226. RHOA Trailer, The Valley Persian Style, Married to Medicine w/ Vanessa (@realitea_recap)
Field Notes
V and Mani chat about the other Bravo shows that are SO GOOD right now! Let us convince you why The Valley Persian Style is even better than Shahs was (and the Valley honestly). GG, Reza and MJ are far from the only reasons to watch and the drama and storylines are so good. Married to Medicine is in its 12th season and it is still firing from all cylinders! Couples trip to Jamaica makes for great television. Oh and the trailer for RHOA just released and with it came new housewives and new headlines already. Do we think it'll be a great season? First impressions of the newbies? all that and (obviously) so much more! Get in the Mix!

Speaker 1: Okay, y'all know I've been honest about my journey trying
Speaker 1: to get and keep this waste on me nice and snatched.
Speaker 1: I've been also honest about my use of golp ones
Speaker 1: to do so first to manage my type two diabetes,
Speaker 1: then to help me manage weight loss, especially when I
Speaker 1: really knew the extra help to get the LB's off
Speaker 1: was doing the diet, the exercise, but it was just
Speaker 1: not hitting the marks that I needed it to hit,
Speaker 1: and so I did actually a golp one shot for
Speaker 1: four years. For years, though I struggled with the idea
Speaker 1: of putting a shot in my body every single week
Speaker 1: really really stressed me out. Though I loved the results,
Speaker 1: snatched ways, curved appetite was looking good, close fitting on
Speaker 1: me like it has it in years, I had a
Speaker 1: hard time getting past the shot. However, I had to
Speaker 1: keep going back to the doctors every time I had
Speaker 1: a question or a concern. It is time consuming, even
Speaker 1: though it was working, trying to manage this new thing
Speaker 1: while trying to manage my weight loss. That's why hearing
Speaker 1: about this GLP one pill that they have over at ROW,
Speaker 1: I said, game changer. I need to know more Okay,
Speaker 1: apparently they got it over there at ROW.
Speaker 2: You want to start your.
Speaker 1: Weight loss journey, you can do it online. Not fifty
Speaker 1: thousand appointments back and forth, taking time off of work
Speaker 1: and from your busy life in doing things, more time
Speaker 1: for you, more time to do the things you want
Speaker 1: to start that journey.
Speaker 2: You can do it online.
Speaker 1: ROW has access to everything right there on the Internet's
Speaker 1: access to.
Speaker 2: Clinically proven, FDA approved medications, free insurance checks, side effects management,
Speaker 2: and dosing support.
Speaker 1: If you're not into the shot thing, they even have
Speaker 1: the pill on there as an option.
Speaker 2: That's right.
Speaker 1: Row offers the first FDA approved golp one pill, a
Speaker 1: more convenient and approachable way to try gop ones if
Speaker 1: you've been thinking about it. A self administered shot can
Speaker 1: be intimidating, but now there is a pill available that
Speaker 1: delivers comparable results, has the same weight loss ingredients as
Speaker 1: the shot, but only a once daily pill to curve
Speaker 1: that appetite and help you feel fuller longer. I've personally
Speaker 1: experienced the benefits of a golp one in my health
Speaker 1: and weight loss journey. Definitely told y'all was making my
Speaker 1: clothes look good, making my body feel good, had a
Speaker 1: lot more energy.
Speaker 2: It was great.
Speaker 1: My dog was loving how much I wanted to go
Speaker 1: on walks because I wasn't huffing and puffing on the walk.
Speaker 1: That's why I have to tell y'all that the Row
Speaker 1: Body membership helps.
Speaker 2: You get on this journey.
Speaker 1: It includes access to FDA approved gop ones. It includes
Speaker 1: unlimited provider messaging, side effect management, all of that, like
Speaker 1: I said, but for forty five dollars for your first
Speaker 1: month if you're listening to me, and one hundred and
Speaker 1: forty five dollars every month thereafter. Now you have access
Speaker 1: to those great medications. But the role membership fee does
Speaker 1: exclude the cost of the medications.
Speaker 2: But don't worry.
Speaker 1: ROW also offers the lowest cost GOLP ones that there
Speaker 1: are that you can find that are safe and approved.
Speaker 1: Whether you're using insurance or paying cash, Row offers the
Speaker 1: lowest GOLP ones that you can find. After your first
Speaker 1: online visit, if you're eligible for treatment, you can expect
Speaker 1: to start your medication in less than a week if
Speaker 1: paying cash, or about two weeks if using insurance. Either way,
Speaker 1: you're getting that snatch basis soon as you start that
Speaker 1: journey for yourself, honey, go to Row dot co slash
Speaker 1: m WM to c if you're eligible for the new
Speaker 1: GOLP one pill on Row. That's our o dot co
Speaker 1: slash m WM. To get started on Row, go to
Speaker 1: Row dot co slash safety for boxed warning and full
Speaker 1: safety information about GLP one medications. But that's Row dot
Speaker 1: Co slash m WM. Mix with Mony, Thanks for your support.
Speaker 2: Sounds Ruddy Hello, Hello, Hello, beautiful and wonderful mixologists out there.
Speaker 2: It is your girl Moni and you are back in
Speaker 2: the mix with Moni and Fanessa. It is our girl
Speaker 2: V from the reality recap literally covering all the things,
Speaker 2: and that's why for here today. I'm so excited. How you doing, V.
Speaker 3: It's always good to be back home.
Speaker 2: I'm always day with you, Sam.
Speaker 3: I'm good in you love it.
Speaker 2: I am so good.
Speaker 1: I'm so excited to have you here today. It's been
Speaker 1: a busy week in TV.
Speaker 2: You know.
Speaker 1: Houseives has been on, all the other girls have been on.
Speaker 1: We got premieres happening left and right, we got trailers
Speaker 1: happening left and right, everything coming back. I want to
Speaker 1: know your thoughts really quick before we get into our
Speaker 1: other non housewives shows. We're gonna talk to Valley Persian style,
Speaker 1: we're gonna talk married to medicine. But I have to
Speaker 1: know your thoughts on the Atlanta trailer, Sam, what did
Speaker 1: you think?
Speaker 2: I mean?
Speaker 4: It didn't make me overly excited like I, Okay Hills
Speaker 4: when I watched it. Am I gonna watch Absolutely, I'm
Speaker 4: excited to finally have it back. I just felt like
Speaker 4: they tried to put so much in the trailer that
Speaker 4: I couldn't really grasp the storylines of where we were going.
Speaker 2: But one thing for.
Speaker 4: Sure, the shade abundant is real and exactly an abundant.
Speaker 4: It definitely was given shady. I enjoy it, Yo, no
Speaker 4: shortages of the shade.
Speaker 2: It's like again, it's like watching Potomac.
Speaker 1: You Potomac could have a nothing burger of a season,
Speaker 1: which some might even argue they did this season, Like
Speaker 1: there was like no scandal. We're not throwing people across
Speaker 1: tables at wineries anymore.
Speaker 2: Like those days are over.
Speaker 1: And you know, Karen wasn't there, so we don't have
Speaker 1: when he wasn't a criminal yet on the show, so
Speaker 1: we in real time, we don't have much, but we
Speaker 1: always have shade, and that is something that I will
Speaker 1: give Potomac, I will give Atlanta. The East Coast girls
Speaker 1: know how to read a bitch, whether we're doing something
Speaker 1: or not, whether there's a scandal or not. West Coast
Speaker 1: they need something to be in the headline. It feels
Speaker 1: like all the time, like, but the East Coast, No,
Speaker 1: they're like, girl, we can read.
Speaker 2: Yeah, is that a raad?
Speaker 3: Yes, it's not my blood. That's what we do.
Speaker 4: We've been hiking when we were since we was in
Speaker 4: high school, in elementary hiking on to eather, that's what
Speaker 4: we called it, and now it's called shape.
Speaker 1: But yeah, we've been pay joning on people is what
Speaker 1: we called it over here.
Speaker 2: Like yeah, man, I don't need much to happen.
