 1: was my own family and my parents like uh not
Speaker 1: basically choosing two different sides of it. But my mama
Speaker 1: was very has always been even though she's an Aquarius,
Speaker 1: I think her moon is Taurists and that's very much so.
Speaker 1: Why because she raised me to be like, when you're done,
Speaker 1: oh baby, you don't need to patch yourself up to
Speaker 1: accept more for what. No, like, I'll give them whatever.
Speaker 1: My mama was like, tank my credit score, do whatever.
Speaker 1: I will rebuild. That's rebuildable, that's regettable, that's restokable. Bye.
Speaker 1: My time is not replenishable. So giving my freedom and
Speaker 1: the judge said, you look till my mom even spoken
Speaker 1: their divorce. The whole time was they were like, would
Speaker 1: you like to reinstate your maide a name? She said yes,
Speaker 1: I would, She said, give it back. Yeah.
Speaker 2: MANI I got married at the age of twenty five
Speaker 2: and it did not It was not well at all.
Speaker 2: And I got up out of it clean and I
Speaker 2: found the divorce papers myself, and same thing, like, I
Speaker 2: want clean. We ain't got nothing tied to each other,
Speaker 2: no bank accounts, no properties. I want out and I
Speaker 2: ain't looked back since. So I that's it. Yeah, and
Speaker 2: that's it.
Speaker 1: You gotta do what you gotta You gotta protect that
Speaker 1: mental you gotta protect that peace. Honey, you really do.
Speaker 1: You gotta do what you gotta do. Like in fact,
Speaker 1: like so many, we're seeing a lot I'm seeing, We're
Speaker 1: seeing some awakenings happening. One thing I'm really proud of
Speaker 1: the fact the you know, the season four of The
Speaker 1: Secret Liized Normal Wives just premiered over the week the weekend.
Speaker 1: I'm a hello bedday. Look I did prestart. Sorry my
Speaker 1: love so mad when she get on there and be
Speaker 1: like what she gonna be like episode three and like, yeah,
Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what happened though, listen to the episode.
Speaker 2: Yeah why, I mean I've seen some things on the internet, right,
Speaker 2: I've seen some things are happening. Everybody hates Dad Talk.
Speaker 2: Tell me what's going on? Why everybody hate why? I
Speaker 2: never liked that talk to begin with. We talked on
Speaker 2: I'm saying it was too many men and reunion right, and.
Speaker 1: It's like and quadrupled down on it because I don't
Speaker 1: even think, okay one, it's because their leader is Jordan,
Speaker 1: and that is a very bad leader. Jesse is now
Speaker 1: hopeful soon to be possible ex husband is a really
Speaker 1: not good leader. To read Dad Talk one.
Speaker 2: Did they vote him in or did he just make that?
Speaker 1: Started it basically like a quote unquote a couple of
Speaker 1: seasons ago. It's like a jokey joke, but when it's
Speaker 1: the problem is in the very first episode. And this
Speaker 1: is why I'm glad that so many of these young
Speaker 1: women who we were concerned about in season one are
Speaker 1: now in season four and like in real time, growing up,
Speaker 1: and we're watching them grow up and not grow up
Speaker 1: sheltered in their own like Mormon bubbles, but grow up
Speaker 1: and get a little sense and have a clue. Because
Speaker 1: like Michayla's separating from Jace. We'll get to that in
Speaker 1: a moment. But like, yeah, good for her, she said,
Speaker 1: he you want to get out of that house. Mckayl.
Speaker 1: I've always liked her. I'm sorry, y'all never gonna make
Speaker 1: me hate that girl.
Speaker 2: So we definitely have to get into it. I'm not
Speaker 2: sure what happened that. How did he become the bad guy?
Speaker 1: I don't think it said Jace became the bad guy
Speaker 1: to anybody, or is that himself. It's that she went
Speaker 1: from an abusive situation in her youth to another one.
Speaker 1: Not I mean, yes, sure you can say technically, but
Speaker 1: like a four year gap or a five year gap
Speaker 1: when she is a teenager is a significant gap. If
Speaker 1: I remember leading, like you know, if you went to
Speaker 1: Catholic school, you went on retreat. I remember leading retreat.
