Speaker 1: Sounds Struts.
Speaker 2: Oh Hello, Hello, Hello, beautiful and wonderful mixologists out there.
Speaker 2: It is your girl Moni, and you are back in
Speaker 2: the mix with Money, the show that combines all the
Speaker 2: things from the hot topics that you're scrolling about, the
Speaker 2: shows that you're watching.
Speaker 3: If it's in your group chat, odds are.
Speaker 2: I'm gonna talk about it because it's in mine too,
Speaker 2: And this is basically my life group chat. These are
Speaker 2: the people that care. It is you, guys, and it
Speaker 2: is the Mixologist. And that's why I'm here yet again,
Speaker 2: ready to shoot the shit, talk shit, and literally deep
Speaker 2: dive into the shows that I'm watching that have been
Speaker 2: making me go what the fuck like all week about
Speaker 2: humans and their actions and behaviors, and literally so excited
Speaker 2: to introduce my guest here today who is gonna help
Speaker 2: me do all of those things.
Speaker 3: She's literally an experienced people peopling either too hard or
Speaker 3: not hard enough week to week. Her name is Van.
Speaker 3: She is the host of the Best Week Ever podcast.
Speaker 2: Which is quite literally one of the most fun podcasts
Speaker 2: I've been on this year because one thing I love
Speaker 2: to do is clock and judge how people are spending
Speaker 2: their times and their lives. And that is pretty much
Speaker 2: what she is able to do on her show, Van
Speaker 2: Welcome to the Mix, How are you?
Speaker 4: Oh my god? Mony that was so I need to
Speaker 4: have a recording of that and put that in my
Speaker 4: introductions for my podcast because it was so great. Thank you.
Speaker 4: I'm so excited, so hard.
Speaker 2: I'm so happy to have you. I, Like I said,
Speaker 2: I love being on your show because we you know,
Speaker 2: you have a whole production of who is having the
Speaker 2: best week, the worst week?
Speaker 3: Runners up?
Speaker 2: Like it really makes you think, especially as we purveyors
Speaker 2: of pop culture right, people who really engage with it
Speaker 2: and different way we are of an elite status of
Speaker 2: people who don't just passively enjoy the news. We engage
Speaker 2: with what it is that the people are doing that
Speaker 2: we like to.
Speaker 3: Watch, and we have thoughts and opinions.
Speaker 2: And so I love coming on your show to be like, no,
Speaker 2: who really is having not the best week, but not
Speaker 2: a terrible week, the better week than maybe even last week,
Speaker 2: which might be a glow up for them, in which.
Speaker 3: Case they could be potentially having the best week.
Speaker 2: Ever, as far as things go, we don't know everything.
Speaker 2: Week to week, things change. I'm sure in your line
Speaker 2: of work you've seen.
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I feel like my listeners probably think I'm
Speaker 4: really flip floppy, very much like Alicia. But as I
Speaker 4: always say, every week, it's our opinions. I scream it
Speaker 4: in the rooftop of like who's having the best and
Speaker 4: worst week? It's not like a basis on what it
Speaker 4: says online. Is just like who I'm chatting with that
Speaker 4: week and what I believe to be my best and
Speaker 4: what you believe to be your worst or best as well.
Speaker 4: So it's it's fun to sometimes there's a rebuttal, you know,
Speaker 4: a bit of a day, but I like it. It's
Speaker 4: a conversation, you know.
Speaker 3: Right right, and listen.
Speaker 2: These people are doing the things for our public consumption,
Speaker 2: in which case we are allowed to go, oh, not
Speaker 2: a good look for you, or okay, yes, level blow
Speaker 2: up much better than before for you. It's some of
Speaker 2: the give us a little sneak peak of what it
Speaker 2: is that you're thinking about for this weekuse I know
Speaker 2: your week to week. You have weekly episodes, so y'all
Speaker 2: go ahead and check out the Best Week Ever podcast.
Speaker 3: With man who is having, in your opinion, the best
Speaker 3: week ever? This week?
Speaker 4: Well, I can give you my bravo and what's going
Speaker 4: to be on this week? For like my episode, but
Speaker 4: my best week ever winter, I had to give it
Speaker 4: to Heidi Klume at the Meggala it up. I really
Speaker 4: do think that she followed the rules of putting fashion
Speaker 4: into art and she is great on costuming.
Speaker 3: So.
Speaker 4: And she and probably Bad Bunny was the only one
Speaker 4: that really thought outside the box of being an artist
Speaker 4: and putting it into the red carpet. Now, there were
Speaker 4: some looks, but other than that, yeah, No, Heidi Kluon
Speaker 4: really made me, kidd.
Speaker 3: I think so too.
Speaker 2: And you know what, it makes sense because it's not
Speaker 2: just that a lot of people looked good at the Magdala,
Speaker 2: but not enough to look great. I mean Sierra Miller,
Speaker 2: she looked great. They're one people that had a lot
Speaker 2: of It's blue. Ivy I actually thought looked even better
Speaker 2: than her mom. And that's really hard for me because
Speaker 2: I'm an og beehive, I'm an old hen beehiber. But
Speaker 2: like it was the first time that I was like, day,
Speaker 2: I don't know if I love Beyonce's look as much
Speaker 2: as I understand it.
Speaker 3: But I loved her daughter's. But I was like, what
Speaker 3: does that mean? A new Supreme okay, but Heighty and
Speaker 3: Bad Bunny.
Speaker 2: I didn't know who was who they were when they
Speaker 2: were there, and that is fun. They took it and
Speaker 2: they went and had fun with it. So it's one
Speaker 2: thing to look good, it's another thing to like eat
Speaker 2: it up.
Speaker 3: You know. They took that challenge head on and really
Speaker 3: had a good night.
Speaker 2: I would say even Haddie Kluhm was definitely in there
Speaker 2: for me, and then Bad Bunny was definitely gonna be
Speaker 2: probably my actual best week ever because he also ran
Speaker 2: into his ex's mom, Chris Jenner at the Met Gala,
Speaker 2: and apparently it went off swimmingly. There's no bad blood.
Speaker 2: Chris still loves him naturally because he's very rich and
Speaker 2: famous and the most successful global pop star like ever,
Speaker 2: so she would not hate him. But I just loved
Speaker 2: that that, like he ate up the show, shut down
Speaker 2: the red carpet. Everybody's talking about him when he's not
Speaker 2: a woman, which historically for the Met Gala we like
Speaker 2: to look at the girlies and see what they're wearing
Speaker 2: and talk about them.
Speaker 3: No, we're talking a lot about little Benito.
Speaker 2: I love that for him, and he had no bad blood,
Speaker 2: but he had a great night.
Speaker 4: Yeah, I forget that he was a co chair and
Speaker 4: also I want to put a highlight on like I know,
Speaker 4: there is like a versus of whether or not influencers
Speaker 4: should be allowed to be in the Met Gala, like
Speaker 4: Alla TikTok influencers or bloggers. Emma Chamberlain, I think was
Speaker 4: the only influencer and probably only besides you know Heidi
Speaker 4: Klum that took her fashion as art and knew what
Speaker 4: to bring into the red carpet. And that girl literally
Speaker 4: surprises me every time. I think we need to keep
Speaker 4: more of an eye on her. I know she was
Speaker 4: interviewing I think last year for the Met Gala, and
Speaker 4: this time this year she was invited and she was
Speaker 4: being interviewed and her look I think as an artist
Speaker 4: view was one of my favorites as well.
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, now her dress is absolutely stunning. It's very
Speaker 2: homage to a Starry Night by Vincent van Go. It
Speaker 2: is a muglair dress that is stunning and apparently it
Speaker 2: took about forty hours to create in four days to dry.
Speaker 3: It was hand painted. This is fashion, This is all right.
Speaker 2: Hello, and this is the time to do it. Oscar
Speaker 2: Fashion's biggest night is the Oscars.
Speaker 3: But if you know what you're doing.
Speaker 2: Style, a moment, a look, a whole opportunity to do
Speaker 2: an experience fashion and bring people on that journey with
Speaker 2: you is the meg Gala. It's literally the art, girls,
Speaker 2: it's for the arts, like put on the.
Speaker 3: Art for the arts, and she did that.
Speaker 1: You're right, damn, Emma, And this is such a This
Speaker 1: is such a great segue for my worst week because
Speaker 1: after saying all of that, yes, that's why the met
Speaker 1: Gala is the fundraising of the arts.
Speaker 4: Worstweek ever, Lauren Sanchez, because what do you mean?
Speaker 5: What do you mean.
Speaker 4: You like put in ten million dollars funding into this
Speaker 4: art and you come in into an everyday looking dress
Speaker 4: that we've seen you wear over and over and over before.
Speaker 4: It's just like, I know she wanted to like be quiet,
Speaker 4: but like you might as well.