Speaker 1: On Atlanta for me to have a great time. I'm
Speaker 1: excited that these girlies are back. The shade is real
Speaker 1: in the moment. The shade is real in the confessionals, like,
Speaker 1: I'm ready to see the looks and stuff. I'm ready
Speaker 1: to see. It's interesting Kelly gets demoted allegedly, and I
Speaker 1: see that Kelly is not going to be miss full Time,
Speaker 1: not Miss Waffles.
Speaker 2: Drew so Door.
Speaker 1: I think he even went to support recently to the Chicken
Speaker 1: and waffle restaurant, and she was just confused as to
Speaker 1: why I was closed, like on a Wednesday at noon
Speaker 1: or something.
Speaker 2: I told her, if.
Speaker 4: She was following me, she wouldn't have been because I
Speaker 4: had told the people the trip.
Speaker 3: She wouldn't have wasted the gas to toll the trip.
Speaker 2: None of day. She wouldn't do that already, Drew.
Speaker 1: You gotta know, you gotta follow reality recap. Okay, reality
Speaker 1: underscore recap. You gotta get there so you would know,
Speaker 1: she said, I told you, but they kept. You could
Speaker 1: have went to a chicken spot that was open.
Speaker 3: Yeah, you just went to the wild House.
Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what's under those are all They're everywhere
Speaker 1: like that is open.
Speaker 2: Okay. She was like, girl, wife is closed on a Wednesday.
Speaker 1: I said, I know why raised his hand me because
Speaker 1: I follow Okay, I see it online.
Speaker 2: She not tapped in.
Speaker 1: She has to tap in, But I Kelly gets the mooted,
Speaker 1: which does make sense, especially if things are not looking
Speaker 1: great right now. Maybe she don't want to share it,
Speaker 1: maybe they don't care to ask her to share.
Speaker 2: Who knows, But what you know is.
Speaker 4: I think it has a lot to do with her
Speaker 4: ex husband, and he's suing.
Speaker 2: He's suing Bravo. I mean he's even so is really
Speaker 2: racking up the laws from Atlanta.
Speaker 4: The lawyer hours that they that these lays is collected
Speaker 4: from Bravo right now.
Speaker 3: The hourly pay is outrage.
Speaker 1: They're doing great, especially between that and Brett Eadie dropping
Speaker 1: one suit. But like filing a federal a federal case
Speaker 1: of what what I think. I'm just still not understanding
Speaker 1: what was wrong done wrong of her. We didn't see anything,
Speaker 1: so I just don't want to understand what we're here for.
Speaker 2: Money this at all.
Speaker 4: I was studying it last night because you know, I
Speaker 4: tried to get myself a breast of the situation before
Speaker 4: I drop a video. This lawsuit is sixty one fucking
Speaker 4: pages long. My god, like I was trying to like
Speaker 4: it definitely seems like I'll just give you a quick
Speaker 4: little rundown. I think she went state to federal because
Speaker 4: she thinks there's more money in it for her if
Speaker 4: she files federal than state.
Speaker 2: That's what I sure, that makes sense. That's that's why
Speaker 2: she did that.
Speaker 4: But the biggest things I got out of it so
Speaker 4: far in my notes was that she felt pressured to
Speaker 4: discuss the incident on camera, and the producers allegedly encouraged
Speaker 4: her to be emotional and control the narrative. She says
Speaker 4: she was pressured to discuss her sexual history, including front
Speaker 4: of her mother.
Speaker 2: Including in front of her mother.
Speaker 4: She was allegedly told she could lose screen time or
Speaker 4: pay if she refused that Yeah, Number two.
Speaker 2: She with hell key information.
Speaker 4: They with hell key information either repeatedly requested to see
Speaker 4: the photographs shown at the event that Kenya showed, she alleged.
Speaker 4: She alleges that Brabo refused to show it to her.
Speaker 4: Nearly a year later, she learned the explicit image did
Speaker 4: not depict her, like it wasn't even her in the picture.
Speaker 2: She's saying that they withheld that from her. The other
Speaker 2: things was.
Speaker 4: They amplify, she says, Bravo amplify the incident publicly and
Speaker 4: use promotional material referencing the scandal, and then number four
Speaker 4: allowed continue harassment from other cast members. They made sexually
Speaker 4: explicit and derogatory comments towards her on camera, and your
Speaker 4: claims no meaningful corrective action was taking and she was
Speaker 4: retaliated against and in April twenty twenty five, she was
Speaker 4: allegedly told More might return for season seventeen. She claims
Speaker 4: her continued employment was effectively conditioned on filming alongside Kenya.
Speaker 4: So listen, sixty one pages. That's what I got with
Speaker 4: for you so far, but video with coming high.
Speaker 1: So it's a poor me. I signed on to do
Speaker 1: a reality TV show and I don't like the way
Speaker 1: it went. Basically okay, because nothing you said was non
Speaker 1: descript of what it is to be on a reality
Speaker 1: TV show. In fact, if you watch the way this
Speaker 1: A and TM documentary went, I covered that last week.
Speaker 1: You have no case. Them girls were in comparison. I
Speaker 1: think you're fine. You had a it was a cake wall.
Speaker 1: You're it wasn't even your image. You said, okay, nobody
Speaker 1: yelled at you and said that your grandmother got her
Speaker 1: lights turned off so that you could have a bathing suit.
Speaker 2: Nobody did that to you. You're fine.
Speaker 4: Bravos playing the long game, like they filed the most
Speaker 4: de lawyers filed the emotion asking for more time to
Speaker 4: like review the case.
Speaker 2: Just switched.
Speaker 4: They're playing the long game, and see how long her
Speaker 4: money is to keep paying for a lawyer.
Speaker 2: It's not that long. She's getting a divorce, isn't she
Speaker 2: I think she's getting the divorce, but also there with
Speaker 2: he don't got that kind of money, you know he.
Speaker 3: Don't and but on Facebook.
Speaker 4: I don't know if it was an old video or not,
Speaker 4: but there's a video that surfaced last week of her
Speaker 4: at a party, like kissing him and biting his lip,
Speaker 4: and then it was like an older lady and shit
Speaker 4: in the camera.
Speaker 2: I don't get a lot of Brady content.
Speaker 1: I think I've made my algorithm a little too aware
Speaker 1: of how many times I rolled, Like I rolled so
Speaker 1: many times that Instagram said that maybe I just won't
Speaker 1: show you girl.
Speaker 2: Getting mad at me.
Speaker 1: Yeah, please do because that's crazy. But it sounds about her.
Speaker 4: Yeah, it was an outside party. That's why I don't
Speaker 4: think it was recent. I was like, no way, this
Speaker 4: is right now because it seemed like it was like
Speaker 4: warm weather and we all know that ye're even in Alanta.
Speaker 3: I don't think it's like.
Speaker 4: No, no, no, the older video, but I so have to
Speaker 4: find that intended to you. It was so cringe with
Speaker 4: her biting his lip and kissing and this woman coming
Speaker 4: out of nowhere crumping and wrapping.
Speaker 2: It was a lot going on.
Speaker 1: Sounds about her chaos chaos, like just absolutely chaotic.
Speaker 2: Don't understand it whatsoever.
Speaker 1: What do you think about them casting Ca Michelle and
Speaker 1: Pinky and us seeing it in this trailer?
Speaker 2: This was their debut.
Speaker 1: We've all known that this was happening, but our first
Speaker 1: like little sneak peek of what it could look like.
Speaker 2: To have both of them on this show. What were
Speaker 2: your thoughts?
Speaker 1: I saw some thoughts that mimic exactly what I said
Speaker 1: it would bring, which was it was gonna give love
Speaker 1: and hip hop to y'all. And a lot of people said,
Speaker 1: oh my god, it's giving love and hip hop. I
Speaker 1: don't know about this. This feels like love and hip hop.
Speaker 1: I said, Oh, and I thought Kim and show was
Speaker 1: actually on her best behavior.
Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know what they bring to the table
Speaker 4: in this trailer from the storyline. Now, I will say
Speaker 4: when I watched the trailer, when it came to Pinky Eye,
Speaker 4: she rubbed me the wrong way because I saw her
Speaker 4: trying to come for ogs like Phedra and talking about
Speaker 4: you know, she she eats, she eats dead people. I
Speaker 4: saw her going back and forth with Angela, even though
Speaker 4: Angela's not like an og. She really is a fan
Speaker 4: favorite right now, seeing her tell her I should have
Speaker 4: brought your fore clothes, so she.
Speaker 2: Kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I'm not ever
Speaker 2: a fan with that.
Speaker 4: Someone new comes in and tries to start shit with
Speaker 4: older or popular castmates, like let's get to know you.
Speaker 3: But I will.
Speaker 4: Say her online social media presence makes me feel a
Speaker 4: little bit different. She she takes it on the chin. Well,
Speaker 4: like the whole mister Clean thing that Angela says. She
Speaker 4: posted her picture next to mister clean, you know, like
Speaker 4: she's really I'm learning a lot about her because I
Speaker 4: did not follow her before.
Speaker 1: There were in There are employees coming out I saw
Speaker 1: about her, which is kind of interesting, I'll say, because
Speaker 1: I think the timing is a little bit sketchy. You
Speaker 1: could have gotten traction about your poor time there, believe
Speaker 1: it or not, before she the trailer came out.
Speaker 2: Yeah, she was already worth one hundred million before the shows, right,
Speaker 2: like Slutty Vegan was not nothing to sneeze at.
Speaker 1: But people knew who that was, especially in the Atlanta community,
Speaker 1: which is crazy. It came from New York, like, and
Speaker 1: she had a huge one in New York. It was
Speaker 1: big then it was lying down the blocks in New York.
Speaker 1: That's not easy to do. She was the like the
Speaker 1: black girl. It was a big deal. Okay, them damn
Speaker 1: vegan burgers are delicious.
Speaker 2: I haven't had one.
Speaker 4: Money like goo with a friend one day and we
Speaker 4: like with We were trying out the Louis Vauton Museum
Speaker 4: and love that hafe and she was like, let's go over,
Speaker 4: and I was like, are you saying them lines? I
Speaker 4: gotta get my kids from school.
Speaker 2: All right.
Speaker 1: And that's like I think her reopened one because I
Speaker 1: think she had one in New York, like some years ago.
Speaker 1: I believe there was a fire or something, but don't
Speaker 1: call me. And then she moved it to Atlanta. They
Speaker 1: did the same numbers, and I mean she put in
Speaker 1: work and she has done a lot for the community
Speaker 1: of Atlanta. Her and Dave from Big Days Cheese Steaks,
Speaker 1: like they're like the King and Queen. They're not married,
Speaker 1: but they like the King and Queen of Atlanta because
Speaker 1: they food is believe it or not, And this is
Speaker 1: a hot take. I don't find Atlanta's food seemed to
Speaker 1: be that fantastic. I think it's trendy. I think their
Speaker 1: food is not great. So when you have something that
Speaker 1: is really good.
Speaker 2: It stands out.
Speaker 1: Okay, you got your Pinky col over there, you got
Speaker 1: Dave's Cheese Steaks, and you got Marcus from Top Chef.
Speaker 1: He got a restaurant down in Atlanta that is wow,
Speaker 1: insanely good, and that that's about gonna do.
Speaker 4: It because all the celebrities have restaurants in Atlanta.
Speaker 2: They do, and it doesn't make it what.
Speaker 4: To do, like they're not restaurant common source. And I
Speaker 4: love two chains and it's still it's okay. A strip
Speaker 4: club good though, Yeah it.
Speaker 1: Is, yeah yeah yeah, and g I those ones he opened,
Speaker 1: he got a couple, No, m no, they just need
Speaker 1: to funnel their money.
Speaker 2: You know, I love Candy, but no, no, she's always
Speaker 2: had bad reviews.
Speaker 1: And yeah, but that's what I'm saying, you know what
Speaker 1: I mean, Like you could have gotten some traction and
Speaker 1: us knowing this before yesterday because also Pinky was casting
Speaker 1: a while.
Speaker 2: Look out, we've known about this for a minute.
Speaker 1: We could have gotten I would have loved to keep,
Speaker 1: you know, have some of this hullabalou then it just
Speaker 1: it's giving interesting timing for it to be so real
Speaker 1: and not have come out much before.
Speaker 2: Now her whole business, her whole life, is her whole.
Speaker 1: Claim to fame and money is restaurant. So I just
Speaker 1: want people have known that's just me. But I'm interested
Speaker 1: to know more to get my attention, which might have
Speaker 1: been the whole point of them releasing that after the trailer,
Speaker 1: so cause I'm like, oh.
Speaker 2: Everybody want that. Fifteen everybody want that fifteen minutes.
Speaker 1: Everybody, everybody. It's crazy. It's never enough to be rich.
Speaker 1: Wendy Williams used to always say that, Okay, y'all know,
Speaker 1: I've been honest about my journey trying to get and
Speaker 1: keep this waste on me nice and snatched. I've been
Speaker 1: also honest about my use of GLP ones to do so,

Speaker 1: w M mixed with many thanks for your support. She said,
Speaker 1: they will never ever be enough to just have the
Speaker 1: hundreds of millions of dollars. Everybody wants a minute, everybody
Speaker 1: wants to stay fifteen minutes.
Speaker 2: And I said, when are you for real?
Speaker 1: She said, yes, Look at the look at Mariah Carey's
Speaker 1: new husband.
Speaker 2: Who's a billionaire. He just wants to be with Mariah Carey.
Speaker 1: And yes, I'm pointing to the high topics from that
Speaker 1: doesn't exist as if when he was here. Because I
Speaker 1: will never give up that lady coming back to telling
Speaker 1: me still praying on a recovery.
Speaker 2: It's gonna happen. I just need to follow at.
Speaker 4: The podcast pace because she was supposed to start the podcast.
Speaker 4: I'm still following, like Dady Day Talk TV is so yesterday.
Speaker 1: Never been the same. I'm sorry, it's never been the same.
Speaker 1: My girl used to come on twice a day, please
Speaker 1: leave me alone. And I used to watch her twice
Speaker 1: a day audience money. I was in her audience several times. Yes, yes,
Speaker 1: that was actually my dream. I asked my parents multiple
Speaker 1: times for me to not be in school because I've
Speaker 1: been watching this girls that that woman, that seasoned professional
Speaker 1: shit talker of Hot goss and pop culture. I've been
Speaker 1: watching her since like middle school. I mean I was
Speaker 1: there during the six week sneak peak. I was like,
Speaker 1: tell me more when I'm a Rosa and okay, I
Speaker 1: love me some Wendy Williams and she she told y'all,
Speaker 1: the girls will do anything to be on the TV screen.
Speaker 1: But with that comes you say, Pinky can take it
Speaker 1: on the chin, so I can where now the chickens
Speaker 1: are coming home. The roofs tunning didn't coming to collect.
Speaker 1: So yeah, we'll see how it goes. I'm very interested.
Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch it regardless. I wasn't blown away, but
Speaker 1: I was jazzed that they were.
Speaker 2: Back ycause wrong.
Speaker 1: Yeah, and people don't make ending like it's hard for
Speaker 1: me to even wrap my head around the fact that
Speaker 1: the Potomac is going to be over on Sunday and
Speaker 1: I won't have my Sunday show like that is a
Speaker 1: part of my routine ritual now to just make me
Speaker 1: feel good inside.
Speaker 4: Please tell me you're going to the live Watch party
Speaker 4: and your city, Please tell me you going Sunday.
Speaker 2: I need you to love to invite me, But no
Speaker 2: booths on the ground. Girl.
Speaker 1: I would love to go, I really would, but I
Speaker 1: think I'm on the blacklist right now.
Speaker 4: Well it's not by Bravo, it's by Wellington and Reality Rundown.
