Speaker 1: Sounds rugg.
Speaker 2: Hello, Hello, Hello, beautiful and wonderful mix ologist out there.
Speaker 2: It is your girl Money, and you're in the mix.
Speaker 2: You're in the mix with Money and Kara. Kara Bury
Speaker 2: from Everyone's Business but Mine the podcast for the girlies
Speaker 2: who watch everything like me. It's a podcast for me,
Speaker 2: it's a podcast for you. Y'all are no strangers to Kara.
Speaker 2: That's why I'm so excited that she is here to
Speaker 2: talk traders with us. Kara, thank you so much for coming.
Speaker 2: How are you good?
Speaker 1: Thank you for having me. I'm happy to talk traders.
Speaker 2: Yeah, oh my god, I could talk traders almost all
Speaker 2: the time. Like in my real life, I work at
Speaker 2: a school, and being a school and being a teacher,
Speaker 2: you rarely get adult conversations. So when you get those
Speaker 2: little snippets, let someone saying anything, and you find out
Speaker 2: that someone else watches the Traders, bitch, that's the moment.
Speaker 2: As I've said, as he got to the like cast
Speaker 2: the Traders meeting, he was like, girl, First of all,
Speaker 2: I love robbing this I love robbing this environment. But
Speaker 2: we will get there. I want to know all of
Speaker 2: your favorites. Who are you vibing with? We all know
Speaker 2: who we're not vibing with, So we're gonna focus on
Speaker 2: the positive. I'm not forgetting that back a lot of
Speaker 2: my or this other black woman's time on my here
Speaker 2: Black podcast, like that man Riding All, Like the success
Speaker 2: off the back of Black Women is so over for me.
Speaker 2: I'm so over it. I don't like it. I never did.
Speaker 2: But we don't even talk about the things about traders
Speaker 2: they give us joy where. I mean, this is a
Speaker 2: silly question because you obviously talk on all the TV
Speaker 2: shows and watch it literally for work, But like, where
Speaker 2: did you start your trader's journey? Are you just one one? Okay? Same?
Speaker 1: I was like, I really you were talking about earlier,
Speaker 1: Like a lot of people don't really like to watch
Speaker 1: these competition shows, you know, season one, we didn't really
Speaker 1: know that. Honestly, those really are a non motherfucking factor.
Speaker 1: To quote the great Tiffany New York Collared. So I
Speaker 1: was in season one like, well, let me just see
Speaker 1: what this is about, and you know, I found the
Speaker 1: format of you know, at the time, it was like
Speaker 1: half normal people, and I thought that was like pretty cool.
Speaker 1: But I mean, was the great moral issues of like
Speaker 1: having queer couples wanting to have this prize money to like,
Speaker 1: you know, grow their family and then be like.
Speaker 2: Oh I haven't won Survivor and all the seven times
Speaker 2: I try, I'm taking this money.
Speaker 1: And I was like, yeah, yeah, I mean, like there
Speaker 1: needed to be a separation of church and state. So
Speaker 1: this does make it a lot funnier and a lot
Speaker 1: more interesting knowing that like everybody you know, like the
Speaker 1: stake sure pretty much on the same Yeah.
Speaker 2: Okay, like they're all.
Speaker 1: Kind of the same level of celebrity from wherever they are,
Speaker 1: so I'm not like, oh my god, this person really
Speaker 1: needs a check, you know, Like, you know, it makes
Speaker 1: it a lot lighter and a lot more fun. And also,
Speaker 1: like I know most of the people you know, save
Speaker 1: for like the big brother the uh Survivor people. But
Speaker 1: in terms of who I'm liking obviously, like I'm a
Speaker 1: candy go gal down bitch.
Speaker 2: This is the season of Candice so much.
Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's such a delight. I love that she's
Speaker 1: dressing like a little old school TWA flight attendant.
Speaker 2: And no, seriously, I have someone that I work with
Speaker 2: who does not do the Bravo doesn't know it but
Speaker 2: knows I love it. But watches Traders like I think
Speaker 2: that you don't even need to be a TV person.
Speaker 2: My gripe was season one of Traders, which I mean,
Speaker 2: if you're gonna binge because you do it, I say
Speaker 2: binge backwards so that one doesn't throw you off and
Speaker 2: you can start and jumping right now because the format
Speaker 2: is great. The thing is that you just need to
Speaker 2: know that the personalities are going to deliver, whether you
Speaker 2: know them or not. And the problem with season one
Speaker 2: is that half of them being on TV because they
Speaker 2: have big personalities and the other half being girlies just
Speaker 2: like running their errands on a normal weekend and doing
Speaker 2: real life stuff like us totally change the vibe like
Speaker 2: it wasn't we didn't know what it could be. I
Speaker 2: think the first season was still great. I think the
Speaker 2: second season was way better and which we got it
Speaker 2: and then third season, fella, we had our rhythm and
Speaker 2: now it feels like we can have a damn good time,
Speaker 2: like a really good time. This is the cast that
Speaker 2: I think I know the most that they've ever had.
Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, like Save your Big Brothers and even Survivors.
Speaker 2: I dabble, I do like Survivor. I know that there's
Speaker 2: a lot of great seasons. I know that there's also
Speaker 2: just like one hundreds, so I'm never getting through that girl.
Speaker 2: But if you know enough, if you know enough people
Speaker 2: from the you know, we TV or something wherever else
Speaker 2: they're getting their check these days, when they come to traders,
Speaker 2: it's like, okay, I can get behind. I at least
Speaker 2: know who I do or don't want to root for.
Speaker 2: Those dynamics might be interesting. That was what I thought
Speaker 2: when I first saw this cast, was Portia and Candace.
Speaker 2: How's that gonna go? Right?
Speaker 1: And it it went a little much better than I thought.
Speaker 2: But like again, Renna and Derenda interesting right.
Speaker 1: Gibson reminded me though, that there was like a rumor
Speaker 1: that I think Candace had unfollowed Portia after this, and
Speaker 1: given what we've seen on the show, it doesn't really
Speaker 1: make sense. They seemed to be Getna go on perfectly fine.
Speaker 1: So that's really confusing. Can't wait for the reunion. Usually
Speaker 1: those are a flop, but I think they're actually this
Speaker 1: one might actually be good.
Speaker 2: Well, this was gonna be good because we are dealing
Speaker 2: with professionals. They have called in the professionals. One thing
Speaker 2: that I can trust any Housewife to do is give
Speaker 2: me a reunion, and of the ones that we have
Speaker 2: when this cast right now, the ones who they will
Speaker 2: invite back, these are all some of the greatest reunion
Speaker 2: makers of our time. I believe we're in. If you
Speaker 2: don't know, now you know, you're in for a tree.
Speaker 2: I think it'll be great. There was one moment, though,
Speaker 2: that I wanted to flag and get your opinion on,
Speaker 2: because there was something in the second episode, no, the
Speaker 2: first episode before Porsche left, when her wits weren't with
Speaker 2: her obviously, and she kept using the wrong words, all
Speaker 2: the wrong words, and claiming responsibility for things she knew
Speaker 2: nothing of. There's some argument, I wonder from you, do
Speaker 2: you think she knew the kind of show she was on?
Speaker 2: Or was it or was it just Freudian slit something
Speaker 2: like you know, the train was underneath the.
Speaker 1: Church, right?
Speaker 2: You know?
Speaker 1: I love Porsche havelf the caveat we do most of
Speaker 1: the time.
Speaker 2: That's my opinion. But I love her.
Speaker 1: I think I don't. I don't you know, really had
Speaker 1: some like legendary dummy moments. So it's hard to like
Speaker 1: not think about that and reference that when we think
Speaker 1: about Porsche. But I do think she is a smart
Speaker 1: girl overall said she did mess up multiple times and
Speaker 1: that it's her own grave, like literally pretty much.
Speaker 2: So we were like, girl, we can't not pick you.
Speaker 2: He literally said we killed them five times, and everyone's
Speaker 2: looking at each other liked, he did I hear that right?
Speaker 2: And she's like, no, yeah, we killed him. Who did
Speaker 2: we kill? Oh? I forgot please please? Yeah.
Speaker 1: This is rough because usually we get to that first
Speaker 1: round table and people are truly going off of nothing
Speaker 1: but vibes or like this person looked at me wrong,
Speaker 1: or this person coughed when I said something. You know,
Speaker 1: this person squinted when I said hello. So for Ron
Speaker 1: to be able to come to the table and be like, oh,
Speaker 1: here's like actual, pretty irrefutable evidence against them, it's rare.
Speaker 2: It is rare. He was just so confident. But something
Speaker 2: I noticed that Candace told Porsche in the O and
Speaker 2: y'all this is a spoiler heavy episode. I put that
Speaker 2: in a description, but just no, we talk into details.
Speaker 2: When Candace and Porsche were in the jeeps on their
Speaker 2: way back to the castle and had a moment of
Speaker 2: Michael Rappaport said let's get a housewife, which we knew
Speaker 2: that wasn't entirely true or what was said, but Candace
Speaker 2: did tell Porsia that. But there was a moment that
Speaker 2: when Porsche then confronted Candace in the kitchen, because Porsche
Speaker 2: is known to be like, you know, I'm gonna ask
Speaker 2: you right now in front of everybody, and did Candace
Speaker 2: was like, oh, you misunderstood. And the way I saw
Speaker 2: Porsche Clockett, she really digested it, and she goes, oh, okay,
Speaker 2: all right, And so I wonder if that is what
Speaker 2: started the deterrence. And I think Porsche helped genuinely like
Speaker 2: betrayed or something by them being on this show or something.
Speaker 2: And that again, did she know the show?
Speaker 1: She was going one interestingly enough that you bring up
Speaker 1: that point specifically because she has done an interview saying
Speaker 1: that she did it that.
Speaker 2: Lying.
