Well really we were talking about how we Drew said she might be homeless. Listen, if you're watching Housewilves of Atlanta like we are, you saw in the very first episode, Drew got a man on the phone and a man in the basement. Okay, to some accounts, she might be winning by the you know, the standards of Atlanta.

2:07 Speaker 1: She might be doing well. She got two men, one on the phone, one in the basement. However, apparently Ralph could be moving up to the top floor that from the basement pretty soon. He moving on up while Drew is supposedly moving on out. Allegedly, the judge says she got a dip by win.

2:29 Speaker 1: That's like really soon. Yeah, to pack those bags and those children's bags, where's she gonna go?

2:37 Speaker 2: Actually, the children bags will not be packed because Ralph was awarded full physical custody, so he lost physical custody. They share joint legal custody so they're still able to both make decisions about you know, schools, they go to Methans. But he was awarded to full physical custody, so hevencause the.

3:06 Speaker 2: Well, the judge, it seems like, and you know, reading the paperwork is had it with Drew. The reason he was awarded a full physical custody is because Drew. While they were in full custody care of Drew, both children had school tardiness. And I know mine ain't gonna like this, but they had school tardiness of old redn't like that plus tardy.

3:34 Speaker 1: Yes, no, that's a why I don't like that. I'm sorry. The teachers y'all don't know parents. I know y'all do y'all best. So it's a little bit different than you know, you know, traffic and this and that. But the school systems of public schools or whatever, well, teachers do not. We do put it in our teacher group chats like we're just confused as to watch so and so is late this many days of the week, like the news. I don't we don't want to deal with that. I can with the tarties.

4:04 Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, so they you know, tarties in school, but not only in school, it's also with counseling. So she's supposed to be part of their order is the kids are supposed to visit a therapist, go to counseling. And there was also excessive absences, you know, troubles scheduling counseling sessions because Drew was not taking them.

4:34 Speaker 2: So the therapist actually wrote a letter too, like a warning letter, and she didn't take key to it. They continue to miss So it seems like at this point the judge is teaching her a lesson.

4:46 Speaker 1: No for real, and that actually is really disappointing to hear you say that those are things that are that benefit the children. The children should be coming first when you're dealing with this, at least if that's what you're saying. You know what I'm saying. She's like, oh, it's about my kids, It's about my But then why aren't the kids getting to school and to counseling and the things that help them be successful while they're in this transition of their parents splitting up, because that is a really big thing for kids, especially of the ages that she has, because her kids are not super old, they're pretty young.

5:17 Speaker 2: No, they're really young. And she has an older son that she does not share with Ralph. We've seeing him on the show and his other father try to be a part of his life, and she was asking Ralph to adopt her son, which he didn't because he felt like his father, his biological father, was still trying to be in his life and he didn't want it that those rights away wait him.

5:42 Speaker 1: I remember respecting heavily of the time. I said that the only redeeming quality Ralph had back when we were watching him. He might be a terrible husband, but it seems that as far as on the father front, he takes the title and the role seriously. And you know, in respects what also is best for the child, and what is best for the child is that if his father is trying to be in his life, that should be honored and acknowledged too. The child should be able to have both options. I'm so mad at Drew for this.

6:10 Speaker 1: Right now, she's still on my nerves. I'm not gonna lie. It's not given to me the way it should.

6:17 Speaker 2: Yeah, And I just feel like if you were at a point where you know it could be she's traveling, she's doing movies, why not have arrangements, man or if you couldn't afford the arrangements of a nanny or drive, et cetera, put your pride aside and have your areas and Ralph's lawyers and say, you know what, I need his help and I know some.

6:38 Speaker 1: People need to get to the things. It should not even be all on you. That's the whole point is that it should take two present parents, both wanting to do this for you know, to make it work for their kids. And I just feel like you dropped the ball because you wanted to carry it all on your own and be in full control. But you can't do And that's okay, that's not that was supposed to be. If you can't afford a nanny, which if you can't afford a place to live by May thirtieth, then maybe you can't afford a nanny.

7:10 Speaker 1: But you can't afford whatever that app is that plenty of parents, regular Davila parents use to communicate with each other about the kids and never talk to each other at all.

7:21 Speaker 2: Yeah, if they have the APP. They talked about that in the last season. Was the problem they have the app? It goes through the judge they have you know that way community. I have no idea why she let it get this far, And I know some people may be wondering, Well, Ralph was right in the basement. Why couldn't he help take them to school because he wasn't allowed to come upstairs like he couldn't. If he did that, he would be violating the temporary order that was in place at that time that has now been reversed where he has the full custody.

7:54 Speaker 2: He kind of needed to for her to fail so he could get Yes. Right now, he was awarded that he can go upstairs and help them get ready for school until she's out, until she has to be out by May thirty.

8:11 Speaker 2: Honest, just my thoughts, the allegations of my thoughts. I feel like Drew wanted to keep full physical custody because neither one of them are getting child support. So if she kept full physical custody through the end of the divorce, then she would have a leg up to get some type of money from him that could maybe help her stay in a home and afford that home. Because looking at the paperwork, it's said that she brings in a monthly income. I don't know she hid money money or or money or what, but she says that she's only making a little over twelve thousand a month, while Ralph brings in a little over twenty two thousand a month.

They do use some kids.

Thank you, mister Dora. But let me tell you we're watching a grand opening. But Kelly addressed the grand closing of same similar location after also telling us that it took her like one hundred k to get the establishment just like the rent paid up to date, not even open, just the back pay of the rent right, and so she can operate in the space.

From that lack of visibility on main shopping center scientige to ongoing limitations and executing at the creative concepts, the environment made it difficult to operate at the level I expect from my brand. When a space doesn't allow you to show up fully or move at the base of your standards, difficult decisions have to be made, and closing that location was one of them.