Speaker 2: They're doing it in the city.
Speaker 1: And yes, I do know there there, and I know
Speaker 1: she will be there as it will be anywhere she is.
Speaker 3: You know, to the open up envelow honey, but she is.
Speaker 2: That's anywhere that you will turn a mic on and
Speaker 2: it might be on shady Yeah she yeah. She's like
Speaker 2: an opportunity for me to be shaving for the pro.
Speaker 1: Okay, she's a wild lady.
Speaker 2: She's rents reckless lady.
Speaker 1: Reckless like you got a lot of things going on
Speaker 1: in your life for you to be doing that.
Speaker 2: That's crazy.
Speaker 1: But oh my goodness, well, y'all, we are here today
Speaker 1: to talk about not the House so I was, believe
Speaker 1: it or not. We're here to talk about the other
Speaker 1: shows that are really keeping our interests. I'm impressed and
Speaker 1: amazed by how well these other co ed ensemble cass
Speaker 1: across the border able to deliver y'all watching Southern Charm
Speaker 1: even are talking about how this season is really gagging, y'all.
Speaker 1: I won't watch anything where Creg Conover has access to
Speaker 1: talk to women, let alone a black one. So and
Speaker 1: and I was proven correct because the Internet is going
Speaker 1: crazy in a buzz over what Creg Conover yelling at
Speaker 1: a woman who then sought refuge from a black woman
Speaker 1: because you was scared by the man yelling at her,
Speaker 1: I told y'all, I'm not gonna watch anything with krag
Speaker 1: con over on it. Didn't even watch the Summerhouse season
Speaker 1: where he kept popping up, can't do it.
Speaker 2: Never liked that. Man.
Speaker 1: Don't understand why y'all still do or did. But you're
Speaker 1: all saying that that's really good, and it's giving y'
Speaker 1: all the good stuff you're saying. Summerhouse premiere was apparently
Speaker 1: like the biggest premiere they've ever had, like ever, it
Speaker 1: was bananas a few million people in like seven days.
Speaker 1: That's awesome. Ye, married to medicine, firing from all cylinders.
Speaker 1: The Valley Persian style better than that other one, Yes,
Speaker 1: better than that other one.
Speaker 3: Feels like home money.
Speaker 4: I missed them, sos them so, and I like the
Speaker 4: new ones me too.
Speaker 3: But how you do a reboot money?
Speaker 4: You cannot wipe an entire cast and set some brand
Speaker 4: new people in front of me and expect me to
Speaker 4: just latch onto it because of the name I E.
Speaker 2: Rony, I E.
Speaker 3: Vanda Pump rules.
Speaker 4: That you have to work part of the legacy cast
Speaker 4: and build around that. And I think the Valley Persian
Speaker 4: side is a perfect example of how you do a
Speaker 4: reboot if you want it to be successful.
Speaker 2: I don't even know how.
Speaker 4: Vanda Pump Rules got another season, like they're already signed
Speaker 4: for season two, and I have.
Speaker 1: No idea why that's actually so crazy to me. I don't.
Speaker 1: I didn't get quite as gripped as the others, especially
Speaker 1: when they started disrespecting o GE's with the moment you
Speaker 1: come for Katie Maloney when the only reason that your
Speaker 1: show is even trending because you're talking.
Speaker 2: About Katie Maloney.
Speaker 1: It's kind of crazy to me, and far be it
Speaker 1: from me to defend Katie Maloney Swarts, Oh no, not Schwortz.
Speaker 1: Sorry Katie Maloney, but my god, don't do that. I'm
Speaker 1: missus Crimson, Bob, don't do that. She put in her work,
Speaker 1: her years of tequila, Katie whatever. The only reason y'all
Speaker 1: are on this show is because that lady tossed a
Speaker 1: drink at a man that tossed a drink at earth,
Speaker 1: that she married, yes on TV, after you gave her
Speaker 1: a ring on a string.
Speaker 2: Don't please don't play me.
Speaker 1: Don't never see those kind of classic icon' Like what
Speaker 1: sentence did I just say? He gave her a ring
Speaker 1: on a string? She married him anyway? Her bob was
Speaker 1: Crimson red. Okay, all these statements are true.
Speaker 3: Worst dye job I've ever seen.
Speaker 1: When she had that and she committed, oh my gosh,
Speaker 1: for some time like it stuck around, I said, oh, okay, girl,
Speaker 1: that's dedication that.
Speaker 2: A Lulu came alone and go under rated.
Speaker 1: She put in that work, those ladies putting that work
Speaker 1: of embarrassment all those years. You're god gonna sit here
Speaker 1: and disgruntle and disrespect them. Not on my watch, not
Speaker 1: on Eddie Cohen's internets. Okay, in television screens, no, man.
Speaker 1: But I will give next season to try if they
Speaker 1: come correct, like I will if I see, if I
Speaker 1: feel like it, maybe I'll have time during a spring
Speaker 1: break and I might check in on this past season.
Speaker 2: I doubt it.
Speaker 1: But Summer House, I'll give you. I think they're doing
Speaker 1: a good job doing both. Like you just said, they
Speaker 1: have their elders, elder statesmans. There are thirty five pluses
Speaker 1: who are summering hard and a Montak, and they have
Speaker 1: these new young kids, but all in the same house.
Speaker 1: They're phasing some out, keeping some in. This is how
Speaker 1: you keep people watching this show, and then we blink
Speaker 1: and don't even notice that you changed the whole cast
Speaker 1: in two years, you know, but you also get two
Speaker 1: more years.
Speaker 2: You know, people like to you.
Speaker 1: Gotta have we gotta have something to hold on too.
Speaker 1: If you give me a whole brand new cast, I'm
Speaker 1: not gonna do it. And the fact that they chose
Speaker 1: mj Reza and Gigi for the Valley Persian style.
Speaker 2: You weren't gonna lose.
Speaker 1: That's who we were sad to see go when the
Speaker 1: show got canceled and Mike ruined it for us, all
Speaker 1: with his anger and his toxic masculinity.
Speaker 2: Yeah, and abuse.
Speaker 1: That was really what it was. We were having a
Speaker 1: fun time and he was just t everybody.
Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly what it was.
Speaker 1: No one could be around him, women included, because he
Speaker 1: was triggering everybody, including his own.
Speaker 3: In his pants.
Speaker 4: He couldn't keep his pain in his pants and keeping
Speaker 4: his off his wife, that's the problem, exactly to.
Speaker 3: Be his wife. Did they ever get married or she was.
Speaker 1: Just so I think it was just the first wife
Speaker 1: that was Yeah, it was the first wife that had
Speaker 1: the problems and the second almost wife maybe.
Speaker 2: That's the one that's similar problem that suit him.
Speaker 4: The security then like the baby camera footage caught him
Speaker 4: putting his hands on her.
Speaker 1: With the right like, yeah, one wrote a book, one
Speaker 1: took him to court. Either way, bad experiences. All the
Speaker 1: reviews are bad of Mike Shullhead, so that's ruined it.
Speaker 2: For all of us.
Speaker 1: So I was really glad that they gave us another
Speaker 1: opportunity to get to see our groolies because I love
Speaker 1: that trio. I am captivated by this season and the
Speaker 1: dynamics within this group. Something even like that I forgot
Speaker 1: about was Gigi and her sister, for instance, not being cool.
Speaker 1: They were never cool. They have big beef back in
Speaker 1: the day, and even with all the work gg done
Speaker 1: did on herself, Gigi high about sixty seven percent of
Speaker 1: the day, Like if she awakes, she high and that's fine,
Speaker 1: and she like I'm high and still don't give a
Speaker 1: fuck about that girl, still don't fuck with her, and
Speaker 1: I'm like okay. So like the idea of MJ who
Speaker 1: is friends with Gigi and friends with Gigi's sister always
Speaker 1: has been because she's actually close to the Gig's sister's age,
Speaker 1: like she knew her just as long, just as much right,
Speaker 1: and is like back in real estate because the show ended,
Speaker 1: so they're actually back in their hustle like they have
Speaker 1: been in their hustle, these three because the air show.