Speaker 1: But you know, apparently we've got this like Housewives blood
Speaker 1: oath that's going on on the tree. So she said,
Speaker 1: even though I clocked it, I decided to just like
Speaker 1: let it go because of our you know, Housewives code
Speaker 1: that ended up you know, Renna completely threw under the bus.
Speaker 2: But here we are, girl, it's Renna. That's what I'm
Speaker 2: just like. I love that y'all have a housewives code,
Speaker 2: and the code is y'all will stick up for each
Speaker 2: other because in real lives you're known for not doing that,
Speaker 2: which is legitimately why you are hearing casted on this
Speaker 2: kind of game of betrayal, lying, and all the things.
Speaker 2: Thank you for that constant reminder, Michael Rappaport, first and
Speaker 2: only time I was saying that man's name, I know
Speaker 2: a lot of y'all are waiting out watch. I mean,
Speaker 2: I have a plethora of dms and people like I
Speaker 2: can't give it a watch until that man is gone,
Speaker 2: And I will say it wasn't until the third episode.
Speaker 2: Like I still try to convince people episode one and
Speaker 2: episode two, I get it. He's annoying. Moved past him.
Speaker 2: Candice is adorable in her vintage fashions of like girl,
Speaker 2: what year are you in? But she's serving in confessionals.
Speaker 2: Derinda is a little bit all over the place. Renda
Speaker 2: is not getting on my nerves watching anyway. Then get
Speaker 2: to episode three, and I'm telling you, the fact that
Speaker 2: we once started with a round table meant that we
Speaker 2: had to be abrasively smacked in the face with that
Speaker 2: man first before we even I ain't even get my my,
Speaker 2: my parfait good, my snack good. I really thought we
Speaker 2: were gonna have a moment. But understand, we get Michael
Speaker 2: Rappaport shoving down our faces and here he go, You're
Speaker 2: from New York, and because he's from New York, he
Speaker 2: has to yell at everybody that he is right and
Speaker 2: be abrasive about it, as he tipped he does when
Speaker 2: he goes and watch what Happens live, saying that because
Speaker 2: he's from New York, is to aggressively yell and tell
Speaker 2: mean things about people and call black women names that
Speaker 2: he probably shouldn't. Okay, after that, like, I'm really just
Speaker 2: trying to make sure y'all know when he's no longer
Speaker 2: here that's not to come. And when it does, I
Speaker 2: don't want y'all to only jump in then if it's doable,
Speaker 2: please get past it now if you can, but if
Speaker 2: you can't, I do feel like I understand because, like
Speaker 2: I said, this third episode, he really got on my nerves.
Speaker 2: Kara Bad Bad.
Speaker 1: It's shocking the level of like he can't he has
Speaker 1: no self control. No, he's truly like boss baby, and
Speaker 1: it's in a way that's like this is not just like, oh,
Speaker 1: I'm heightening my personality. I'm like, like, we know that
Speaker 1: Michael Rapp reports a troll, but like I know that
Speaker 1: this isn't him, like actively try control. This is him
Speaker 1: like thinking he's a badass and crashing out every five
Speaker 1: minutes when people do things like question him in any
Speaker 1: former fashion, like you really weird.
Speaker 2: I think it's you. You didn't say to me you
Speaker 2: think it is because I think it's you. Actually, I'm like, okay,
Speaker 2: so you just one of those people that anytime someone
Speaker 2: corrects you will come for you or say something to you.
Speaker 2: All of a sudden, you did it. It's you. You're
Speaker 2: the bad guy. I am the victim. Why, like, why
Speaker 2: does he think it's jammed him? I get some of them,
Speaker 2: but I feel like he's just because dude is on
Speaker 2: his radar, as on his ass as well, and if
Speaker 2: he wasn't on his ass, he wouldn't think it was him.
Speaker 2: It's almost like he's blinded, like he can't see pass
Speaker 2: whomever he thinks he has the person you get out
Speaker 2: to get. But he keeps saying we have to look
Speaker 2: for who's lying and cheating and deceitful. He says it's
Speaker 2: so aggressively that, I mean, it's it's hard to not
Speaker 2: remember that. It's hard to not remember that it's a
Speaker 2: game one and that two like who wants to collaborate
Speaker 2: with you?
Speaker 1: Yeah? Like yeah, yeah, Tiffany, I'm very curious about because
Speaker 1: I don't know her game to either seen on social
Speaker 1: media either people saying this is typical of her to
Speaker 1: like pick the loser or this is like actually her
Speaker 1: game and like she's you know, two steps ahead.
Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out, because
Speaker 1: she was one of the first ones that was like,
Speaker 1: who is this loser? And then suddenly if he's here's
Speaker 1: this big strong man.
Speaker 2: Yeah, she's keeping all close. And he's not big and strong.
Speaker 2: He's just loud. He's just loud. He actually even told us,
Speaker 2: he said that, you know, growing up in New York.
Speaker 2: He was like, I was like, okay, you think you're
Speaker 2: the first white boy to grow up in New York.