Speaker 3: Then you didn't have to walk the red babes.
Speaker 2: If you want to be there exactly, just be a chair,
Speaker 2: you know, if you're gonna represent the Amazon, Like a
Speaker 2: shout out to Priscilla Kavanaugh. It's peacav on Instagram and everything,
Speaker 2: who did a remarkable.
Speaker 3: Reel of Lauren Sanchez and like we were like she.
Speaker 2: Went through the Amazon like a ass jet, which one
Speaker 2: should Her dress looked like it came from Prime. It
Speaker 2: really really did like it really didn't look like anything spectacular.
Speaker 2: It looked at something that any of us could get,
Speaker 2: which I'm sure Amazon every Day Fashion is the brand. Yes,
Speaker 2: that is technically what it is that you that's your look,
Speaker 2: that's your fashion house, Amazon warehouse. But this is the
Speaker 2: Meccala honey bunches. You can't get what did Anna winter
Speaker 2: a proof that did she say? Yeah, let's go ahead
Speaker 2: and get the same day shipping dress. Let's kick that
Speaker 2: brown paper bag dress. Like to know that what I
Speaker 2: wear to the Meggallan when you wear the Megala. Both
Speaker 2: came in a paper bag with like a broken arrow.
Speaker 3: It's crazy to me.
Speaker 4: I think you're onto something because I think I've seen
Speaker 4: her dress after she appeared with it. Yes, because this
Speaker 4: was what Monday. We're on Wednesday. Now that dress is
Speaker 4: on Amazon Prime. Now you can find it.
Speaker 2: So at the very least, she either she got it
Speaker 2: from there or she did it so that the fast
Speaker 2: fashion girlies can get on there and it can be
Speaker 2: on Amazon. But either way, Amazon has no place at
Speaker 2: my big night of fashion.
Speaker 3: I want the grapes. I don't want to hear about Amazon.
Speaker 3: I just don't understand me, because like, what do you mean?
Speaker 3: This is? This was my I was so excited for.
Speaker 2: This because one again giant Bee hyper and Nicole Kitman fan.
Speaker 3: People don't know that about me. I like me. I
Speaker 3: think she's great. I like her. I think he's just.
Speaker 2: Wonderful, beautiful actress, great eyebrows, and I love Beyonce. I
Speaker 2: was so excited for this gala, like this mat gala.
Speaker 2: I love that the themous fashionists are it literally mango
Speaker 2: balls to the walls.
Speaker 3: You stupid, boring motherfuckers. What are you doing?
Speaker 2: Why is any Why did I see so many people
Speaker 2: just dressed up for a red knight, like a red
Speaker 2: carpet night at a movie premiere. There were a lot
Speaker 2: of heads, so a lot of people went all out
Speaker 2: and went across the board and showed themselves, and then
Speaker 2: there was a look of couples that I was like, now,
Speaker 2: wait a minute, Banala, you could have said, no, stay home.
Speaker 2: If we're just gonna wear a three piece tucks.
Speaker 3: In white Hill, where's your sequence, where's your lights? Where's
Speaker 3: the color?
Speaker 2: Like you saw some really some big pushes like, damn
Speaker 2: some eatress, like he did his thing. He has some
Speaker 2: big sparkles on, Like I'm supposed to look through Eve
Speaker 2: News' feed and like see nothing but looks like just fashion.
Speaker 3: What the fucks?
Speaker 2: Oh my god, what is that? At least get me talking,
Speaker 2: you know what I mean? And I saw even people
Speaker 2: being very critical. My worst weak ever would be the
Speaker 2: Kim Kardashian because what do you mean You've spent now
Speaker 2: like the last decade, making people talk about you every
Speaker 2: time you went through the med gala, like whether you
Speaker 2: like her or not, this is her big thing. This
Speaker 2: is her and her family's biggest night. Jim not gonna
Speaker 2: miss a mad. Okay, we watched this lady Platinum dye
Speaker 2: her hair for like eighteen hours, pull herself into a
Speaker 2: corset and almost take out a rib like shimmy her
Speaker 2: way into a Marilyn Monroe dress that nobody else would
Speaker 2: allow her to wear. All of this, and then you're
Speaker 2: gonna phone it in today this week at Beyonce's Mad.
Speaker 3: That's disrespectful.
Speaker 4: And also I think Chris Jenner like the way better
Speaker 4: look than Kim Kardashian. I actually appreciated it.
Speaker 3: Damn man, damn that's not good news. That's not good news.
Speaker 2: Like it's just like from the couch dress back in
Speaker 2: the day when you were pregnant. Like, at least get
Speaker 2: the girlies talking kimberly to you, like putting on that
Speaker 2: wet fit. That was a good one. I actually loved it.
Speaker 2: The you know, we can't even see your face.
Speaker 3: Is it you? Is it not? We don't know.
Speaker 2: With Jivanci, I think that was good job. Like, at
Speaker 2: least get the girlies talking. We thought that that's what
Speaker 2: she did. I mean, if you are someone who watches
Speaker 2: their show, still hate watching or not, or watch it
Speaker 2: for art or.
Speaker 3: For for work like I do.
Speaker 2: Maybe because someone pays me tell him if they didn't,
Speaker 2: I don't know, maybe I would as as a laundry
Speaker 2: room clean out. But like every season for the last
Speaker 2: ten years they have made, especially on their new show
Speaker 2: on the Hulu, one they have made with me is
Speaker 2: such a big.
Speaker 3: It's a whole episode for them to all go to the.
Speaker 2: Mat because we have an issue with influence, but they
Speaker 2: are the originals just because they also have other careers
Speaker 2: and brands.
Speaker 3: They are just influencers.
Speaker 2: That just didn't have a TikTok when they were coming up,
Speaker 2: but this is what they were.
Speaker 3: You don't know where they're coming from or what they're doing.
Speaker 2: We just know that they show up to the important
Speaker 2: stuff and they were fat and they weren't fun looks.
Speaker 2: But this is the night where that's acceptable to me.
Speaker 2: If you paid the money to go and it goes
Speaker 2: towards the arts, and you're gonna show up and do
Speaker 2: your thing, awesome.
Speaker 3: Go for it.
Speaker 2: I think that you know the plot can't be lost though,
Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, Like, your job is to
Speaker 2: put on a fit, hire one of your creative teams.
Speaker 3: So don't you have like night all of y'all.
Speaker 2: Got these creative fashion brands and all these people in
Speaker 2: the room, And.
Speaker 3: What was the reason the phone it in? Kimberly, It
Speaker 3: didn't pass the bar.
Speaker 2: I don't think you're studying anything anymore, So what is it?
Speaker 3: I just don't know. That really confused me. I was like, so,
Speaker 3: what are you passionate about these days?
Speaker 4: Then, Kimberly, it really does show that she's probably not
Speaker 4: in great connections with actual influencers, because I feel like
Speaker 4: she would still and not give credit, And this is
Speaker 4: a night where the credit does go to designers, stylists,
Speaker 4: the behind the scenes because like, yes, absolutely the the
Speaker 4: icon like legendary Nicole can wear that piece of outfit,
Speaker 4: but like also knowing who made the dress, why the
Speaker 4: dresses made that way, and like yeah, I think that
Speaker 4: is one of the reasons why Kim was lacking on
Speaker 4: looks because she just I feel like everyone knows in
Speaker 4: the industry working with them, like you're not going to
Speaker 4: get the credit that you deserve.
Speaker 2: In my opinion, Now that's that's a good point because
Speaker 2: what I've noticed is it may not be Kim that
Speaker 2: you'll get the credit you deserve. But Kendall does not
Speaker 2: have this problem in her family. She stays on theme.
Speaker 3: She is.
Speaker 2: She's the fashion girlie right for better or words, how
Speaker 2: she got there.
Speaker 3: Is not really important anymore, Like she is a model.
Speaker 2: I think back to last year when we did when
Speaker 2: there was the tailor or maybe that was two years ago,
Speaker 2: I don't remember, but that the tailored idea and she
Speaker 2: was the one to honor and celebrate black tailors. And
Speaker 2: I think that the woman who did her dress like
Speaker 2: last year was like it was like ninety hours and
Speaker 2: a lot of stitching, and she really honored that, like
Speaker 2: the hard work of like tailor to perfection. It was
Speaker 2: like the was the vibe and she was like and
Speaker 2: we did that. Look at literally how cut to my body?
Speaker 2: This dress is like she served a fashion moment on things,
Speaker 2: whether you liked the dress or not, and that she
Speaker 2: got the people talking. And I remember the designer and
Speaker 2: I remember that being the reason why she wore that dress,
Speaker 2: because of the tailor, that she chose this young black woman,
Speaker 2: and that It's something that sticks in my mind even today.