Speaker 2: Okay, we're still living daddy here and there.
Speaker 1: Ye, no she is, because you're not gonna tell me
Speaker 1: that her sex toys were doing that good.
Speaker 2: I ain't hear about it so right now. So but
Speaker 2: I did know that Mj' soul real estate. MJ's like nah,
Speaker 2: nah nah, I'm I'm in it. I got bills and
Speaker 2: a child. Yeah, okay, So going back to.
Speaker 1: Real estate, she talking about she hosting an open house
Speaker 1: at she She's selling Gigi's sister house and she gonna
Speaker 1: have an open house and that's crazy, but she's like, oh,
Speaker 1: this is my friend. Like no, these are real complicated dynamics.
Speaker 1: But this is also why I liked the shots from
Speaker 1: the beginning, is that their community. They're like, no, our
Speaker 1: community is that small. It's big, but it's small in
Speaker 1: which we are all intertwined and interwoven.
Speaker 2: Bitch. Things get complicated, things.
Speaker 1: Get messy, no kidding, like selling the house of my
Speaker 1: sister when you know, me and my sister got beef,
Speaker 1: but you' from both of us who expected my sister
Speaker 1: and how to have beef? You know what I'm saying,
Speaker 1: like me as a friend, I didn't expect my friend
Speaker 1: and my other friend who are siblings to hate each
Speaker 1: other for the better part of a decade and a half.
Speaker 2: The show Gashap's been off four a minute.
Speaker 4: Beef ain't got none to do with business. No, they
Speaker 4: just trying to get her money up so she can
Speaker 4: divorce that man. Okay, trying to get away from that man.
Speaker 4: Two different things. And it's always gonna get messing with.
Speaker 4: Mauricio is involved. Don't we know that by now?
Speaker 1: How did Mauricio really get himself a low fee from
Speaker 1: three Day? He almost shows the Mauricio working harder than
Speaker 1: Cole ever has. He is spreading his goodness. He wants
Speaker 1: to be for the people. He said, we're on a
Speaker 1: break right now. I'm for everybody you.
Speaker 2: Really not paying me as I'm for you. I'm for
Speaker 2: married domes, I'm for Tom, I'm for whomever. I'm surprised
Speaker 2: he not on somehowse like y'all don't want a new house.
Speaker 2: I was about to say about a different house. What
Speaker 2: show has he not been on at this point?
Speaker 4: Because I feel like, within this month, you're gonna get
Speaker 4: that coin.
Speaker 2: He is going to.
Speaker 4: That real estate business agency is everywhere. Baby, He's gonna
Speaker 4: let you. He's gonna make you believe he is the
Speaker 4: good guy. You will not make him out to be
Speaker 4: the bad guy.
Speaker 2: You will not know. And I'm not gonna lie. It
Speaker 2: is working. I don't think he the bad guy.
Speaker 1: And I remember these pictures of him lifting bitches up
Speaker 1: on the sidewalk outside of the sushi joint and kissing him,
Speaker 1: and in the airport kissing a different woman. I remember
Speaker 1: being like, wait a minute, that's crazy. Oh no, how
Speaker 1: does Kyle feel now? I'm watching it, I'm watching him.
Speaker 1: I keep seeing him, Papa.
Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, Maricio hey doing.
Speaker 4: On Russian splits in country music videos. Long before he
Speaker 4: was liking up the girls of around his way. So
Speaker 4: I don't care be outside and I'm like he outside.
Speaker 1: He's like, I got energy, I got time, I got
Speaker 1: availability either the biggest real estate agent in like the.
Speaker 2: World or whatever.
Speaker 1: Yes, and he wants you all to nowhere. He said,
Speaker 1: I'm gonna expand my reach. Actually, so I'm going on
Speaker 1: the shots. Let the Persians know I'm coming. I'm coming.
Speaker 4: He will not stop until Million Dollar Listing is back
Speaker 4: rebooted with him and his agency.
Speaker 2: He's on the stop only.
Speaker 1: Even though, like Netflix, I thought Bien Beverly Hills was
Speaker 1: doing really well. I think that his daughters are boring
Speaker 1: and that is the problem with.
Speaker 2: Why it didn't do.
Speaker 1: It's not doing like selling Sunset things. But no, yeah,
Speaker 1: bring back Lene listen and make it the agency. I
Speaker 1: would love to see some you know, competition actually amongst them,
Speaker 1: because they're like in DC, for instance, it is really
Speaker 1: interesting because it's always just been at Southby, especially like
Speaker 1: in DC proper like has always just had the mark
Speaker 1: on all the houses. They just get them all because
Speaker 1: they're all big, and having real estate in DC is
Speaker 1: like unheard of. Nobody leaves, everybody stays there.
Speaker 2: So nice houses Southeby's tell.
Speaker 1: They just started popping up about three or four years ago.
Speaker 1: And now I saw that A one dum I made
Speaker 1: the uber stop Vanessa I did. I said, wait, he
Speaker 1: was like, oh, he was coming up at a stop
Speaker 1: sign it anyway, So I just made him so prematurely
Speaker 1: because I was like, wait, I know that, A I
Speaker 1: know that, I know you. I said, well, what are
Speaker 1: you doing here?
Speaker 2: What are you doing here?
Speaker 1: But since then, you know who else has joined the chat.
Speaker 1: I'll tell you Corkoran that of Barbara from Shark Tank.
Speaker 1: She's a big girl these days, that Corkoran because they're
Speaker 1: rec competitor. It's also Sir Hand, who I just saw
Speaker 1: in Tayson this morning. He's got agents in DC. Sir
Speaker 1: Hand was like, uh uh, I'm going there too, Ryan.
Speaker 1: And if you don't know, I watched the show on that.
Speaker 1: I don't watch the one on Netflix.
Speaker 2: Oh I like it. I like it is.
Speaker 4: One of my favorites from a million million dollar listing.
Speaker 2: No, it's really good. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 1: I actually think that the his on Netflix, especially this
Speaker 1: last season, the second season, I think it's better than
Speaker 1: like I think you could actually put it in the
Speaker 1: rankings of like selling Sunset. I think it's great one
Speaker 1: because diversity. There are more black agents, all right, they
Speaker 1: have more agency of color. There are women and men,
Speaker 1: and the men are not like obnoxious random assholes because
Speaker 1: on something Sunset, it's only you know, Ryan is just
Speaker 1: as ambitious as he's ever been, but everybody is too.
Speaker 2: And it's New York real estate. Yeah, just gorgeous.
Speaker 1: There's this black woman who's the Queen of Brooklyn. Oh
Speaker 1: my god, I want her to do. I want to
Speaker 1: be I want to have a house one day, just
Speaker 1: for her to sell it. She's a boss and she
Speaker 1: works with her husband. No, she doesn't work with her husband.
Speaker 1: Her husband works for her. Thank you, all right, I
Speaker 1: just like it's really good. It's a nice little bit.
Speaker 1: We'll be watching that before I watch Rules. I'll play
Speaker 1: that will iighly suggest that. But anyways, back to show.
Speaker 1: Not even shows the Valley Persian style, though. I love
Speaker 1: this new trio and their complicated dynamic, especially considering like
Speaker 1: and we know now in real time before this season
Speaker 1: even started that MERCEDI Mercedy and her husband Tommy, they're
Speaker 1: getting a divorce. But we're seeing like the reasons why.
Speaker 1: Like we're watching a lot of watching marriages unfold in
Speaker 1: this year of twenty twenty six. The young doors y'all
Speaker 1: are bucking the fuck out of these marriages.
Speaker 2: That's what I'm seeing. I'm watching Amanda over there.
Speaker 1: Be like, please get the fuck away from me to
Speaker 1: tell I'm like, ooh, I'm watching Mercedes be like, I
Speaker 1: can't go to the party with you, but I am
Speaker 1: going to go to the party.