19:19 Speaker 1: I also want to be clear, while I remain focused on building a legacy for my daughters and family. There have been assumptions and commentary that attempt to frame this as a quote unquote downfall that is simply not the reality. This is my real life and that location represented a significant investment of time, resources, energy and belief. Maybe they should have been doing the same show aside. I show up fully for what I build, and I expect the same in return. This is not a set back, it's a reset, and I move with pure intention.

I'm gonna go ahead and help you, but I also want you to help me too, not picky dollar for bankruptcy.

It seemed like when she started the business she was putting things in her name, not in the business name. She had the wrong people hired, so she says, and she was in debt, millions of dollars in that in debt. She lost the business and then brought it back within forty one days of losing it.

24:39 Speaker 1: She lost she lost soul ownership, so there was something that was going on. I remember when she lost the ownership. It was in some like you know, like neighborhood Talk and some other like you know, the Black the Street, the Street, the ones like you know, ears to the streets, right, especially because it's interesting because her and Derek also the owner of Big Days Stakes, which is arguably slutty vegan and Big daves Estakes are the two most successful pop up brands in Atlanta ever, most sustainable, Like you could go any Sunday, well, I think when we went to Big Daves it was a two and a half hour line on like a Sunday at ten am, Like it was really crazy, and they being together, they did a lot of philanthropy work together, and then I guess fell in love with something because twenty nineteen is when they got together doing the things in the streets, and they were both very, very big and very like it was like a big deal that they were doing stuff for Atlanta, especially doing Black Lives Matter and all these things.

25:33 Speaker 1: It's so when Pinky lost her business for a little bit, it was it was around because it was like, oh God, no longer black owned, and oh because you know, also the reckonings of all the things were happening at that time. People were exposing a lot of businesses that were no longer completely black owned, like I think Camilla Rose, like the hair brand was one of them, Like a shame moisture was one of them, Like it was Slutty Vegan. People were like, oh my god. And Pinky was like, I swear to God, I'll get my business back.

26:01 Speaker 1: Don't you play with me. I'm gonna go ahead and be about that. I it's interesting to me because she was due. I think she's another one who had a big hit and financial decisions and financial choices not something in her wheelhouse necessarily, be it from trusting the wrong people or not trusting people and thinking you can do it or figure it out yourself, and it growing bigger beyond you. I remember thinking and people wondering expecting like is it too big for just you know what I mean, like for one person to handle in that regard like her having such a big trendy, At what point do you sit back and like you do the one thing and let somebody else do the other thing, like the business component, instead of you trying to do all of it, because that's usually when we see things kind of go awry, and whether that's you know, everybody buys a house in the trust that's named after the business.

27:01 Speaker 1: But the only problem with that is because that's not the first house. Why she's she's not the first one to do that. The only problem with that is when that business or whatever goes to court or gets in trouble if they own that house, that house and whatnot also gets you know, up for grabs, up into it's a it's a it's a it's an anybody game. Okay, And we saw that house this week. It's a beautiful home. Her and Derek are very in it. But it also makes me, you know, confused a bit about the dynamics of their relationship to not saying that her financial woes are his financial woes.

27:38 Speaker 1: But you are married now to the other big restaurant tour of Atlanta and you even said y'all don't have no prenup. So my thing is like, why do you I'm just confused as to what what are y'all? What are you doing alone? And what are you not doing alone? Because if y'all not have no prenup? But then for you to also say to him like you don't know what I've been going through, like I've been lonely. The separation kind of makes me like is it so that he doesn't get hurt too or he has your business to fall back on or you well whatever.

28:23 Speaker 2: She support him while also dealing with her own stuff and being sad and down in him. How does he be there for her while still celebrating his wins that he's been working so hard for you?

28:38 Speaker 1: Have your wife make a vegan cheese steak that's a limited time only in lt O at big days with the lines around the corner, and you have Pinky come and give him out, and a percentage of those proceeds. Goal was to pay her debt tours. However many because that can be tracked. However many slutty vegan cheese steaks are sold, those ones can go solely to the debtors or whatever, the creditors, the house lean, the business bankruptcy, whatever like collab combine. Don't just soap by yourself and whatever and expect him to get it.

29:14 Speaker 1: And then he's such a man. He didn't make me roll my eyes. At one point he was like, I was there for you as much as I could handle being there for you. I was like, oh my god, what a response. I was there for you.

So it does bag the question of what you said, how much did she share with him, how much did he know? Did she try to shield him and keep his answers and stuff separate because of you know, him going him going up and up, and her trying to fight to get her business back.

29:44 Speaker 1: It's definitely was the pride involved, because yes, lady has been around for a long time and she's fought back from the ashes more than once again. Her New York one was popping pop and popping burnt down gone. She had to rebuild from scratch in Atlanta like she's done it before. But it doesn't mean you had to do it alone. So it just makes me wonder what kind of partnership you have in marriage, because you know, for you to say we always bounce back better, but he is thriving and you're losing your house.

30:13 Speaker 1: I'm concerned because I didn't know you was married to this man honestly through the other big success, you know what I mean. It's like a it's giving, like if Tyler Perry and Kim Kardashian were married and Kim go belly up loses her jet and Tyler's just like, damn, that sucks. She lost her jet, y'all, but she can always take mine anytime she wont That's not really how I would have expected to.

30:52 Speaker 2: Residence, like it was another property, a rental property, home that she owns that she had a tenant that was supposed to be moving in, and they came and put that lock on it and tried to take what she was rewarded it back because she had filed for bankruptcy and that once you know, you filed for bankruptcy, they wasn't supposed to do that, so she was, Yeah.