Speaker 2: I'm thinking about it to day.
Speaker 3: Which is the point.
Speaker 2: So I'm like, Kindle, the girl's not to work with Kendle,
Speaker 2: I nest, you're probably like over there.
Speaker 3: On her her out of the.
Speaker 4: So true, so true.
Speaker 3: No, yeah, she she's having a good day.
Speaker 2: She wore Zach pos Kendall Jenner wore Zach Posen or
Speaker 2: Gap Studio by Zach Posen, which I love Zach Posen.
Speaker 3: R I P. I think she looks great. I thought
Speaker 3: she looked really good.
Speaker 2: It wasn't so artsy, but I loved the art of
Speaker 2: the fashion of the art. It looked very taken off
Speaker 2: and very ripped, very like I don't know.
Speaker 3: It was a cool look for being subdued.
Speaker 2: There were some people who didn't just subdue, Like I
Speaker 2: am okay with you looking demor or whatever. If it's
Speaker 2: still again on thing, it looks like she was. It
Speaker 2: was delicately put together rags. It looked very cool, especially
Speaker 2: since Zach Posen is like no longer Lily Together.
Speaker 3: Uh, he's not here anymore. And I wore his.
Speaker 2: I wore that posing brides mead dress to prom and
Speaker 2: I thought I was the moment. So I'm always here
Speaker 2: for a girly wearing a posing bring it back to
Speaker 2: two thousand and fifteen.
Speaker 4: I was gonna say, that is like the era of
Speaker 4: Zach Posen, like the truth.
Speaker 3: Yeah.
Speaker 6: Yeah.
Speaker 3: My problem was in twenty fourteen and I wore I was.
Speaker 3: I walked and it was like to David's bridle, like
Speaker 3: that one. It was black, it was a hocktail dress,
Speaker 3: it was short.
Speaker 2: I said, yeah, of course that I was in there,
Speaker 2: so I loved seeing it and it felt very reminiscent
Speaker 2: of that and Kenda Lenard are the same age, so that.
Speaker 3: Makes a lot of sense. So she's not having that problems,
Speaker 3: but now I love that for her. The girls love me.
Speaker 3: I don't know what to tell you. Kimberly.
Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so Matt at this moment, I was very
Speaker 2: happy to see so many people really try the fashion things.
Speaker 2: My biggest favorite moment of the night was Rihanna and
Speaker 2: Beyonce Huddin. I will have that framed and I want
Speaker 2: it on my tombstone. Y'all will never convince me that
Speaker 2: there is a beef because the two greatest queens in
Speaker 2: the world were hugging each other and briefly having conversation
Speaker 2: on met Gala Monday, and that means and we got
Speaker 2: a Rihanna sighting.
Speaker 3: So I had a great day because Lehanna don't come
Speaker 3: out the house no more that Rihanna us.
Speaker 4: I think she was pictured with Rihanna and Sierra too,
Speaker 4: and we all know that stage that she speaks of
Speaker 4: has been squashed.
Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I'm so excited. That made me so happy.
Speaker 2: So yeah, the Monday was really cathartic to watch. It
Speaker 2: was pretty much just some Vanilla people who you know,
Speaker 2: showed up Vanilla le and we just scrolled past and
Speaker 2: we kept it move and but shout out to the
Speaker 2: girl that took the assignment and made it worth something. Okay,
Speaker 2: and again, like I said, the first person I even
Speaker 2: saw headed to the mcdala was Sierra Miller.
Speaker 3: And you know people are say.
Speaker 2: Regardless of how you feel about influencers being there, she's
Speaker 2: she That's what that is like. She's a provolebrity. She
Speaker 2: is an influencer under normal circumstances. Just three maybe three
Speaker 2: years ago, if not less, I don't think that we
Speaker 2: would have seen her there or you know, her being invited.
Speaker 2: This is a big deal, no, like a something, not
Speaker 2: even just like not a housewives. But there were other
Speaker 2: housewives there. You know, Raquel from New York she was there.
Speaker 2: Newport was there. But she's big in fashion. But Summerhouse
Speaker 2: is not a Housewives show. Summerhouse is. It's been fighting
Speaker 2: for ratings for a decade. To get to where it is.
Speaker 2: It took scandal, pretty much on the hands of a
Speaker 2: black woman being betrayed. Why are to be fast for
Speaker 2: us to get to the ratings that you know, y'all
Speaker 2: thought they've.
Speaker 3: Deserved or had for many years. They have not.
Speaker 2: This is the first season that they've actually had like
Speaker 2: numbers of live viewers that look matchable or comparable to
Speaker 2: even like that of a housewives show on a Wednesday night,
Speaker 2: like a Beverly Hills numbers. It's not great, hasn't been great.
Speaker 2: So for Sierra Miller to be invited to the met Gala,
Speaker 2: what did you think? How did you you know? Especially
Speaker 2: with her being just like influencer, this is technically a
Speaker 2: step below.
Speaker 4: I am team Sierra. So I loved seeing her, and
Speaker 4: I think she's on the road to like Arianna. I
Speaker 4: feel like every brand like I'm seeing her moves and
Speaker 4: I'm like, I wonder if the same agent as Arianna
Speaker 4: is now picked up by Sierra because the sponsorship, the shade,
Speaker 4: the collabse her doing the MET Gala. I think Paige
Speaker 4: even interviewed the met Gala. I want to say last year.
Speaker 4: I'm not too sure, but she did some red carpet
Speaker 4: theme where I'm just like, Wow, we're really at the
Speaker 4: moment where we should be a little scared, because what
Speaker 4: if Siara doesn't come back next year? She doesn't have to.
Speaker 4: She's in the stardom of like this is everyone knows her. Yeah,
Speaker 4: like she's I don't want what happened to Ariano Maddox,
Speaker 4: where like the whole entire cast basically has some vendetta
Speaker 4: of like jealousy. I don't think that is happening with
Speaker 4: the cast of Summerhouse, but you never know. I'm just
Speaker 4: scared that we're gonna lose our girl and it will
Speaker 4: be good either way.
Speaker 2: Absolutely, I mean I didn't listen. We're in an age
Speaker 2: where I mean, it just happened this week. If you
Speaker 2: also were, you know, checking out, scrowing things, sitting into
Speaker 2: your group chats. Whitney Levitt from Sweet Speaker Lives and
Speaker 2: Mormon Wives just left the Big Shell. People are very
Speaker 2: torn about it. She has had a big glow up
Speaker 2: of a year. She has been a part of spinoffs
Speaker 2: and on Broadway. Her probably one went on so long
Speaker 2: they asked her to keep going and she said, I can't.
Speaker 2: I literally am so fucking tired. I've been here since January.
Speaker 2: Like you guy has been doing this for the whole
Speaker 2: year now, and it was supposed to be like an eight.
Speaker 7: Week stunt, like she is leaving the show and people,
Speaker 7: but we're just starting to like you and the blow
Speaker 7: ups and all the things, and you know, now we
Speaker 7: have to navigate a world where she's not a part
Speaker 7: of it.
Speaker 3: And I think we should be prepared for that to
Speaker 3: happen to Sierra as.
Speaker 2: Well, because why would she put herself back in that
Speaker 2: same situation. Obviously, them Caucasians with the bad judgment, they
Speaker 2: need this show. They need it, They need each other.
Speaker 2: They don't bathe themselves unless they are on this show.
Speaker 2: They don't take care of themselves unless they're in the
Speaker 2: Summer House.
Speaker 3: Okay, So it.
Speaker 2: Does feel like we're entering a new era where we
Speaker 2: also need to be mindful that girlies.
Speaker 3: Can go to the met galap She might not.
Speaker 2: Want to come to a reunion and that's okay. But
Speaker 2: I also feel like we haven't seen the last of
Speaker 2: Siri yet. I do think that we're going to get
Speaker 2: something with her and with Bravo. I think she just
Speaker 2: needs to find her space, and I think that this
Speaker 2: momentum carves out a nice piece for her in that world.
Speaker 2: Like again we're still waiting on I'd love to transition
Speaker 2: her from leaving the Summerhouse and into Home Rento in
Speaker 2: North Carolina, Like, let's go renovate that grandparents home. Let's
Speaker 2: create generational wealth for ourself and our family. Let's just
Speaker 2: also do the HGTV thing, Like we don't have enough
Speaker 2: Home Rento on Bravo. We haven't in years, Like I think.
Speaker 3: We once tried with a garden show.
Speaker 2: We don't do it often and may be a couple
Speaker 2: backyard shows, but it's been a long time and now
Speaker 2: we have Sierra and she we know she would get
Speaker 2: the engagement the girdlies will look. But at this point
Speaker 2: people are just thinking she's another like Landria. They're like,
Speaker 2: I don't know where she came from. She does not
Speaker 2: be a pretty girl who wears pretty dresses and keep
Speaker 2: her coming here.