Speaker 2: I'm watching her choose her friend group over her husband.
Speaker 1: She's like, this is the year of no and so
Speaker 1: that's pretty much what's happening. She's telling Tommy, uh, I
Speaker 1: need you to try and he's like, do you understand
Speaker 1: I went to jail, which is fair.
Speaker 2: Yeah, they had real beef.
Speaker 4: He was very I just wish he would have the
Speaker 4: conversation in that manner with Mercedes that he has with
Speaker 4: us in his confessional, Like he's saying that, listen, I
Speaker 4: had to deal with anger issues after that. I had
Speaker 4: to deal with therapy because of it.
Speaker 3: It caused a lot of strife in his life, you
Speaker 3: know what I mean.
Speaker 4: So I understand where he's coming from, you know, And
Speaker 4: I just wish he would have that type of conversation
Speaker 4: instead of when he's talking to Mercedes. It's like I'm
Speaker 4: not going at like it's really aggressive. But he explained
Speaker 4: hisself so much better to us when he he.
Speaker 2: Yes. And it's really absurd because like your wife choosing
Speaker 2: her friend group and the check over her husband now
Speaker 2: that it's back, like I imagine, was it always this difficult?
Speaker 2: You know? Like what made it now? The time?
Speaker 1: If not that filming, like that's the thing that changed.
Speaker 1: Filming must have been hard as hell for her like
Speaker 1: to go back and forth. You won't do like, you
Speaker 1: won't come to the group things, so I have to
Speaker 1: film at to go back, you know what I mean,
Speaker 1: Like the back and forth without it being her choice.
Speaker 1: I can see like being like a stressor. But so
Speaker 1: just in general, if these are the people that choose
Speaker 1: to be my friends that I also I'm going to
Speaker 1: be choosing to be working with, I could see it
Speaker 1: getting to that point where he's like, I barely even
Speaker 1: like you doing this show because you had to work
Speaker 1: around him.
Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, who are we kidding? It didn't work
Speaker 4: back then, you know it was more so you know
Speaker 4: how we do. Sometimes we want the marriage and the
Speaker 4: children or than we and we we overlooked the red flags.
Speaker 4: We overlook the stuff that's staring us the right many face.
Speaker 2: Yeah, before she got pregnant.
Speaker 4: Yeah, way, way, way, way way was trying to get
Speaker 4: pregnant when they were dating. Okay, Like you know, before
Speaker 4: it even got to that point, we saw the wedding.
Speaker 4: I mean the wedding bowls were a mess, you know,
Speaker 4: like a mess.
Speaker 1: I do remember that, like this show, we wanted to
Speaker 1: go back and rewatch Shaws because it's bringing back such
Speaker 1: old feels like when they keep flashing back to old
Speaker 1: scenes from shots of Sunset because we're on the same show,
Speaker 1: the same network, so obviously we can. That's always so
Speaker 1: I'm like, damn piece, how that went down? And y'all
Speaker 1: have not changed your mind. It's been easily ten plus years,
Speaker 1: it really has. Okay, there's a scene or an episode
Speaker 1: I want to talk about specifically where they go to
Speaker 1: Palm Springs that I found captivating because one thing about
Speaker 1: these people.
Speaker 2: This cast is they're interwoven, very.
Speaker 1: Very It's not quite the same like where they all
Speaker 1: went to I school together like Shats of Sunset that
Speaker 1: was like the original premise, but they know each other
Speaker 1: enough culturally and socially that you know, them going on
Speaker 1: a trip together would make sense. But they don't know
Speaker 1: enough about each other to know how this was going
Speaker 1: to go down. So that was kind of like interesting
Speaker 1: to see, like who choosing how the Shawn's girlies started
Speaker 1: like bucking for rooms because they've been in situations right
Speaker 1: where they've been like not a good room, or they've
Speaker 1: been you know, mean to each other about it, but
Speaker 1: the other ones had like no urgency to get a
Speaker 1: good room.
Speaker 4: How it goes, and I think from our ogs, they're
Speaker 4: gonna expect the best rooms, right.
Speaker 1: Like hello, and did and and they took that serious.
Speaker 1: They were like, no, you don't understand, and that's fine. Also,
Speaker 1: we had kids on a trip. That was crazy, especially
Speaker 1: when Housewives watchers know that Wendy and Ashley Garby's first
Speaker 1: fight was the fact that actually had to bring her
Speaker 1: baby and Witty could not on the little quick cash
Speaker 1: trip around the corner. Approximately, Yeah, it was just like
Speaker 1: in Maryland, but like over there, like in another part.
Speaker 1: So that's kind of crazy because they got a whole
Speaker 1: couple on this show.
Speaker 2: There's a lot of couples were in the valley idea and.
Speaker 1: Everybody's got kids, okay, And one of the couples brought
Speaker 1: all kids and the nanny said, hey, nanny.
Speaker 3: That the first we always have.
Speaker 4: Who The only one that brought to nanny was Kenya.
Speaker 2: I was gonna say, I've only ever met nanny on
Speaker 2: a trip.
Speaker 1: That was because Kenya was hosting the trip and baby
Speaker 1: girl was a baby and couldn't film. So a lot
Speaker 1: of reasons to have a nanny for that, but this,
Speaker 1: I said, Mark.
Speaker 3: Didn't want the baby to film.
Speaker 1: Exactly the baby could not film because the dad was
Speaker 1: being in a whole about it.
Speaker 2: He wasn't being very good and kind, but yeah, it.
Speaker 1: Was so interesting to see that because and I think
Speaker 1: didn't he stay like somewhere else too because of it?
Speaker 1: And it became even some beef amongst some of the
Speaker 1: other cast members, like MJ who called him was like, hey,
Speaker 1: we're supposed to be from a show together, aka okay.
Speaker 1: What she actually said was, hey, we miss you, guys,
Speaker 1: like we want to see you, and they're like, yeah,
Speaker 1: we got a round up three kids, so kind of
Speaker 1: can't just come on.
Speaker 2: A willy nilly. It will be there by eleven.
Speaker 1: Thirty okay, around the same time we're getting the sunscreen okay,
Speaker 1: And they're like, no, we started filming at eight for breakfast, okay.
Speaker 1: Gigi's over here making eggs for her maybe non maybe
Speaker 1: husband ex husband that she kind of want but don't want,
Speaker 1: but he she just needs somebody new to pay for
Speaker 1: her life, even if he is a piece of shit
Speaker 1: and addictar, which is.
Speaker 4: She's like the Elizabeth Taylor of Persia's like, girl, literally.
Speaker 2: You're so.
Speaker 1: You just said you married him for funnies like to
Speaker 1: lol and get your ex man to be mad, but
Speaker 1: you met at him for sleeping with somebody else.
Speaker 2: Because they were your friend. But he wasn't really your husband,
Speaker 2: he was your l L. Yeah, I thought shed a
Speaker 2: reason to be mad.
Speaker 3: Yeah, all the time. She always ain't one.
Speaker 1: Thing about her, She gonna find a reason to be angry.
Speaker 1: I kind of love that about her. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 1: I know it's unhealthy, and that's why I'm happy she's
Speaker 1: found marijuana, because that's how I and I'm here to
Speaker 1: tell you it's one angry bitch to another. It helps
Speaker 1: tell that girl like, why does it she right in California?
Speaker 2: Oh? Maybe because it's eloy?
Speaker 4: Why is telling is she had while I'm not on
Speaker 4: the show? She had her own line? Why are we
Speaker 4: fixated on these sex toys more than her? I thought
Speaker 4: that made sense. She has majuana line? Why they weren't
Speaker 4: filming that.
Speaker 2: Was her thing or so should have made sense.
Speaker 1: I don't understand why is were telling I didn't know
Speaker 1: you to be a sexy vixen girly.
Speaker 2: You can't actually get a man like? Why would that be?
Speaker 2: We didn't even know you to have many the ones
Speaker 2: you had?
Speaker 1: You just fought with in and out of marriage that
Speaker 1: she only lasted a month. This is not the first
Speaker 1: time she's done this. Y'all't remember that other one.