Speaker 1: And there was a junior in high school, a junior,
Speaker 1: a girl who was talking about how her boyfriend, this
Speaker 1: new boyfriend she had, was twenty one. She's sixteen and
Speaker 1: he is so good to her. But she was talking
Speaker 1: like there are things that made her feel different and weird,
Speaker 1: but she didn't know what those feelings were. It was like,
Speaker 1: that's your youth, and that's his control. Like that's him
Speaker 1: exercising his age and knowledge of a little bit more
Speaker 1: above you on purpose. That's what's making me feel weird.
Speaker 1: But you know how to put your finger on it.
Speaker 1: So it was really that Mikayla we all could see
Speaker 1: as an audience that how they go together. Even though
Speaker 1: she he saved her from whatever it is emotionally that
Speaker 1: she the abuse that she was in on that she
Speaker 1: was going through as a young person. The situation then
Speaker 1: shifted to her getting with this older man and getting pregnant,
Speaker 1: then getting married and so shifting from one abuse cycle
Speaker 1: technically to another, like because it was sexual abuse that
Speaker 1: she was going through, and then to see and hear
Speaker 1: that last season they've been having a lot of sexual
Speaker 1: intimacy issues over the last few years because she keeps
Speaker 1: popping out babies, popping out babies, her body is holding
Speaker 1: on to stress. She obviously has severe autoimmune disease issues
Speaker 1: and flare ups right like they are big flare ups.
Speaker 1: They're better when she's pregnant, and they go high when
Speaker 1: she's not. She is anxious at home about being with
Speaker 1: her husband. She's anxious about having the sex and doing
Speaker 1: the marital thing and having the doing the Mormon be fruitful,
Speaker 1: and she's anxious and her body. Your body holds the score.
Speaker 1: I've never seen a better example of that, Like, that's
Speaker 1: something my wife always says, is a chiropractice, something that
Speaker 1: said a lot in the wellness community. I've never seen
Speaker 1: a better example of that than looking at Mikayla every season.
Speaker 1: You don't know what face you're going to get, what
Speaker 1: it looks like she is going through because your body
Speaker 1: holds the score. And as we start season four, the
Speaker 1: first couple of episodes, she looks like she's going through
Speaker 1: it in real time now that she has separated from him,
Speaker 1: and she just TikTok okay, she just from the TikTok
Speaker 1: or real of her being in her new house with
Speaker 1: her baby, a little rental home, and she said, heavy
Speaker 1: on that had to get the hell out of that house.
Speaker 1: And I said, uh huh, and you look good doing it.
Speaker 2: Okay, I'm sure you know you put it into perspective
Speaker 2: for me, because all I said, like I've been I've
Speaker 2: been heavy on the dodge and the spoilers. That's what
Speaker 2: I've been heavy on.
Speaker 1: Please do always.
Speaker 2: It was like I did see a few people saying like, yeah, goird,
Speaker 2: do what you gotta do for you. So I was like,
Speaker 2: did he do something? You did anything?
Speaker 1: But since they went to therapy and we're talking about
Speaker 1: the intimacy things, he was like, this is a non
Speaker 1: negotiable for me, which I understand, but like she didn't
Speaker 1: even feel comfortable in all these years of marriage now
Speaker 1: twenty five telling me the extent of her abuse until recently.
Speaker 1: And You're like, I've been patient up until now because
Speaker 1: I know you were abused, but I need you to
Speaker 1: do that. And I have an issue with men who
Speaker 1: do who do that. You can't how you're gonna tell
Speaker 1: me you understand and you'll be patient, but your patience
Speaker 1: has limits limits. Then that's not patients. I don't understand that.