Speaker 3: She might not be even telling the girls that she's
Speaker 3: from a summerhouse.
Speaker 4: I know right she it did come in as model first,
Speaker 4: so she can still put that title first.
Speaker 3: So we'rek and where's it? Well, I mean, she won
Speaker 3: that dress yesterday.
Speaker 2: I said, I don't know if I understand it, but
Speaker 2: it's on Sierra, and it looks so good on her.
Speaker 3: I don't know what else I think.
Speaker 2: If I saw that same dress on the person who
Speaker 2: actually made it, on the model who was the designer
Speaker 2: made it for, I probably would not like it at all.
Speaker 2: But on Sierra, I'm like, it's just impossible for you
Speaker 2: to make things. You make things look better, So uh,
Speaker 2: including Old Navy. Her Old Navy collaboration dropped today, which
Speaker 2: on the day that we're recording this, which is Wednesday,
Speaker 2: which I wanted to mention because if.
Speaker 3: You watched The Summerhouse that came.
Speaker 2: Out last night on Tuesday, oh.
Speaker 4: Yeah, that was all hard. Yeah, filt to swallow last night.
Speaker 2: I really hope she woke up to a fat ass
Speaker 2: bank account because.
Speaker 3: Diabolical is being overused.
Speaker 2: But we should have saved it for this season, the Summerhouse,
Speaker 2: in this scandal, we should have waited for this.
Speaker 3: Yeah.
Speaker 4: I thought Raquel was really bad. But after seeing how
Speaker 4: Amanda was talking about Sierra and now we know how
Speaker 4: she moved with Siara, really makes me wonder, what, like,
Speaker 4: is this the Amanda we knew all along? I want
Speaker 4: to I don't know. It makes me think of what
Speaker 4: like Danielle and Lindsey both kind of foreworn through seasons,
Speaker 4: and I always thought of it like they just thought
Speaker 4: they didn't like the fact that she got lumped into
Speaker 4: to the show because she was a booty call for Kyle,
Speaker 4: and I always thought it was because of that, But
Speaker 4: I think it's because she just gives the vibes of
Speaker 4: like not a good person.
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's severe pick me energy in the worst way,
Speaker 2: because you got to think what makes the person, what
Speaker 2: makes a girly a pick me is the lack of
Speaker 2: security and who you are and your ability to get
Speaker 2: a man or a person a partner get attention at
Speaker 2: all based on who you are alone, personality, merit looks whatever.
Speaker 2: You feel so inadequate in your own mind around people
Speaker 2: that you think either deserve and you deserve their attention.
Speaker 2: You're entitled to their attention, but you don't feel like
Speaker 2: you can get it unless you do the most on
Speaker 2: the most subdued level. But y'all know you've ever seen
Speaker 2: a pic me or you've seen a girl like this
Speaker 2: is this video of her going around where I was like,
Speaker 2: this is it? This is all I needed to know
Speaker 2: to know that she was this kind of girl, this
Speaker 2: kind of bird. She's like doing the macarena like at
Speaker 2: a yeah, like a skating rink or something, and she's
Speaker 2: doing it. Yeah, she's doing it so.
Speaker 3: To ye cool. People are like, oh, she thinks she's
Speaker 3: so high. I'm like, no, she does, but she doesn't.
Speaker 3: That's the thing. It turn only she knows that she
Speaker 3: doesn't think that, but.
Speaker 2: She wants to exude that. She wants you to think that,
Speaker 2: so that maybe they'll come and talk to her. It
Speaker 2: was literally giving pick me status. That is a pick
Speaker 2: me behavior of like look at me, right, Like don't
Speaker 2: you want to look at me instead of looking at
Speaker 2: a beautiful supermodel?
Speaker 4: Can I tell you something last night's episode when everyone
Speaker 4: has not see her, Amanda's back over Kyle, which now
Speaker 4: looking at it, Kyle's outbursts, I think he was going
Speaker 4: crazy where he's like, I try to pull my weight,
Speaker 4: she doesn't pull hers. And I hate to side with Kyle,
Speaker 4: you know what I mean, Like I get it, he's
Speaker 4: a terrible husband. In this position, her face of just
Speaker 4: seeing everyone side the way like Wes put his chair
Speaker 4: next to her, just Seerra having her back, she was
Speaker 4: just like she didn't have to say a single word.
Speaker 4: She was just like making all these faces, smiling at
Speaker 4: the fact that Kyle showed his ass in front of
Speaker 4: everyone on that dinner table, and everyone in that dinner
Speaker 4: table was protective of Amanda. Yep, Jesus, the way that
Speaker 4: Kyle was just kind of spitting facts there and he's like,
Speaker 4: am I going fucking crazy?
Speaker 3: No being cheated on?
Speaker 2: I'm yeah, I think that you are not paranoid. I
Speaker 2: think that you are reactionarily scared, like you have a
Speaker 2: retroactive fear, like you're like, wait, is somebody behind me?
Speaker 2: It's because someone actually was, Because I think Kyle's actually
Speaker 2: a beat late.
Speaker 3: God bless him, He's a man. So I think he's
Speaker 3: a beat late.
Speaker 2: And I'm gonna this is a hot take and I
Speaker 2: have no proof about it, but I actually think Amanda's
Speaker 2: pretty fucking conniving and calculating, and y'all need to stop
Speaker 2: telling me to be worried about her mental health. I
Speaker 2: actually think you need to worry about people around her
Speaker 2: mental health. I think she is pretty fucking diabolical. In
Speaker 2: a different way, it's giving, like when I watched her
Speaker 2: talk to Mia on that beach about Sierra and realized
Speaker 2: that she wasn't getting enough attention from Mia. She wasn't
Speaker 2: even getting enough praise from Mia for her being a
Speaker 2: good friend.
Speaker 3: So she kept going.
Speaker 2: She kept saying Sierra's just such a special and incredible person,
Speaker 2: like I watched it so many times, to be like people.
Speaker 2: I can't believe she.
Speaker 3: Could lie that easily. I can again raised by a
Speaker 3: narcissist here.
Speaker 2: If you've ever seen a good con artist, which most
Speaker 2: narcissists are, and they have a lot of great insecurity.
Speaker 3: But if you've ever seen a con artist.
Speaker 2: They can deliver emotion and non emotion just as equally.
Speaker 2: My dad could cry on command, he could not cry
Speaker 2: on command. He could do either one, depending on what
Speaker 2: the situation called for. If he wasn't getting enough from something,
Speaker 2: then he'll keep going. You were no, right, So Mia
Speaker 2: not responding enough, like not being like oh my god,
Speaker 2: right isr just so great? She just keeps callingcuse like
Speaker 2: I just think that until someone like knows that about her,
Speaker 2: like I won't, I don't.
Speaker 3: Trust anyone with her heart. Oh you won't. Why is
Speaker 3: it because you already know that someone's playing with her
Speaker 3: heart because.
Speaker 2: They're playing with you while they're duming. Oh okay, so
Speaker 2: because like, what do you mean the way I would
Speaker 2: cut West off in a heartbeat? Like if she just
Speaker 2: looked at me, if she just looked at me.
Speaker 3: Done, I'd be done.
Speaker 2: And me it's just like I know, and people are like,
Speaker 2: she don't see that move, I said, I think because
Speaker 2: she knows it's bullshit, Like.
Speaker 3: Why are you kicking so hard right now? Nothing was happening.
Speaker 6: She's just seeing Wes, She's seeing Sierra looking gorgeous, and
Speaker 6: instead of knowing that she and Wes do their own
Speaker 6: thing together, which I'm sure they were at this point,
Speaker 6: or they could.
Speaker 2: I know that she knew that. We've seen other episodes,
Speaker 2: but instead of thinking that way, she's instantly like, no,
Speaker 2: it just can't be Wess and Sierra, you know, it
Speaker 2: just it just can't. Like it wasn't didn't seem like
Speaker 2: it was out of concern for her, even though she
Speaker 2: prefaced it with Sirah, it's just so amazing and West,
Speaker 2: it's just not good enough for her.
Speaker 3: He's good enough for me. I'm not amazing, That's what
Speaker 3: that is.
Speaker 2: Because what do you mean you're gonna I'm watching you
Speaker 2: say that he's a piece of shit. He's not good
Speaker 2: for your friend. He played with her heart. Oh God,
Speaker 2: I love so much.
Speaker 3: I would die for her, I think, could you imagine?
Speaker 3: You really don't?
Speaker 4: She really does think she's the exception, when really she
Speaker 4: is so basically cliche. I cannot believe that you are
Speaker 4: going out with the man that your friend cried over
Speaker 4: on how he treats her. I would never Why would
Speaker 4: I be interested in a man that made a girl
Speaker 4: cry like a woman?