Speaker 1: No, because.
Speaker 2: Behind off and told y'all that he too is a
Speaker 2: white boy from New York and he's not yelling at me,
Speaker 2: and that's I'll give that. So the fact that he's
Speaker 2: like it's in this and you either had to fight
Speaker 2: good crap trash talk or play basketball and I could talk.
Speaker 2: So you admit it. You're just loud and talkative, right right.
Speaker 1: And also Timothy Shallow May at least grew up in
Speaker 1: like artist housing. Michael Rappaport grew up basically the same
Speaker 1: places that they filmed Gossip Girl.
Speaker 2: So I don't better get out of here. I did
Speaker 2: not know that. I'm having a real New York moment.
Speaker 2: How like people when they come on my show about
Speaker 2: the D and V and be like, what in the
Speaker 2: hell is going on over there? So this man is
Speaker 2: not like really.
Speaker 1: Up in Flatbush, Brooklyn. He's fine, That's like, no, he
Speaker 1: grew up in the seventies. His dad was like a
Speaker 1: record record radio excuse me, a radio exec.
Speaker 2: My god, that sounds middle class.
Speaker 1: And his momo was like a radio personality.
Speaker 2: Oh, a dual income household. You better get out of here.
Speaker 2: I feel like this man is gaslight in me now.
Speaker 2: And I have an issue with how he always gravitates
Speaker 2: to a black woman. Now you think, Tiffany, that you're
Speaker 2: using him for muscle. That man can't do anything but
Speaker 2: talk loud, and he thinks that because he likes quote
Speaker 2: unquote loves and or fetishizes about black women, whatever you
Speaker 2: want to argue, but he can hide behind him as
Speaker 2: a shield, like he really does use them as a shield.
Speaker 2: He was sad to see Portia go because he loved
Speaker 2: Porsche as a housewife and he wants her to But
Speaker 2: he likes them also as caricatures like his characters, but
Speaker 2: not necessarily as people or as individuals. He's not doing
Speaker 2: ally shit, or he wouldn't. Kenya's feet ask you that time,
Speaker 2: you know, if you be true, and you're not allowed
Speaker 2: to say. And that's always been my point. So this man,
Speaker 2: he gonna get himself kicked out of this show. And
Speaker 2: unfortunately y'all have to tell you if you're not watching it,
Speaker 2: he's still He was in it for far longer than
Speaker 2: I will. You're you're gonna have to wait. You're gonna
Speaker 2: have to be patient, but it's worth it.
Speaker 1: But you'll you'll let them know, You'll let your listeners
Speaker 1: know when we are safe from Michael Rappaport and we
Speaker 1: can see you accordingly.
Speaker 2: He will, he will be gone at some point. He's
Speaker 2: gonna talk himself right off that ledge. And every time
Speaker 2: you can count on that. Every time he's very consistent
Speaker 2: with it. The fashions this season are all over the place,
Speaker 2: depending on who you're looking at and win. But some
Speaker 2: things that's consistent is that everybody has brought some kind
Speaker 2: of new wardrobe for this show, like at least the
Speaker 2: ones of like the girlies who know that this is
Speaker 2: gonna be on p Like they know what Peacock is.
Speaker 2: They know, like they might be invited to Bravo kon
Speaker 2: one day, Like they know these are the real things,
Speaker 2: the upfront things like that.
Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, I'm not super familiar with Maura really love Island,
Speaker 1: but she's really I've got my eye on her. I've
Speaker 1: had several people reach out and say, you need to
Speaker 1: watch her seat they.
Speaker 2: Do tell me. They told me the same thing season two.
Speaker 2: I think it's hers.
Speaker 1: I think it might be season five on I'm not sure. Okay,
Speaker 1: I believe hers is one to watch. I mean, if
Speaker 1: she got the host job, then she's got to be
Speaker 1: as dynamic as Ariana.
Speaker 2: If yep, Okay, I'll watch it, y'all. Because she's she's
Speaker 2: working them outfits. She's a looker. I always thought she
Speaker 2: was gorgeous. I have often found her accent on after
Speaker 2: Sun to be too distracting with the colors. That's just
Speaker 2: UNDERO diversion. I gotta either watching them subtitles or turn
Speaker 2: it off completely. But in these outfits, they're her hair
Speaker 2: and these I'm like, oh, girl, you're dressed. She's dressed,
Speaker 2: And I love that because I also we know that
Speaker 2: there is a lot more personal effort that has to
Speaker 2: be done. This isn't like, you know, we're not Kardashians,
Speaker 2: this isn't Our Housewives, you know, weathering a finale, so
Speaker 2: like Cannas is borrowing people's hair wands because her wand died,
Speaker 2: you know, to get them girls correct. But those girls
Speaker 2: are correct, and I appreciate that commitment. The girls are dressing.