Speaker 1: So he said it could be a deal breaker for
Speaker 1: him if they couldn't get past it. So maybe they
Speaker 1: couldn't get past it and then deal was broken, in
Speaker 1: which case, go ahead, Mikayla. She's only twenty five. She's
Speaker 1: twenty five with like three kids. She is gonna be
Speaker 1: just fine. I am like it shit now, they got
Speaker 1: so much money. That's the reason why Jordan and these
Speaker 1: dads wanted dad talk, and the reason why we're all
Speaker 1: so mad about it is because what do you mean, Like,
Speaker 1: I'm gonna not spoil the first two episodes with y'all,
Speaker 1: but I'm gonna talk very lightly. We'll talk a little
Speaker 1: lightly on the first couple because I still am like
Speaker 1: ready to get into the actual binge before I even
Speaker 1: talk about it, ohheartedly. But like Jordan's is. He even
Speaker 1: says that he just wants to be able to preve
Speaker 1: that Jesse or the women don't have a monopoly on
Speaker 1: the internet, which one dad talk is a playoff of
Speaker 1: what mom talk. We're here because of what mom talks.
Speaker 2: That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 1: Invited to the villa for what? Why are you so
Speaker 1: mad at mom talk? He's so angry. It just seems
Speaker 1: like his intentions aren't pure. It's not giving let's get
Speaker 1: the bag too, gentlemen. It's they get to do whatever
Speaker 1: they want because their mom talk. Yeah, they get money
Speaker 1: and stuff and they get to do whatever because their
Speaker 1: mom talked, and we could do it too. We can
Speaker 1: make fun tiktoks. Actually, but that's the thing. They're hot, y'all,
Speaker 1: are not. They're hot in their moms. That's literally why
Speaker 1: mom talk is a thing. The whole gag is the
Speaker 1: Taylor Frankie Paul don't look like she had all them
Speaker 1: fucking babies. And she's more fun to watch dance and
Speaker 1: flip her hair than Jordan's and Jacob and Dunk coda.
Speaker 1: I don't want to watch them do that. I want
Speaker 1: to watch the girlies. We're here for the girlies. Why
Speaker 1: spending so much on my dad talk? Yeah?
Speaker 2: I want them to find their own lane, you know,
Speaker 2: not this. We generate something that's already working, you know,
Speaker 2: for the girls. Like and it's okay to not be
Speaker 2: the star in your home. It's okay to just be
Speaker 2: the dad that experience. Look, I want to hold his
Speaker 2: hand while we said, you're not the star bus whoa whoa,
Speaker 2: whoa woo.
Speaker 1: But also Jordan's I also that's bullshit because you marry
Speaker 1: Jesse when she was already a millionaire, Like you act
Speaker 1: like you've been married to her for like ten plus
Speaker 1: years or whatever. Y'all are freshly married a few years,
Speaker 1: not saying that's nothing, but like she already was a
Speaker 1: big personality, a big pillar in the community, had this
Speaker 1: giant you know, Salon was big, and the Mormon Church
Speaker 1: had been divorced. It was like already known. She was
Speaker 1: already on social media doing all these things you've been
Speaker 1: benefiting from that life. Did she have a little bit
Speaker 1: of an affair or something on you, Yes, and now
Speaker 1: you're nervous about how you'll get your coins and up.
Speaker 1: She flat out says she was like, I think he's
Speaker 1: worried about how he's gonna maintain his lifestyle because he's
Speaker 1: gotten used to this lifestyle that I've given him. And
Speaker 1: now that we're on the rocks, and Jesse keeps leaving
Speaker 1: the house. Unfortunately at the time, she going to hotels
Speaker 1: and has her overnight wire sale bag and they're like,
Speaker 1: all girls, she got the divorce bag. The girls even
Speaker 1: know our friends are like, oh, she got the overnight bag. Uh. Oh,
Speaker 1: She's like, oh, it's definitely as my daperbag. Girl. We
Speaker 1: see y'all makeup right in there.
Speaker 2: But there's a difference between having money and local popularity
Speaker 2: to gaining celebrity status.
Speaker 1: And then on the show.
Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think.
Speaker 1: They had a lot of opportunities.
Speaker 2: Yeah. Now you know he's not liking being mad about Yeah,
Speaker 2: and he was like, he's also mad that the internet
Speaker 2: was talking about this affair and he feels like the
Speaker 2: fool for staying. Women do it all the time.
Speaker 1: So yeah, if you feel like that's on you.
Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, we don't really, we want to work on
Speaker 2: other things. We're judging other things.