Speaker 2: I don't cry, especially when you just said you don't
Speaker 2: trust him with her heart because he's so bad.
Speaker 3: That's cool.
Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, so I made no sense unless you know
Speaker 2: something we don't know.
Speaker 4: Yeah, the timeline is really being exposed on real time
Speaker 4: as we're seeing it, because I cannot wait to see
Speaker 4: this reunion and see what kind of hodgepodge timeline that
Speaker 4: they're going to tell us. Thinking that it started in
Speaker 4: late January February, I think it started way before summer
Speaker 4: this season got filmed. It had a certain like during
Speaker 4: the spring, right.
Speaker 3: I think you're right.
Speaker 2: I think it's either there or it happened in and
Speaker 2: on it during the summer house like neither is better.
Speaker 3: Both are long.
Speaker 2: I think they're gonna lie to us, and I think
Speaker 2: that's one of the reasons why I know, Daddy Ending,
Speaker 2: you're so pissed about the leakage of the reunion rollse eyes,
Speaker 2: because honestly, we can't trust that y'all would have done
Speaker 2: this right. We don't know who side y'all's gonna be on,
Speaker 2: and it really can change from moment to moment.
Speaker 3: I don't feel like they would have let the raw
Speaker 3: and emotions play out or let a man to hang herself.
Speaker 2: I don't especially in the age of you know, I'm
Speaker 2: not gonna del real deep into it, but in the
Speaker 2: age of Southern Hospitality.
Speaker 3: And what the hell is going on over there.
Speaker 2: And something that really could have been super super super
Speaker 2: easily explained and done right, and that's just get Emmy off.
Speaker 3: This goddamn show just don't need to be that big
Speaker 3: of a deal. But here we are. Have you pulled
Speaker 3: down in the art of it all?
Speaker 4: Have you seen because they feel like I heard this
Speaker 4: yesterday and I don't know if it's real news or
Speaker 4: fake news, but well about Emmy being fired, I don't
Speaker 4: know from Southern Hospitality, but from Republic after Leva had
Speaker 4: to I have such a complicated feelings with Leva on
Speaker 4: this show. I know it's her show, yeah, because she
Speaker 4: got caught with Emmy. She got caught with Emmy and
Speaker 4: now she she's retracting, and she said that she didn't
Speaker 4: know about those long ass text messages that Michael's was
Speaker 4: showing on this latest episode, and now she's actually sighting
Speaker 4: with I think Bradley. I'm not too sure if she's
Speaker 4: still with Emmy or not, but I think he's.
Speaker 2: Not doing well it's not getting better because she started
Speaker 2: going back and forth with a popular content creator, a
Speaker 2: black man.
Speaker 3: Rupert backs there.
Speaker 2: He is wonderful and so funny, and he literally all
Speaker 2: he said to her because I pray you your sons
Speaker 2: don't experience the same kind of vitriol like behavior that
Speaker 2: you know that Bradley experience on show at the hands
Speaker 2: of your employee. And you know how response was, don't
Speaker 2: threaten my sons or you're trying to threaten them or whatever, like,
Speaker 2: oh no, you're pulling an emmy. You're calling a black
Speaker 2: man a threat when that's not what happened. Can you
Speaker 2: calm down and not be the victim for one second.
Speaker 2: Having a conflict with a black man does not mean
Speaker 2: you are in danger. Having a conflict with a black
Speaker 2: man does not mean you are in danger. Having a
Speaker 2: conflict with a black man does.
Speaker 3: Not mean you're in danger.
Speaker 2: Please pass that message along because some of us really
Speaker 2: are having a hard time thinking that.
Speaker 3: It's not a racist you everything's a raci issue. It is.
Speaker 2: If you suddenly think that you can't have a conflict
Speaker 2: with the black man, or with a man because he's black,
Speaker 2: and to accuse him of threatening you, you being in danger,
Speaker 2: your life being in stake, especially even on the internet.
Speaker 2: This big, beautiful gay ass is absolutely not threatening your sons,
Speaker 2: lover what.
Speaker 3: This is exactly what Immy just did. Because Bradley, it's
Speaker 3: also not threatening you. You are fine, You're not in danger.
Speaker 2: Why are you crying? Stop crying? Oh my god, stop crying.
Speaker 2: And that's another reason why I was like, listen, Andy,
Speaker 2: we don't know if you would have just let a
Speaker 2: man to try twice and we would have been like, oh,
Speaker 2: that's enough.
Speaker 3: But after what I'm watching, I need more.
Speaker 2: I need to know that she's doubling down and she's
Speaker 2: gone to one eighty from this on the beat who
Speaker 2: I would cut west off in a minute to sitting
Speaker 2: next to him and going, well, we are in love
Speaker 2: and then and we just can't help it, and we'mitting
Speaker 2: we're friends, and you know he had me back and
Speaker 2: I don't know, okay, girl, take your pick me, pick
Speaker 2: me and her pit can go over there. And the
Speaker 2: fact that she y'all think I believe it because again
Speaker 2: I'm down on the hill, that she is like a
Speaker 2: big capital peek capital and pigny. She over there at
Speaker 2: the game going act like you like me. That's what
Speaker 2: y'all said. She said to him when he was like,
Speaker 2: I do like you. He kissed you, right, he kissed
Speaker 2: her because that's his response because he does like her.
Speaker 2: But her asking that, her saying that, allegedly, her mouthing
Speaker 2: that allegedly lets you know where the insecurity level is.
Speaker 3: It's dits up there, because what do you mean, act
Speaker 3: like you like me?
Speaker 2: He basically has thrown away his whole fucking popularity, his life,
Speaker 2: his career, everything for you, and he's.
Speaker 4: Still on Riot. Apparently he's still on Riot. He changed
Speaker 4: his profile within the past month as well, which is
Speaker 4: kind of funny because isn't he bff with Amanda. Also
Speaker 4: insider when they were at that game is a girl
Speaker 4: who asks what the relationship is like, and I think
Speaker 4: she calls him her boyfriend like their boyfriend and girlfriend.
Speaker 4: And I'm like, funny because he's still playing your ass
Speaker 4: right now, like he's not faithful, he's not committed. And
Speaker 4: the way that she was so freed of Kyle, so
Speaker 4: close to just jump in the arms of another of
Speaker 4: a loser.
Speaker 2: I'm a loser at least I mean, listen, at least
Speaker 2: call him.
Speaker 3: I get out of bankruptcy this year. Okay, he might
Speaker 3: be all right, So I don't know.
Speaker 2: But it's just it really was giving, like you, you
Speaker 2: could do better if you just believed. I need her
Speaker 2: to have a little bit more faith in herself. Maybe
Speaker 2: get a deep blowout, don't do it yourself. Go get
Speaker 2: a blowout, Go put on some.
Speaker 3: Fresh clothes and underwear, my love, wash your face.
Speaker 2: There's like a go get them book made written by
Speaker 2: this wonderful white woman who was like, girl, get up
Speaker 2: and wash your face or something like that. Y'all used
Speaker 2: to love it, like ten years ago. Go get that book, Amanda,
Speaker 2: Get up Washington, put on some real clothes, get a blowout,
Speaker 2: and have some self respect, because you're gonna continue to
Speaker 2: treat people this kind of shitty and have nobody, and
Speaker 2: you'll just woe is me yourself into believing that that's
Speaker 2: just the way it is. You'd be like, I just
Speaker 2: don't have anyone, no one likes me, and I'm just
Speaker 2: not friends with anyone. And when in actuality, this is
Speaker 2: a this is one hundred percent of you thing. So
Speaker 2: I really wish Sierra the best. Her old Navy commercial
Speaker 2: with Paris Hilton. They came out today was really really cute.
Speaker 2: She looked great, She looks great, and everything even in
Speaker 2: Old Navy had me wanting to go to Old Navy.
Speaker 3: Does parents Hilton have a line at Old Navy?
Speaker 4: No. I feel like she's been on Old Navy before.
Speaker 4: I feel like she was on an Old Navy commercial
Speaker 4: twenty years ago when they had like a whole celeb
Speaker 4: Old Navy is so known for having celebrities in their commercials,
Speaker 4: like seventy style setting.
Speaker 2: Yeah, she like put on that pink, platinum platin leather
Speaker 2: dress and was like, thanks, it's all Navy And I
Speaker 2: was like.
Speaker 3: Is it? I can get that at my local? Okay,
Speaker 3: oh right, all right, I'll use some super cash.
Speaker 2: I want to shift gears a little bit to what
Speaker 2: made me have the best week ever so far, and
Speaker 2: that is these damn housewives of Rhode Island. I oh
Speaker 2: have never Oh wait, what did you think?