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like the soft spot of drag Race where
Speaker 1: people knew, like, Okay, we do have to spend a
Speaker 1: little bit more coin on our outfits, but we're still
Speaker 1: a community. Like we're still borrowing banana powder, We're still
Speaker 1: you know, helping each other with our outfits. We're borrowing
Speaker 1: a tiera here and a boa here. Like I like
Speaker 1: that sweet spot of like, yes, we're putting an effort,
Speaker 1: but it still seems like pretty organic to the person. No,
Speaker 1: absolutely Erica janeified at some point where, but I'm liking
Speaker 1: this spot.
Speaker 2: I do too thoughts on my baby Monet Exchange being
Speaker 2: on this show because I'm distracted almost every time they
Speaker 2: enter a room because of the pure unmitigated gold to
Speaker 2: put that on on a TV show while all these
Speaker 2: people are wearing jeans, Like, why would you look that good?
Speaker 2: Why are you wearing that fit? Those glasses? What are
Speaker 2: How do you feel about Monet being on this show?
Speaker 1: I'm hoping Monet, well, I'm obviously hoping money makes it
Speaker 1: further than Bob, but I really think that mone is
Speaker 1: going to like take it pretty far. Manette's strong, Like
Speaker 1: Monette stays in the gym, stays posting a gym selfie,
Speaker 1: the shirtless and the abs are like out there to play,
Speaker 1: and so she seems like she is like an all
Speaker 1: around game girl. And plus I'm sure Bob put her
Speaker 1: on big time, So I'm I'm really excited. I think
Speaker 1: she's like top five, top three contender for me.
Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay, I like that purely. Again, on outfits alone,
Speaker 2: I'm just like, Damn Lamar would be so proud, like
Speaker 2: this is a look. The suits are suiting then you
Speaker 2: got someone like Colton, who y'all are not watching for
Speaker 2: Michael Rappaport. I think I just don't care enough about
Speaker 2: Michael to be that bothered by him. Colton bothers me.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I love you know, Colton.
Speaker 2: But okay, and I was about to say, it's kidding.
Speaker 1: Let me tell you what second villain edit behind, well
Speaker 1: not villain edit very close second. Lay are you here?
Speaker 1: Response from the fans because I'm hearing trackers on car
Speaker 1: We're jumping over fences to stock people.
Speaker 2: Yeah, real court problems.
Speaker 1: It doesn't sound good, it seems really.
Speaker 2: I you know, those who've been in mixologis long enough. No,
Speaker 2: I like The Bachelor. I've been watching since I was
Speaker 2: in college, and also at the same time, you know, housewives.
Speaker 2: I don't know how I live two lives. It's difficult,
Speaker 2: but I've committed and I actually sat through and suffered
Speaker 2: through Colton the season. It wasn't that it was so bad.
Speaker 2: It was that he was so awkward. He was the virgin,
Speaker 2: the first virgin Bachelor ever naturally, and then yeah he
Speaker 2: was a virgin. He made the girl really like she
Speaker 2: It was one of the most uncomfortable breakups for situations
Speaker 2: that I had seen because they were breaking up and
Speaker 2: her dad was like, nah, I don't want you to
Speaker 2: marry my daughter, Which boy, did he have the full
Speaker 2: the foresight on that one listen to your parents' friends.
Speaker 2: He like jumps a fence and runs away from the
Speaker 2: villa in the middle of the night because he's being
Speaker 2: rejected it. He's so sad. And this was before the
Speaker 2: stalking situation and allegations occurred, and a lot of people
Speaker 2: are like not watching Traders until Colton is off because
Speaker 2: they're like, I in girl's solitude and I understand solidarity.
Speaker 2: I am not supporting a man who stalked a woman
Speaker 2: and was so like allegedly like aggressively awful and like
Speaker 2: it was it was court like appointed or titled harassment,
Speaker 2: like they they fully went on in on it. And
Speaker 2: his response was basically that's when he came out. So
Speaker 2: people have a really big issue with that. They're timing
Speaker 2: because we're not taking away that you're gay, but we
Speaker 2: are taking away that you can't that you are. That
Speaker 2: doesn't mean you can't be an abusive asshole to women.
Speaker 2: Gay they're gay men that don't like women or mean
Speaker 2: to women. That's possible. Many things can be true. Culton.
Speaker 2: You can like men and still have treated this girl
Speaker 2: terribly when she asked you to leave her alone and
Speaker 2: the course had to get in. But now you're on
Speaker 2: a show always also going after a plant woman. I
Speaker 2: just I need just white boys to fix it here.
Speaker 1: What I've heard about him, I'm finding it a little
Speaker 1: bit surprising that they couldn't find somebody.
Speaker 2: Else, anybody else. Honestly, you could have gotten Nick, you
Speaker 2: could have gotten the vial. Pull him off the mic
Speaker 2: and throw him in here. He's not gonna be any
Speaker 2: more exciting than coldness.
Speaker 1: Give us a few weeks a break from that podcast.
Speaker 2: At least, please give them. Yeah, they need a minute.
Speaker 2: In fact, they should Tom stand of all him and
Speaker 2: send them to Traders to like, you know, air him out.