Speaker 1: We're judging the fact that you say that you stayed
Speaker 1: and you want to be you want credit for staying,
Speaker 1: but you are an asshole every five minutes that you
Speaker 1: were talking to this lady. It doesn't give that you
Speaker 1: stayed for the right reasons.
Speaker 2: And you're all cold before that happened. That's why happens.
Speaker 1: That's why it happened. That's why a man could just
Speaker 1: look at her and after forty eight hours being like,
Speaker 1: you know, you're beautiful, and she's like, kiss me because
Speaker 1: the way you talk to me nice, like the bars
Speaker 1: in Hell. I feel so bad for actually, I actually
Speaker 1: feel bad for Demmy and Jesse. And I'm not gonna
Speaker 1: spoil the Demmy tomline, but she is in some of
Speaker 1: these episodes y'all. So even though she's not supposed to
Speaker 1: be here, she is here. But let me tell you,
Speaker 1: the editing is hilarious of them. They did the Bravo,
Speaker 1: They did the Bravo at it of like they they listen,
Speaker 1: we hear the producers ask questions to an empty chair
Speaker 1: and they be like, you need decline to be interviewed?
Speaker 2: What what Bravo producers stay behind when they wrapped city
Speaker 2: to help with this over here, because.
Speaker 1: They said one texting and the producer, you, you know
Speaker 1: what you should do? You know, you know what you do.
Speaker 1: You know what you do. Just ask you ask the
Speaker 1: air like why did you decide to let the husbands
Speaker 1: go to the Vanda pump Villa? And y'all know, will
Speaker 1: be funny. Really remind people that she just quit for
Speaker 1: no reason.
Speaker 2: She's in New York right now, so her on saying
Speaker 2: that she she doesn't regret not being there.
Speaker 1: Because why does she need to regret it? Y'all are
Speaker 1: still asking her stuff. She still gets to see Whitney.
Speaker 1: She's she's so happy in New York. But I said,
Speaker 1: I even commented, she's so glad y'all stopped her. Thank
Speaker 1: you so much, Like she was thrilled. She's now like
Speaker 1: out with Connor and Whitney and because you know she's
Speaker 1: doing her Broadway run and shout out to Whitney. She's
Speaker 1: had the best glow up I've seen on TV.
Speaker 2: Yet.
Speaker 1: Brother Ballast, her dance partner who's done Broadway. He professional,
Speaker 1: he's fucking amazing and now he's gonna be on it
Speaker 1: for a true like if Chicago did a great number
Speaker 1: when Arihanna was and I think this might be their
Speaker 1: best one yet. I'm tempted to go back and see it.
Speaker 1: I saw Arihanna, I've.
Speaker 2: Seen you see.
Speaker 1: I'm tempted to go see it. Do we go see it?
Speaker 2: I want to see that. We need to see it
Speaker 2: because I'm Broadway girl, but I want to.
Speaker 1: Be I will say was very fun.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I haven't seen any of the Broadway shows. I
Speaker 2: think the last time I went I was a little
Speaker 2: girl and I went with my mom to see Cats.
Speaker 2: So I'm sorry.
Speaker 1: Because is a banger of a terrible show. Yeah.
Speaker 2: I like an off Broadway show that was like a
Speaker 2: one woman show. I can't even think of the name
Speaker 2: that was really good. But I would love to see that.
Speaker 2: Megan thee Stallion is coming to what is it? Mulin rouge?
Speaker 2: Is it?
Speaker 1: I want to She's going to be there Maya. Rudolph
Speaker 1: is going to be an Oh Mary on Broadway, which
Speaker 1: is about Mary Todd Lincoln. She's playing the titular character,
Speaker 1: which I love because one of my Rudolf as a
Speaker 1: black woman.
Speaker 2: Yeah, and I want to see becomes her. Yeah, shout
Speaker 2: out to one of my movies, girl, like I love
Speaker 2: the movie. I would love.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: When you get the emails and stuff, you know what's
Speaker 2: going on.
Speaker 1: I do love and I love Broadway. So it's it's giving.
Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to go back and see Chicago, and
Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to call ve y'all and we're gonna
Speaker 1: have to go and then tell y'all will go because
Speaker 1: has you know, but for real, we're gonna take cumeus
Speaker 1: in out of this because with me, mom talked. What
Speaker 1: I love about mom talking is that it gives content
Speaker 1: for everybody all eat. They are never not able to
Speaker 1: talk about whatever. Say whatever they do the hard ship,
Speaker 1: they will say it on camera. They are aware of
Speaker 1: the camera. You're always watching. They're like, girl, everybody can
Speaker 1: eat off of this one piece of pie. And I
Speaker 1: love that for including us.
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right. We're gonna blog it and we're gonna get.
Speaker 1: We're gonna do a little recap episode or maybe get
Speaker 1: a sponsor. We're gonna talk about it on a live
Speaker 1: or something we're.
Speaker 2: Gonna do with I would love to do that money
Speaker 2: we have to, Yeah, but I think that'd be so good. Yeah,
Speaker 2: I agree, everyone's eating blossoming. I have personally enjoyed Layla
Speaker 2: and seeing her turn the victorious secret this high fashion model.
Speaker 1: I love that had an houricle put out by the cut.
Speaker 1: They're really talking about her finding herself. Yes, yeah, so yeah,
Speaker 1: she's about that. Weave is finally hitting you know, she
Speaker 1: he black stylistles. It's all just for her, nobody. The
Speaker 1: thing is, Jesse's like, Jesse's like, we also love Layla
Speaker 1: and I would have Jesse is like, why didn't you
Speaker 1: tell me? I would have hired this girl in a minute,
Speaker 1: I would have had. I'm a girl and who likes
Speaker 1: making coinies. Okay, she She's like, Leila, I want you
Speaker 1: to feel beautiful. And also did y'all not that after
Speaker 1: they filmed that and she was hugging her, she had
Speaker 1: her come and do one in her salon. Jesse's about
Speaker 1: that pointing black. We'll have one black weave all Yeah,
Speaker 1: what you mean an underserved market for hair? Bad At Hair,
Speaker 1: not jay Z Styles. Shout out to Chase, who's her
Speaker 1: big the ex husband is her new like Billboard, he'd
Speaker 1: just be wearing the sweatshirts around Utah. He's a cute boy.
Speaker 1: So she put a cute sweatshirt on a cue boy
Speaker 1: and be like jay Z Styles, bad at Hair. I
Speaker 1: love when you accept your troll and you know, make
Speaker 1: them do it, make it, make the most of it.
Speaker 2: Capitalized nothing when it became. When the dungeon thing came out,
Speaker 2: she did. She went on tour with that. You know
Speaker 2: what I mean, like.
Speaker 1: As I do it, as I light it again? Happy addie, Hello,
Speaker 1: they're smiling like he's happy Eddy. I mean he not
Speaker 1: right now, but he might.
Speaker 2: Be was because money is gonna support the need for
Speaker 2: commissary because that man.
Speaker 1: He's he's going, he's going, and they gotta do something
Speaker 1: with the inventory. So who are you.
Speaker 2: A happy Eddie? But I love you, But I do.
Speaker 1: Tell you I love you so much that when you go,
Speaker 1: if you do limit the inventory, put on sale and
Speaker 1: I'll buy it. A five dollar pre roll.
Speaker 2: You won't see me, you will is going to support
Speaker 2: this man, and I love that.
Speaker 1: A two pad pre roll for five dollars. Happy, Eddie girl.
Speaker 2: It's having a go awayte sail.

Speaker 1: a waste. I'm about to name this episode going away Sail.
Speaker 2: That's what we're having.

Speaker 1: amount of work as possible? Oh? What you do is
Speaker 1: you get a good your good correspondent, your goodest Judy

Speaker 1: But also, how much of a tyrant do you have
Speaker 1: to be that two different networks can get two completely
Speaker 1: different sets of Humans to make a robust, multi part
Speaker 1: documentary with very little overlap. Yeah, that's not much of
Speaker 1: a tyrant, you are, okay. I loved it. I thought
Speaker 1: it was great. Shout out to E. Felt very vintage,
Speaker 1: old school each U Hollywood story. So me and Mark
Speaker 1: talking about that. Go ahead and listen to that. In
Speaker 1: the weekly mixing the Box and the house sides of
Speaker 1: Beverly Hills and that non starter of a season that