Speaker 4: I thought you were going to say Atlanta. But I
Speaker 4: am okay with Rhode Island too. I love all housewives
Speaker 4: so good Sunday Nights. I think you put this on
Speaker 4: my best we ever episode Sunday Nice Rhode Island, Atlanta.
Speaker 4: It's just oh night. So it's my bread and butter
Speaker 4: Right now, I look forward to Sunday.
Speaker 2: Nights so good. The scaries are gone away. I actually
Speaker 2: have had have been having better Mondays and more than
Speaker 2: I have any other day of the week because I'm
Speaker 2: going as so jipper on Monday, Okay, Sunday nights. I'm like,
Speaker 2: I had so much, such a good time last night.
Speaker 2: I made better food, I have my snacks.
Speaker 3: I'm in a good mood. If my wife is in
Speaker 3: the mood, I let her hit like it's like if
Speaker 3: you don't even know Pinky and Angela just went at it. Baby,
Speaker 3: I am good.
Speaker 2: Like I'm having a time on a Sunday night. Like,
Speaker 2: but I wasn't expected, like I know my Atlanta girlies
Speaker 2: are always going to perform for.
Speaker 3: Me and make me lol.
Speaker 2: I wasn't expecting to laugh as much as I did on.
Speaker 3: Rhode Island this week. I really was not.
Speaker 2: These ladies are hilarous in ways that I didn't expect.
Speaker 3: Why did it take us so long to go up here? Like?
Speaker 3: Where did this?
Speaker 6: This is?
Speaker 3: This show feel so familiar for being.
Speaker 2: A brand new franchise, Like I feel like I'm settled
Speaker 2: into it really well, even though we don't know them.
Speaker 2: We just met them six episodes ago, and I'm like,
Speaker 2: we're at a castle, We're having a dinner, we're doing stuff,
Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh my god, that's so Alicia her crackers,
Speaker 2: but like we just met them, Like, what do you
Speaker 2: think it took so long to get this kind of innovation?
Speaker 2: And should we be now looking for more? Like should
Speaker 2: we not ease up off the gas?
Speaker 4: I am there with you, and I feel like it's
Speaker 4: because we are missing real Housewives of New Jersey. They
Speaker 4: have the accents, they have the looks, they have Literally,
Speaker 4: Joe Ellen looks like Teresa ju Day.
Speaker 2: We're all focused on Dolores and Liz, but Joe Ellen
Speaker 2: looks like a more polished new version, Like if if
Speaker 2: Apple put out a new version.
Speaker 3: Of the iPhone.
Speaker 2: Yeah, Teresa Joellen is the newest updated version.
Speaker 3: Of the Teresa iPhone. It's Joe Ellen. She looked just
Speaker 3: like her to me, and she talked like her.
Speaker 4: It's crazy, talks like her, the like what do you mean?
Speaker 4: Like just like, we really do miss for Housewaves of
Speaker 4: New Jersey. But in my opinion, this is what I theorize.
Speaker 4: I don't want I want to shake up, I want
Speaker 4: to reboot. I want what Ronie did to happen to
Speaker 4: New Jersey, and I feel like Rhode Island is giving
Speaker 4: me that to the point where I'm like, I don't
Speaker 4: think I need New Jersey back.
Speaker 3: Oh I don't need it at all, man, I really don't.
Speaker 4: I don't care about Teresa and Melissa, don't care. I
Speaker 4: feel bad for Dolores, you know, getting over here over
Speaker 4: she's a friend of already on Rhode Island. I mean,
Speaker 4: I get it. I feel like she got cut off
Speaker 4: on a lot of the stuff on Rhode Island. But
Speaker 4: the women are good on their own that they don't
Speaker 4: need Dolores. Dolores was a great door to open, you know, like, hey,
Speaker 4: these are my friends, and now we love her friends
Speaker 4: to the point it's like, oh Dolores.
Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, no love, but no, we're good. I'm yeah,
Speaker 3: I'm here.
Speaker 2: I'm sitting right next to the girls. Like I was
Speaker 2: happy to even see Like we'll get to it in
Speaker 2: a second, but I was happy to.
Speaker 3: Even see Ashley.
Speaker 2: I pipe up a little bit in episode. I know
Speaker 2: y'all have been waiting for that, and she made me.
Speaker 2: She was one of the reasons I laughed. I wrote
Speaker 2: it down because they were like why is she crying?
Speaker 2: She crying don't got none to cry about. That's funny.
Speaker 3: I was like, that is hilarious and.
Speaker 4: That is very much so that's her brand, that is
Speaker 4: and the way that she was like, I know something
Speaker 4: bad is gonna It's like, oh my god, girl, you
Speaker 4: have not changed one bit since the Bachelor.
Speaker 2: Days, you know, Harry to think about like something happening,
Speaker 2: like someone's gonna die.
Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't.
Speaker 2: But when she's sobbing with her with her little triangle
Speaker 2: a Candice Diller little tissue corner, and she's like someone's
Speaker 2: gonna do.
Speaker 3: No And Alicia but like I mean, the privilege.
Speaker 2: Of not knowing, like of not having had anything bad
Speaker 2: happen to you yet, but then like moving to the
Speaker 2: privilege of Lisha being like we were homeless. You moved
Speaker 2: into your grandparents' mansion. Yeah, but like we didn't have
Speaker 2: our home.
Speaker 4: How do you feel about that? Because like I Liz
Speaker 4: gives me like that's something my aunt would say. You
Speaker 4: know what I mean if I were to be in
Speaker 4: that situation. I've had a cousin that was in that situation,
Speaker 4: and I can totally see my aunt just being like
Speaker 4: you were taken care of like you were loved, like
Speaker 4: you were surrounded by family. But at the same time,
Speaker 4: the way that Alicia told her story of just like
Speaker 4: I left my bedroom and I thought I was having
Speaker 4: a sleepover and I found out I was never going
Speaker 4: back to my room. That is traumatizing. Yeah, So like
Speaker 4: I saw both sides as Liz defending the family that
Speaker 4: was so that that that gives New Jersey vibes to me.
Speaker 4: I am from New Jersey and I can see my members.
Speaker 4: But I love that you appreciate the food there, because
Speaker 4: the food is amazing Union City, Like there's so many pockets.
Speaker 3: Never had a bad.
Speaker 6: Me.
Speaker 2: I've not had a bad coffee. I've not had a
Speaker 2: yeah bagel. I like, how fucking raunchy they are. I
Speaker 2: give I went to this coffee shop. I don't think
Speaker 2: I ate there, but I went to this coffee shop
Speaker 2: with a bunch of other Jersey people who didn't even
Speaker 2: flinch at the Sea Health code writing in the window.
Speaker 2: It was busting when they could give a ship. Jersey
Speaker 2: never changed. They are rowdy, But I like the Rhode Island.
Speaker 2: It's like a very reformed there. They're like Henny Turnpipe.
Speaker 3: We are hot.
Speaker 2: Yeah, we thought I was in clips boo, like, okay,
Speaker 2: pizza bread, pizza bread, Listen, I won't say that.
Speaker 3: I'm not gonna take away.
Speaker 2: I can understand Liz having a different background not recognizing that.
Speaker 3: Being that being.
Speaker 2: True trauma or homelessness to her. That doesn't mean that
Speaker 2: it does not feel that way, especially to a kid.
Speaker 2: I had a situation when I was a kid that
Speaker 2: we weren't in a home, and I think I described it,
Speaker 2: especially in therapy in the latter years, as being homeless.
Speaker 3: Because we did not live in our home for two years.
Speaker 3: We lived with other people because of my death. But
Speaker 3: we had those moments and I'm like, why are we
Speaker 3: living with.
Speaker 2: My godparents in the basement and sharing a bed when
Speaker 2: I just had.
Speaker 3: A bedroom like last month. I don't understand, like with
Speaker 3: change like and it can.
Speaker 2: Be traumatizing, So especially if it's someone like Alicia had
Speaker 2: a soulver spoone, had her own room, had all the
Speaker 2: things to go from, not even if she was taken
Speaker 2: care of. To a kid, though, you're disrupted, Listen, Divorce
Speaker 2: disrupts kids just having two homes. They're like, well, you
Speaker 2: were always taking care of you had two homes, and yeah,
Speaker 2: but it disrupts the kid. They don't understand the complexities
Speaker 2: of what being an adult is. They don't know that
Speaker 2: because your grandparents stepped in and take care of you,
Speaker 2: that you're gonna be okay, that you're fine.
Speaker 3: Her home is gone.
Speaker 4: But it makes sense why she has so much resentment
Speaker 4: towards her fiance of nine years. It's basically her baby daddy,
Speaker 4: for not having her name on the mortgage, for not
Speaker 4: having her name on the house. It makes sense because
Speaker 4: it all goes back to her traumatized childhood of losing
Speaker 4: a home.