Speaker 2: It's like a punishment. They send you to banished Tom
Speaker 2: the Traders to sweat it out. You know. Last season
Speaker 2: excellent watch, except if you're sensitive to watching people sweat
Speaker 2: like crazy. Because whatever Sandival was going through last year,
Speaker 2: he was going through it. His all shirts knew that
Speaker 2: he was going through. So this is a great season
Speaker 2: because they nobody sweating like crazy. Nobody is not aware
Speaker 2: that they're on TV and they need to also dress
Speaker 2: the part. We don't just have a small group of traders.
Speaker 2: We have our original, our first three traders, you know,
Speaker 2: our first set of traders, which I actually thought we're
Speaker 2: a good I liked this pick of the core Lisa Rena,
Speaker 2: who's duh, almost like in Beverly Hills. Kick her off
Speaker 2: on Traders. Sign her up. You should absolutely have Lisa
Speaker 2: Rena as a trader or you're doing it wrong. And
Speaker 2: I think that they understood that assignment. She's a trader.
Speaker 2: Canice Dillon Bassett is a trader and Rob from Love
Speaker 2: Island season six, which is my favorite season so far
Speaker 2: of USA. And that boy, he was so right. People
Speaker 2: really think that he was saying it's a flex that
Speaker 2: girls think he's aloof or don't understand he He's like, no, babes,
Speaker 2: I'm so deadpan and I could do this job. And
Speaker 2: boy is he cooking. He's right, is giving off a thing? Yeah,
Speaker 2: he's had a play a faithful.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I forgot his homeboy. Aaron was on Traders himself,
Speaker 1: you know, put him up on game.
Speaker 2: He's like, oh you can do this and he's like, yes, yeah,
Speaker 2: I play Rob excited about this than any girl on
Speaker 2: Love Island in the season he was on.
Speaker 1: For real, Yeah, I you know, he was certainly not
Speaker 1: my favorite by any stretch of the imagine on Love Island,
Speaker 1: but you know, his probably everything that I hated about
Speaker 1: him on Love Island is probably going to serve him
Speaker 1: very well on the show.
Speaker 2: Absolutely exactly how I feel. So he I think this
Speaker 2: first set of Traders is doing pretty pretty well. I
Speaker 2: like the way they work together. Candice is having a blast.
Speaker 2: He's working so well with others. I'm so proud of her.
Speaker 2: Motherhood is just so tea for her. I'm just like, see,
Speaker 2: I told y'all be a Candace, be a fan of
Speaker 2: I'm so happy she's back on our TV. I think
Speaker 2: she's doing well. I think she's a little nervous, but
Speaker 2: she's so cute and having a good time and they
Speaker 2: really don't suspect her, so that's really good they you know.
Speaker 2: I think even the one of the gamers that they
Speaker 2: sent home after just get rid of Porsche for no
Speaker 2: damn reason. One of the gamers they sent home, Rob c.
Speaker 2: He was like he went to Candice and thought he
Speaker 2: could trust in her. Like something's happening. She's like, oh
Speaker 2: my god, now you know I'm working. Girl. I love
Speaker 2: how they're not talking to each other too much out
Speaker 2: in the streets or in the forest. They are really
Speaker 2: waiting until they have their meeting, to which again Rob
Speaker 2: can be like, girl, and I mean, I died. I
Speaker 2: just I'm so happy that they're feeling successful and that
Speaker 2: they got through the big Trader, which spoiler alert and
Speaker 2: shocking surprise to me, there's a trader's trader, like a
Speaker 2: all knowing trader that gets to decide who traders had
Speaker 2: to pick from up until now when they got this
Speaker 2: giant trader out. Even the three traders who we think
Speaker 2: were dealing with, they don't know who this you know,
Speaker 2: Capital T Trader is. They don't know where this is
Speaker 2: coming from. They're trying to figure it out and be
Speaker 2: discrete and inconspicuous, and this trader is trying to be inconspicuous,
Speaker 2: And baby, how did you feel about this damn trader
Speaker 2: being none other than Mama Donna Kelsey? Did you call it?
Speaker 2: When did you call it? Because I feel like that
Speaker 2: answer is yes, because I think a lot of people did.
Speaker 2: And then how do you feel about it? They're making
Speaker 2: it her.
Speaker 1: I think in terms of making it her was the
Speaker 1: smartest choice in terms of just like how much physicality
Speaker 1: goes into being on this show, Like it does not
Speaker 1: make sense for her to continue and do these not
Speaker 1: do the half the things that they do. So I'm
Speaker 1: not really sure.
Speaker 2: I'm not making it up the driveway, but go ahead, right.
Speaker 1: Because they do like actually physically taxing activities. I clocked
Speaker 1: it it first when they pulled out the first short
Speaker 1: list of people to murder and they showed the handwriting,
Speaker 1: and I thought, the handwriting really gives older woman and
Speaker 1: who else would it have been if not for Donna.