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's his.
Speaker 1: Name literally, like her third marriage, Yeah, but her third
Speaker 1: sham marriage, her third annulled marriage.
Speaker 2: Yes, not even divorced, her third annulled marriage. Like, she
Speaker 2: just keep being like.
Speaker 1: We got married in Vegas or over there, and then
Speaker 1: I was like, fuck you, you're mean. I don't like you.
Speaker 1: I'm gonna curse you out, and I'm gonna leave thirty
Speaker 1: days later, and then I get it annulled. It's kind
Speaker 1: of her, kind of her tea, like okay.
Speaker 4: Is really one of the because usually when you're off
Speaker 4: a show, I unfollow you because I have to pick
Speaker 4: up following more cast new members, and I can't stay
Speaker 4: unless you intrigue me. Gigi is one of the few
Speaker 4: people that, while not filming a show, I still followed.
Speaker 4: It's saying, yeah, she had her own marijuana line that
Speaker 4: she's started, like.
Speaker 2: I would watch her car. I like Gigi. I find her.
Speaker 1: Compelling and easy to like, even though she's so angry,
Speaker 1: Like she's so angry, but I love when like when
Speaker 1: she was yelling at Old Girl and this the Palm
Speaker 1: Springs Dinner.
Speaker 2: Y'all, if you're not.
Speaker 1: Watching, there is a lady on this show there really
Speaker 1: is confused about what tax bracket she's in and came from.
Speaker 2: And I'm trying to figure out how she's confused.
Speaker 1: Because I kind of got the picture pretty quick from
Speaker 1: a husband in five minutes and from her realtor in
Speaker 1: one minute.
Speaker 2: Who is Reza?
Speaker 1: Right? She like, I don't want to live in the
Speaker 1: valley and he's like, yeah, but you got the valley money.
Speaker 1: Both husband and I agree saying your money is valley money,
Speaker 1: not on the other side of the hill. And to
Speaker 1: the point where she is disrespecting these people's home, Okay,
Speaker 1: are getting offended at the table because she was like, oh,
Speaker 1: the valley, it's chain restaurants and people with really jogging,
Speaker 1: and like, eh, I just can't understand.
Speaker 2: So it sounds like the suburbs, like.
Speaker 1: We understanding what she's hating so much about it, because also,
Speaker 1: you're on a show that is based on the valley,
Speaker 1: but she wants it to be like why are you
Speaker 1: here and where do you think you'll go after that?
Speaker 2: Beverly Hills.
Speaker 3: She wants to be in Ballet are real bad, and they.
Speaker 1: Will not cast you on that other show, My love,
Speaker 1: you will be remaining on the valley, and then then
Speaker 1: the storyline will be about how your husband is about
Speaker 1: to go bankrupt trying to keep that house, and he's little.
Speaker 3: Ahad of her. He seems scared of her.
Speaker 2: Like I mean, she's a harsh woman.
Speaker 1: She is, and so Giju starts yelling at her, and
Speaker 1: then you're like, oh, never mind, ain't none of me
Speaker 1: scared of She cower quick. I tried to connect with Hermione, like,
Speaker 1: I try to understand that, you know, I don't.
Speaker 4: After her father's sick, she's going through something. But that
Speaker 4: doesn't that doesn't mean you're not pretentious, right she is.
Speaker 4: I tried, mine, I tried, I know, I.
Speaker 1: Know, similar to how we tried with Angel over there, Potoba.
Speaker 1: It just didn't work.
Speaker 4: It just didn't. It didn't work in your face. But
Speaker 4: that's what I know. I listen, I fully acquiesced.
Speaker 1: I said, never mind, footsteps and give I said, never mind.
Speaker 1: You gotta choose one of sadness or madness. You gotta
Speaker 1: choose one.
Speaker 2: Of the other. Y'all can't have both.
Speaker 1: We don't need this much sadness and madness on Potomac
Speaker 1: and I feel similar to you about this ve this
Speaker 1: Valley show, but I'm interested enough to keep her because
Speaker 1: it is compelling television.
Speaker 2: And her husband, who is.
Speaker 1: Order than you in the primary breadwinner, is so afraid
Speaker 1: of his wife and telling her no, and everyone is like,
Speaker 1: not only are you wrong about how you feel about
Speaker 1: the valley, your pretentious and this is the only place
Speaker 1: you can afford to be. Yeah, that's crazy how everybody
Speaker 1: around here like, I just don't want to live in
Speaker 1: the valley and they're like, yeah, but you do. And
Speaker 1: she's like, yeah, I was forced to live in his
Speaker 1: home and gave you can get a bigger one, but
Speaker 1: it's not gonna be on the other side of the hill.
Speaker 2: And her husband's like, I don't know, we don't have
Speaker 2: that kind of money.
Speaker 1: I agree we should not move, and she won't hear it,
Speaker 1: and he's sitting right next to her. I said, no,
Speaker 1: that's a that's a different kind of shopping, d Lulu,
Speaker 1: I don't have that one. My wife is very blessed.
Speaker 4: Well, go push that jewelry a little bit more than
Speaker 4: because it's definitely given caviar taste on a tuna budget, honey.
Speaker 1: Okay, tuna tuna like albacor Trader Joe's like chicken out
Speaker 1: of tea.
Speaker 2: Okay, it's giving off brand.
Speaker 1: Like Russa said, it's not a good time to move
Speaker 1: because your interest rate is under four percent, and she's
Speaker 1: like yeah, but he's like, no, that is factually, like
Speaker 1: financially a bad decision. And her husband was like, we
Speaker 1: can't afford to move, period, and she's like, I just
Speaker 1: don't want to live here anymore.
Speaker 2: You're sucked.
Speaker 4: And what I don't like the valley, I mean the valley.
Speaker 4: I can't afford to live in the valley, Like that's
Speaker 4: not either place to live. Oh ye're acting like.
Speaker 2: Christie'll be selling the hell out of them homes in
Speaker 2: the valley.
Speaker 1: I'll be seeing her on selling Sunset, hitting the pavement
Speaker 1: to Larsa, showing homes to Larsa, Pippin and the like,
Speaker 1: Like she's out there and Laus couldn't afford that home either, Yeah,
Speaker 1: in the valley.
Speaker 2: So there you go, like.
Speaker 1: Your husband can't afford to give you a home in
Speaker 1: the valley like this was one of his fixer reppers
Speaker 1: or whatever, and you have a place to live I
Speaker 1: think you're doing great, and now you're on a TV
Speaker 1: show about it, and I think she's a bad friend.
Speaker 2: I don't like her. No, I don't like her the way.
Speaker 1: She played her friend, being like, y'all, her friend got
Speaker 1: a whole skincare oil line, and she was like, well,
Speaker 1: it's not really a business because there's only one oil.
Speaker 2: I said, oh damn, that's it. To Karen Huger read,
Speaker 2: I'm trying to say, mine's a three wick, hers the
Speaker 2: one wick, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1: But then to be like she put the oil on
Speaker 1: her dogs, and when Girley brings up to her, it
Speaker 1: kind of was disrespectful. What other people bring up that, Hey,
Speaker 1: it was disrespectful for you to be like, m this
Speaker 1: oil smell good, puts it on her dogs. Well, yeah,
Speaker 1: I treat my dogs like my babies. And it's like, okay,
Speaker 1: but it was disrespectful because there's still dogs. I cheat
Speaker 1: my dog like my baby. I would not put that
Speaker 1: oil on my dog, even if I planned to in
Speaker 1: front of the person they gave it to me, I'm
Speaker 1: gonna tell you.
Speaker 2: And Tena said, watch this, here comes this serum.
Speaker 1: Catch that okay, hello, and then the audacity for miss
Speaker 1: snooty Buttuti to be like, but how often have you
Speaker 1: bought my jewelry without a discount?
Speaker 2: But she bought it? To do she bought it, but she.