Speaker 2: Yeah, it does, and it also makes sense why she
Speaker 2: still loves her dolls that stunted trauma growth babes.
Speaker 3: Anyway, that.
Speaker 2: So we like this episode was actually a really good
Speaker 2: one for not being a beginner and not being an
Speaker 2: end it is. It's given something like city vibes, where
Speaker 2: we're just gonna have fun every episode. There's something. Every episode,
Speaker 2: there's drama, there's a lot. We didn't even have Rula
Speaker 2: and the husband and.
Speaker 4: I didn't need her. We did like I love I
Speaker 4: love the gossip, I love the salacious you know scandal
Speaker 4: that is giving into this season. But at the same time,
Speaker 4: I was okay with her not being there, because it
Speaker 4: does take a lot a lot of the screen time
Speaker 4: against the other girls.
Speaker 3: It does because we had to do it. Like I mean, yeah,
Speaker 3: I get it. I feel like I understand Joe Ellen, Like,
Speaker 3: you know.
Speaker 2: She's like a bull with you know, a dog with
Speaker 2: a bone, Like you can't let it go, especially if
Speaker 2: you're saying that you're lying.
Speaker 3: That's that's the trigger for her.
Speaker 2: She's like, no, because when Rula is there, I do
Speaker 2: want us to get to the bottom of it, to
Speaker 2: the point where I forget that we have other storylines
Speaker 2: to think about, much like Kelsey in This Mystery Man.
Speaker 2: So basically they did let her film in that They
Speaker 2: probably broke up a minute ago, and he let her
Speaker 2: film in the house because the show started after they
Speaker 2: broke up, and he was like, I don't care, that's fine.
Speaker 4: I'm like good for good for her. When she said,
Speaker 4: I'm leaving with a rental already signed, I don't have
Speaker 4: to worry about Yeah.
Speaker 2: He's gonna pay the rent, he pays my car insurance,
Speaker 2: he's gonna pay some of the bills, And.
Speaker 3: Can I get back on my feet exactly?
Speaker 4: I was like, show me the ways. How can like,
Speaker 4: can you teach a program, because I think the ladies
Speaker 4: really need some guidance on how to get there.
Speaker 3: Alisha was nodding.
Speaker 2: Alicia was like, actually, yeah, how tell me more about that,
Speaker 2: because my name's not on anything, not a pizza mama,
Speaker 2: not a pizza papa, not anything, and I it needs
Speaker 2: to be. Alisha is quite literally one of the best
Speaker 2: things that happen to reality television. I cannot believe she
Speaker 2: hasn't been here before and we will never lose her,
Speaker 2: which means her husband's only going to get shittier, which,
Speaker 2: oh fiance, excuse me, Yeah, he's only going to get shittier.
Speaker 2: That's the worst because whenever you're a breakout star, expect
Speaker 2: for the men to fucking.
Speaker 3: Crumble beneath you. They just they just do. I've never
Speaker 3: we've never not seen that not be the case. I
Speaker 3: think maybe.
Speaker 2: Except Lisa Barlow is the only one who had a
Speaker 2: breakout first couple of years, and John wasn't an asshole,
Speaker 2: Like he didn't make you, didn't try to make her
Speaker 2: look smaller.
Speaker 3: But I'm worried about Alicia because.
Speaker 2: She's great and loved and trapped in her marriage and
Speaker 2: she doesn't know like bringing dolls to a care First
Speaker 2: of all, she is.
Speaker 4: Okay, say, I'm sure she no, I'm doing it. I'm
Speaker 4: sure she heard the word facade you know before, but
Speaker 4: to actually like she probably spelt it in her own
Speaker 4: mind some other way.
Speaker 3: M yes, which it wasn't it does look like how
Speaker 3: it is spelled.
Speaker 2: Kelsey was even also on Watch What Happens Live after
Speaker 2: this episode aired, and you know Andy will not let
Speaker 2: up on her having her boyfriend film her ex boyfriend
Speaker 2: film on the show.
Speaker 3: He liked the show, but he is not on the show. Andy.
Speaker 2: You know what happens when rich power for men are
Speaker 2: doing things they have no business doing that they want
Speaker 2: to protect it. They stay away from the television. He's like, no,
Speaker 2: bring it on, Let's see who else comes from the
Speaker 2: room work and says I also sleep with him?
Speaker 3: Or what else is going on?
Speaker 4: They can't all be Brian's I mean they can't.
Speaker 3: Yeah.
Speaker 4: I am still stunned at the fact that he sat
Speaker 4: at Watch What Happens Live knowing damn well that the
Speaker 4: leagues were coming out that his mistress has ten percent
Speaker 4: minority of his business. That is ballsy.
Speaker 2: The fact that he is suing her for breach of
Speaker 2: n DA. What is there in NDA for if you
Speaker 2: weren't JD, why are you having a girl's son in
Speaker 2: NDA's or why are you so har.
Speaker 3: Like?
Speaker 2: No, like, honestly, there is something about you know, the
Speaker 2: the delulu of coming on this show. I mean he
Speaker 2: had me and I knew he was psychotic when he
Speaker 2: is here miked on camera, filming, leaves, the filming drops through,
Speaker 2: la Off, goes to chief kicks fula.
Speaker 3: Backup, goes back to filming. You're nuts.
Speaker 2: You can't wait till we're done on the call time
Speaker 2: and you gotta put it on your mama.
Speaker 3: Damn, he lives, he really does. Nobody goes to the gym. Then,
Speaker 3: don't forget he goes to the jym.
Speaker 2: So we're hoping that Kelsey does her hair and makeup
Speaker 2: business and it does really well.
Speaker 3: But in the meantime, girl, let that man pay for things.
Speaker 2: Okay, your whole ten years was like, he knows that
Speaker 2: I've done nothing for ten years because he told me to.
Speaker 2: So he's gonna have tol me if he wants me
Speaker 2: to go and no be successful.
Speaker 3: So I hope she ends.
Speaker 2: Up with someone like Billy, But it don't look like it.
Speaker 2: I think he's Billy's gonna be like, listen, I'm not
Speaker 2: taking care of you though, my love, and you look
Speaker 2: like you still want that. Making your own money is
Speaker 2: not the only thing that it seems like you're resistant against. Okay,
Speaker 2: the vintage rolls Royces that pull up so fucking cute.
Speaker 2: I was like, Howard, is everyone going to fit in
Speaker 2: all of these? But they were like, no, girl, we
Speaker 2: we could take a uber if she wanted come.
Speaker 3: Roasted.
Speaker 2: Joe Ellen telling Rosie when they were in the carriage
Speaker 2: that she looked like a stripper Soper and now she
Speaker 2: was like, thank you.
Speaker 3: I was going for that, and she was like I
Speaker 3: should have just said she didn't look good.
Speaker 5: That's not better, But okay, sure, hilarious and they're on
Speaker 5: their way to adult lunch, which I remember, like Ashley
Speaker 5: I and Cody, I remember.
Speaker 3: Doing it with my American girls.
Speaker 2: I had the original dolls too, only three of My
Speaker 2: mom wouldn't buy me off. I actually, you know, want
Speaker 2: there to be a purpose, you know, want me read
Speaker 2: the books. But I remember having them and taking them
Speaker 2: for lunches and things like that.
Speaker 3: I was definitely the ripe age of the fourth grade.
Speaker 4: But okay, loved you have.
Speaker 2: Six the nineteen or like four like she liked the
Speaker 2: she'd liked to rescue foster kids. And she's probably that's
Speaker 2: probably the first reason that ever wanted to adopt was
Speaker 2: because Amanda, I mean, Samantha made it looks so easy
Speaker 2: to be like, they don't have a home and we
Speaker 2: love them, they should just be with us and live
Speaker 2: in a hole like that makes sense. Like I'm Addie
Speaker 2: of course because black. She was the first one that
Speaker 2: I got, and she had to be a slave because
Speaker 2: that's the way you could tell black stories at the time.
Speaker 3: Is a change.
Speaker 2: They have a civil rights girl now, yay. And did
Speaker 2: you know they have a two thousands American girl doll?
Speaker 2: Their newest historical doll is was in the k No,
Speaker 2: this is recent. She literally has like an og computer like.
Speaker 3: Two like we are this doll. They're like, look, meet
Speaker 3: the two thousands And I said the what.
Speaker 4: And they had like a blow up plastic cushion chair
Speaker 4: that I actually grew up having.
Speaker 3: She she had like a little time of dogging or something.
Speaker 3: I'm like, oh man, this red what do you mean
Speaker 3: historical doll?
Speaker 2: And the last one I had was Hoeina the she
Speaker 2: was a Mexican girly with her. I loved her whole family.
Speaker 2: I loved her outfits. I thought she was so cool.