Speaker 1: I like the element of having a secret trader, for
Speaker 1: the fact of I find the whole post round table,
Speaker 1: we banish somebody and then they go up in that
Speaker 1: circle and tell whether or not they're a trader or faithful.
Speaker 1: I always find that so boring because we, as the audience,
Speaker 1: already know who it is. So like, I don't really
Speaker 1: care about your Rairo speech, like thirty second, thirty second,
Speaker 1: thirty seconds. It does y'all hooton and holler, and I
Speaker 1: truly don't care at all, But I did like the
Speaker 1: stake of also not knowing who it was, I'm like, okay,
Speaker 1: well this makes it a lot more interesting for me.
Speaker 2: Yeah, Fannie gave me the Traders are really hard a
Speaker 2: lot more harder tasks because they had to not only
Speaker 2: keep themselves a secret, but have to hide the fact
Speaker 2: that they're looking for a bigger trader than nobody else
Speaker 2: knows about really but.
Speaker 1: Them, right right, And I like that. So yeah, I
Speaker 1: like that element. But I think, you know, had it not,
Speaker 1: had Donna not been on this cast, I think it
Speaker 1: would have made it more interesting because like a lot
Speaker 1: of people have already been like, if you look at
Speaker 1: that Throne challenge, we don't see Donna in that Throne Challenge.
Speaker 1: We don't think she did that. There's no evidence, there's
Speaker 1: no receipts, there's no footage of her having been there.
Speaker 1: If we could have somebody who is like a little
Speaker 1: bit more capable and was gonna last longer, I think
Speaker 1: it would have been more interesting. But I like it.
Speaker 1: I like it.
Speaker 2: Well, who asked? Did Donna ask to be on Traders
Speaker 2: so she can hang out with all her favorite celebrities
Speaker 2: or meet them? Or did they ask Donna? Because I
Speaker 2: can't figure out why they would ask Donna to be honest, like,
Speaker 2: that's not even no shade. It might sound shady, and
Speaker 2: if it is, that's just the name of the game.
Speaker 2: But Jason, why they would ask Donna. But I can
Speaker 2: see that because Donna does love all the I mean,
Speaker 2: Donna's me. If I was at the Trader's house, I'd
Speaker 2: be going nuts. She's like, if I like, I am
Speaker 2: being really like with Tron or like reserved, it's because
Speaker 2: I'm freaking out about all and I'm a Trader, Like
Speaker 2: that's why. But she is. She's freaking out about all
Speaker 2: of them, which is a great.
Speaker 3: Excuse if you're me, but if you're the mom of
Speaker 3: Taylor Swift and in real life, I've had to explain
Speaker 3: that to people because they did not understand.
Speaker 2: They were like, why is she acting so crazy? It
Speaker 2: was like, because she's starstruck. They were like her soon
Speaker 2: to be daughter in law's Taylor Swift. I said, you
Speaker 2: don't understand. You're not a Housewives fan. It's a different
Speaker 2: kind of star struck. Right when you watch the TV shows,
Speaker 2: all of them, the reality girlies, Traders is that would
Speaker 2: be like, I'd die if I was in the room.
Speaker 2: I want to go to the ring in Bad Bad.
Speaker 1: She did kill me though, when she was telling the
Speaker 1: group that she basically had imposter syndrome and they were like, oh,
Speaker 1: but you're America's mom and she was like, yeah.
Speaker 3: I know.
Speaker 1: And I've had the same conversation with Paul McCartney when
Speaker 1: we were at the super Bowl and they're like, girl.
Speaker 2: Shut up up. Not to mention. It's like a Manning,
Speaker 2: like one of the Mannings, like parents. It's like girl. Also,
Speaker 2: they've been like Jason Kelsey is retired from being a
Speaker 2: super Bowl winner, like they've been around for a little bit,
Speaker 2: Billy getting Mama, Donna Obama, Kelsey Kelsey brothers for a bit.
Speaker 1: I mean, she's not my mama, but she's somebody.
Speaker 2: She's definitely not my minest matriarch Tina. No, it was
Speaker 2: always and forever. Let me make that very clear. The
Speaker 2: book is very good. I'm listening to it on audiobook
Speaker 2: after reading it and leaving it on the shelf so
Speaker 2: no one will touch. Okayen that lady got some good jeans.
Speaker 2: She's so she birthed some perfect kids. Let me tell you.
Speaker 2: So that's my matriarch. But I could ever I'm glad,
Speaker 2: y'all like Donna Kelsey being on this show. I thought
Speaker 2: it was a poor decision. From the moment we started.
Speaker 2: I was like, this isn't great. But then when she
Speaker 2: took her box and she said, oh, I'm ready to
Speaker 2: play that game, I was like, Oh, she the trader right.
Speaker 2: So when they when when it wasn't her, I was shocked.
Speaker 2: But when they were like it's a secret trade, I
Speaker 2: said it must be done because she get to do
Speaker 2: it from the comfort of her own home. She can
Speaker 2: do it from the hotel room that they stay at.