Speaker 2: So I had the ones who meant something and then
Speaker 2: the girlies of color, which at the time they were
Speaker 2: only like two.
Speaker 4: And came late. She was I remember ninety seven. She
Speaker 4: was the one in my year of wanting those dolls
Speaker 4: where I was like, oh my god, there's one that
Speaker 4: looks like me exactly.
Speaker 2: I was like, okay, right, listen, like I and I
Speaker 2: really love those outfits, so I.
Speaker 3: Get why a lecha would want to have a dollhouse
Speaker 3: party with them. Killed some childhood wounds.
Speaker 2: But I was more invested in that mask array ball
Speaker 2: that Liz and then put on. She delivered mas to
Speaker 2: every door based on her understanding of each person. I
Speaker 2: actually thought it was a really cool concept. Instead of
Speaker 2: just like break down, like something that nobody else knows
Speaker 2: or that you want to know about someone, she kind
Speaker 2: of read everybody in a different way, like 'se the
Speaker 2: mask for you, and you're gonna call them, We're gonna reveal,
Speaker 2: we're gonna take those masks off.
Speaker 3: Really well done. A lot of things going on.
Speaker 2: Interesting dynamic between Rosie and Kelsey because they are so similar,
Speaker 2: like they look alike, they're similar in age, they taken
Speaker 2: different approaches to where they are today, and boy does
Speaker 2: that play in the contempt that they have against each
Speaker 2: bucker but baits they I think Rosie shared I don't
Speaker 2: even remember what Rosie shared.
Speaker 3: It was something very deep, very personal.
Speaker 2: No, I don't remember, but I remember Ashley, oh not Ashley,
Speaker 2: what's her name? Kelsey being like, that was the most
Speaker 2: genuine you've been in such a long time.
Speaker 3: It's like the most genuine thing you've ever said. I
Speaker 3: felt like that was so honest.
Speaker 2: For once, I'm giving you a compliment, and they were
Speaker 2: and joe I was like, that was a compliment.
Speaker 3: Take it nicely.
Speaker 2: She's saying, you're being genuine. Actually, it's like, uh, it
Speaker 2: was not a compliment. She said, that's the first thing
Speaker 2: I've ever been able to believe in you.
Speaker 3: Yikes.
Speaker 4: Yeah, that was a really bad fact. And she's lucky
Speaker 4: that Rosie didn't attack. Rosie was like okay.
Speaker 3: Yeah, Like Rosie was chilled the whole night.
Speaker 2: She was like, I'm sorry that you think I'm not
Speaker 2: a genuine person, that you think I'm lying about my house,
Speaker 2: which lol.
Speaker 4: She probably gets that a lot.
Speaker 2: She probably does get that a lot, especially because she
Speaker 2: was a newscaster, so she does have to wear a mask.
Speaker 2: I can understand and see her being shy. Actually, you
Speaker 2: know that's just the personality is a news personality on
Speaker 2: their personality.
Speaker 3: I think that was what it was that she shared.
Speaker 2: Rosie, I mean, Kelsey's bone to pick with her is
Speaker 2: that she believes they already.
Speaker 3: Liked that she.
Speaker 2: Got fired and not did not take a medical leave
Speaker 2: of absence from her job and then left.
Speaker 3: She got fired.
Speaker 2: You know a lot of people people send to know
Speaker 2: everything about each other in this town on this show,
Speaker 2: like for fat, like for fat, Like no, I know
Speaker 2: for a fact it's not just yet he might have
Speaker 2: been banging people at the gym in Tenafly like a
Speaker 2: lah March or Jackie Goldschnyder.
Speaker 3: But like, no, these girls.
Speaker 2: Like no, I know for a fact you got fired
Speaker 2: for like fucking a round or something.
Speaker 4: I forbid you have a past in this state. They
Speaker 4: really like hold because that sounds like news that happened
Speaker 4: what three two years ago? She says that she got
Speaker 4: kaleidoscopist or whatever that she decided to quit because of
Speaker 4: the health reason, and that was what three that had
Speaker 4: to be four years ago, and for Kelsey to still
Speaker 4: hold on to that fact and claim it true when
Speaker 4: she could just ask Rosie, like, Rosie basically just told
Speaker 4: the truth right there.
Speaker 3: Yeah, and don't forget. She's like, I think you're dishonest
Speaker 3: about your house. She goes, what I am.
Speaker 2: Adding five thousand square feel like you can take a
Speaker 2: measurement tape if you want to go see the parameters
Speaker 2: of what's being added. So to my house it's fifteen
Speaker 2: hundred square feet. What's there to lie about because it's
Speaker 2: not fifteen hundred, it's a thousand.
Speaker 3: I'm like, is that the lie? Okay? She's admitting though,
Speaker 3: that her house.
Speaker 2: Is small and she's going from a small house to
Speaker 2: making it bigger. Also, that extra five hundred square feet
Speaker 2: is probably like the garage or outdoor living space. Is
Speaker 2: it included in the actual square footage of what you
Speaker 2: would put furniture on? No?
Speaker 3: Is it included on the Zillo property? Yes, calm down,
Speaker 3: like She's like, but at least I had a house
Speaker 3: you don't. At least I have a husband you don't.
Speaker 3: At least I have a career you don't.
Speaker 4: I hope she says it to her in her face,
Speaker 4: because you know they're going to replay that in the reunion.
Speaker 3: Oh for sure, Let's see.
Speaker 4: If she can still back it up. Because Rosie. I
Speaker 4: like Rosie, but I don't know. There's just something about
Speaker 4: her that I don't know. I like, I'm just I'm
Speaker 4: gonna save it till the time comes. I guess you
Speaker 4: can say.
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're just like, I'm keeping my eye on her
Speaker 2: and my finger on the post, but I.
Speaker 3: Know something's going on. I know when something's going on.
Speaker 2: Okay, all right, listen. I'm just like, I can't wait
Speaker 2: for the rest of this season. They already gave us
Speaker 2: like a coming up more on this season at the
Speaker 2: end of this episode, was like, it's not even a
Speaker 2: mid season trailer because and that's we're only getting ten
Speaker 2: or twelve episodes.
Speaker 3: Which I'll riot if it's less than fourteen.
Speaker 2: I will riot if I could sit through Amanda Battula
Speaker 2: being a shitty ass friend for fourteen episodes when I
Speaker 2: know what is on the other end of this and
Speaker 2: I'm only getting twelve or so of a show that
Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on every episode. But I'm
Speaker 2: having a blast while watching it, and so you better,
Speaker 2: Bravo give us all of it please, and let's let's
Speaker 2: keep up the momentum.
Speaker 3: I really really really like this show.
Speaker 2: I'm like, never thought I would be able to replace
Speaker 2: New Jersey or like like it as much as this,
Speaker 2: But these are probably my favorite white women on TV.
Speaker 4: Yeah, not since Salt Lake City have.
Speaker 3: I exactly been.
Speaker 2: And this much again, I feel like we really settled
Speaker 2: into a rhythm with them so easily, like they feel seasoned,
Speaker 2: but not in a way of like they're pretending, in
Speaker 2: a way of like, no, we got this. We we
Speaker 2: are housewives, and we've got long jeby, Like now y'all
Speaker 2: are housewives, this is happening. We I can season two today.
Speaker 2: I want to know that you're filming. I want them
Speaker 2: on a Potomac schedule. I'll say that here. I want
Speaker 2: them on a Potomacs schedule. Potomy always has their reunion
Speaker 2: somewhere around, like you know, and then they always start
Speaker 2: filming like either right after or whenever the spring lines up,
Speaker 2: and if the reunion takes late, they will film they've
Speaker 2: filmed before.
Speaker 3: Like weeks after the reunion air. I want that.
Speaker 2: Let's get him on sketch, BENI da, I want to
Speaker 2: see what's going on. Let's get because Ruler still with
Speaker 2: that husband. So she just posted a video of him,
Speaker 2: she said, but she.
Speaker 3: Didn't post a video of him going to the gym.
Speaker 2: Ruler, if you want to prove your man is not lying,
Speaker 2: take a video of him at the gym, don't show
Speaker 2: his same old muscles in that same old tired button
Speaker 2: up shirt from his job and be like, hey, dad's
Speaker 2: go to that gym.
Speaker 3: He doesn't. He doesn't. We don't see it, and you
Speaker 3: don't either.
Speaker 2: But it's okay because I'm gonna have a nice time
Speaker 2: watching that de Lulu watch all over her body and
Speaker 2: watch Brian, her husband, run around.
Speaker 3: Being like, I'm taking my mic off. I'm not doing this.
Speaker 3: Then why are you here, sir?
Speaker 2: Just don't go Yeah, I don't get it. It's giving
Speaker 2: jin y'all, but I love it. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 2: I'm all up in there like.
Speaker 4: Voice.