Speaker 2: You know, you don't have to you know, shrek back
Speaker 2: and forth to the castle because y'all know they don't
Speaker 2: live there. That's so crazy. They get up and go
Speaker 2: get your glam done early and go to work. Okay,
Speaker 2: it does feel like this is the elite version of
Speaker 2: like marriage boot camp. This is higher quality reality tease
Speaker 2: marriage boot camp. This is where you're going to send
Speaker 2: the people who may or may not be good on
Speaker 2: another show, who are in between jobs or shows right now,
Speaker 2: or we're trying to get their job back at Candice
Speaker 2: rent a everybody. But I actually think they're doing a
Speaker 2: really good job at getting it. So would you can
Speaker 2: rent her her diamondback base. No, just never that. Do
Speaker 2: you don't think it could save the show a little bit?
Speaker 2: I know I sound crazy, but I just feel like,
Speaker 2: if we're gonna give it to Tamra, I don't ever
Speaker 2: do to me.
Speaker 1: You know, I really don't know what would help Beverly
Speaker 1: Hills at this point, like absolutely just giving up.
Speaker 2: Okay, you know, like my BRA's off.
Speaker 1: I'm in the.
Speaker 2: Did you hear the rumor? Shout out to reality to
Speaker 2: recap she heard a roamer that they're thinking of putting
Speaker 2: Beverly Hills to pasture and not Ossie.
Speaker 1: I would not be surprised about that, and I actually
Speaker 1: had that independently. I thought was very strange that they
Speaker 1: debuted this season. How many episodes do we get? Three
Speaker 1: episodes before they took that holiday break and then they
Speaker 1: dumped them back with the premiere of The Traders and
Speaker 1: the premiere of The Valley. It just feels like they
Speaker 1: don't really care about the promotion of the show and
Speaker 1: pushing the show like usually back in the day, we
Speaker 1: used to be inundated with like forty Beverly Hills teasers.
Speaker 1: They could put a commercial.
Speaker 2: I still remember them Kyle stepping out of that thing
Speaker 2: and like being like it was like icy on the
Speaker 2: ground when she stepped out of a truck. When it
Speaker 2: went from like, I was like, Oh they're pack Oh
Speaker 2: my girls are back, They're no more. You're so right.
Speaker 2: I'm watching the Valley person. I am, I'm watching Traders.
Speaker 2: I'm I'm catching up on Beverly Hills. It does seem
Speaker 2: and I'm doing it for work, like I'm doing it
Speaker 2: because y'all listening to these as and then you're booking
Speaker 2: me for these things. What is y'all's excuse? That's really
Speaker 2: the question. I don't think they're having a nice time.
Speaker 2: And so maybe I just thought maybe Renna could help
Speaker 2: us a little bit. I just think she might push
Speaker 2: us alone because maybe this Trader's format is making me
Speaker 2: see her in a fresh light, because I actually like
Speaker 2: her as a trader, and I like her on this show.
Speaker 2: And I don't remember ever having this experience of likability
Speaker 2: with Renna, you know what I.
Speaker 1: Mean so many Yeah, she's not for me as a housewife,
Speaker 1: but I want some authenticity and I fear like last
Speaker 1: we saw Rena, she was just playing games like real bad.
Speaker 2: Well, yeah, she definitely did say I'm also here for me.
Speaker 2: So yeah, so okay, all right, well never I forgot
Speaker 2: that's a selfish lady. But I do like there right
Speaker 2: now that they did make a pack that's traders to
Speaker 2: not be betray each other. That was important to me
Speaker 2: because I think that really took us out of last season,
Speaker 2: when the Traders are turning on each other is no
Speaker 2: longer fun. So I like that they're all vibing, meshing.
Speaker 2: I hope Renna don't disappoint me, That's what I'll.
Speaker 1: Say, because now I'm constantly hoping that.
Speaker 2: Made of Beverly Hills every Thursday. So yeah, y'all, y'all
Speaker 2: know what I'm watching on Thursdays, and I mean most
Speaker 2: of us are. And if you're not, let me know
Speaker 2: what you are watching. Oh, Kara, before I let you go,
Speaker 2: what else are you watching? What else are you covering?
Speaker 2: Like to know where people are watching? I know you
Speaker 2: cover it all. But what is bringing you joy right now?
Speaker 2: Like what's your what's your?
Speaker 1: What is bringing me joy right now is actually the
Speaker 1: Sister Wives have just begun their tell all portion of
Speaker 1: the season, and they're really delivering in a way that
Speaker 1: they have not in Tell All history for them. Where
Speaker 1: we were talking about things that like haven't really been
Speaker 1: discussed on the show, but we know have been going
Speaker 1: on in the background. So I'm loving that, and I
Speaker 1: am really liking the Valley Persian style, and I gotta
Speaker 1: say I'm also really liking Vanda proper rules.
Speaker 2: Really. Okay, you're my first one to say it, but
Speaker 2: I trust Kara more than anything on the TV things