Speaker 1: Bought it, right, thousands of dollars on your jewelry. She's
Speaker 1: giving you this serum for free. I don't understand what
Speaker 1: we've been talking about.
Speaker 2: Right exactly. Yeah, I don't think she. I don't like
Speaker 2: how she treated tannat at all. All. Tanna deserved better.
Speaker 2: She was a good friend and like her. Yeah, like y'all.
Speaker 1: There's even a couple on there that his wife passed
Speaker 1: very suddenly. Amir and Natasha. Yeah, Amir and Natasha. Amir
Speaker 1: bless his heart. He is married with kids to Natasha,
Speaker 1: and Natasha has got to be the most gracious wife
Speaker 1: I've seen. But she's very raw and real about how
Speaker 1: it affects her. In fact, she was just they bring
Speaker 1: a medium to the house. You know, we've seen that before,
Speaker 1: but they bring a medium and it's a lot of
Speaker 1: people have lost on this cast, and there's been a
Speaker 1: lot of loss, especially parents. You know. I remember when Reza,
Speaker 1: you know, his dad, and it was a big deal.
Speaker 1: He loved his dad, He loved his dad. I remember
Speaker 1: thinking he had a really good dad, you know, thinking
Speaker 1: about like just how old res is him being gay,
Speaker 1: him marrying a white man and then pink person and
Speaker 1: living in LA and his dad was like so accepting
Speaker 1: and loving. It was really sweet. So that but also
Speaker 1: a mirror work at he His wife now was just
Speaker 1: concerned about how he would feel when connecting with the
Speaker 1: medium because of his own grief. I thought that was like,
Speaker 1: it's really compelling because how is he able to grieve?
Speaker 1: He didn't, that's not And she said something so profound,
Speaker 1: like it wasn't his ex wife, like it was his
Speaker 1: own Beyonce.
Speaker 2: They were going to be married, they were going to
Speaker 2: have a life.
Speaker 1: They had, you know, exit and they were gonna do
Speaker 1: this life together and he didn't want to lose her.
Speaker 1: She's gone, and so I'm like, wow, she's really emotionally mature.
Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm not there yet, kind of trying to
Speaker 4: fight a ghost, Honey, I am not there yet.
Speaker 2: I cannot.
Speaker 3: I just love.
Speaker 4: And that's another reason why I love the show Money,
Speaker 4: Like the way I'm invested in storylines of people in
Speaker 4: their first season. It's just it speaks volumes, because usually
Speaker 4: it's like we're watching from a stance of vie. Prove yourself,
Speaker 4: let me see what you got right, And like I
Speaker 4: was invested in that story.
Speaker 3: I was invested in Greg and so invested. Yeah, Greg and.
Speaker 4: Tanna and how I really feel like Greg and Tanner
Speaker 4: would not be together if they didn't have that like
Speaker 4: horrific car accident together on like their damn their first date.
Speaker 4: It's just like I'm so invested in their storylines and
Speaker 4: it just it speaks violent.
Speaker 3: I love this show.
Speaker 1: I really do know, I really do, And I am
Speaker 1: more excited even to see the storylines of the people
Speaker 1: that I don't know from Shaw's those are even more
Speaker 1: compelling and.
Speaker 2: Interesting to watch. Right now, yeh been like.
Speaker 1: Gigi trying to sell her sex toys with her ex
Speaker 1: husband who she needs to bankroll her life again. So
Speaker 1: but he called her a stupid idiot and she still
Speaker 1: want him to bankroll her life. And then she got
Speaker 1: mad to MJ made him eggs the next morning, like
Speaker 1: what in the chaos?
Speaker 3: You invited him?
Speaker 2: There? You invited him? And MJ and them are like,
Speaker 2: didn't you want us to be nice?
Speaker 1: I'm making breakfast for everybody, and I'm gonna say but
Speaker 1: not you, Dinnis.
Speaker 4: She's mad at you this hour, like, yeah, you invited
Speaker 4: him here.
Speaker 3: You put everybody in an awkward situation.
Speaker 2: She was like, okay, but you're being too nice.
Speaker 4: Then you had then you have poor sweet little Adam.
Speaker 4: Go kick him out, Adam, and Adam.
Speaker 2: Is such a rider, died. I was like, oh, Adam done.
Speaker 1: He's like yeah, I mean she has me doing her
Speaker 1: dirty work, and I don't love that, but I would
Speaker 1: do anything for her.
Speaker 2: I love her so much. I said, I'm so obsessed.
Speaker 1: I want to be friends with ad I want to
Speaker 1: go to drinks and take a puff with Gigi, Adam
Speaker 1: and Reza. I'm sorry, Adam and Gigi almost look dream
Speaker 1: blunt rotation.
Speaker 2: May'd be so fun. It would be so fun.
Speaker 1: And Resul would just come in and like yell at us,
Speaker 1: like but in a fun way for like being high, like.
Speaker 2: This bitch is high all the time, Like he would
Speaker 2: just say that.
Speaker 4: The fact that Gigi lit up at Scott and Scott's
Speaker 4: backyard when I said.
Speaker 2: I was so mad about it, but they were, I'm
Speaker 2: so confused.
Speaker 4: I was trying to figure out I don't know the
Speaker 4: answer to.
Speaker 1: That money, Like I would probably do something very similar,
Speaker 1: like I was out.
Speaker 3: It's California, so it's legal. Is it bad that she
Speaker 3: did it?
Speaker 1: She said, kids, I understand if she was doing it
Speaker 1: in the kitchen, say that smoke etiquette?
Speaker 4: I wanted, like, what's the smoke etiquette these days? Like
Speaker 4: far away from the house? Should she leave?
Speaker 1: Like I just want to know, Like would you have
Speaker 1: said that if it was a cigarette, in which case,
Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Second hand marijuana smoke may
Speaker 1: or may not exhibit some symptoms. Secondhand nicotine smoke will
Speaker 1: kill your ass one day.
Speaker 2: Figure out. It was just giving she wants.
Speaker 1: She really likes to be snooty, like she just needs
Speaker 1: to correct someone, She needs to admonish someone for doing
Speaker 1: the wrong thing. It's giving, like first season Derry, Like,
Speaker 1: y'all remember when Derey was how unsufferable that bitch was
Speaker 1: back in the day. She insufferable now too, but you
Speaker 1: don't remember how insufferable Derrey was a high horse to
Speaker 1: the heavens.
Speaker 2: And you were like, are you the richest bitch on
Speaker 2: the show? Or not? No?
Speaker 1: And she not and usually not so, but acted like
Speaker 1: it for sure. She was like, it's just usually the
Speaker 1: champagne is served out of a glass. It's out of
Speaker 1: a flu and that says, this is the wine glass.
Speaker 4: Then glass, you sound just like a body.
Speaker 1: I can't because it's fake. It's easy to imm it's easier.
Speaker 1: I'm just saying this gets what it gives. This guy
Speaker 1: is the way it's given, a sneak level of like,
Speaker 1: I'm sorry, now, where did you come from?
Speaker 5: This?
Speaker 1: Ye hit us with the I don't think I'm it's
Speaker 1: silver sprewing in my mouth. I'm very down to earth?
Speaker 2: What Earth?
Speaker 3: Who's Earth?
Speaker 2: Not ours? The valley is not even down to earth.
Speaker 2: The valley is aspirational living for many of us.
Speaker 1: I remember when Arianna bought that damn house with that scrown,
Speaker 1: like that sneaky looking man.
Speaker 2: I remember when they bought that house. I was cheering
Speaker 2: for them people.
Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, big house in the valley.
Speaker 1: We're doing it, jack even Jackson Britty. I was like, damn,
Speaker 1: I don't know how they're gonna keep that big house
Speaker 1: in the valley. They did it spoiler alert.
Speaker 2: I was like, how they gonna do that? They can't.
Speaker 2: They can't make that kind of money unemployed.
Speaker 1: That's crazy first thing I thought of, And so for
Speaker 1: them to be on this show. My girl, you know what,
Speaker 1: why don't you get to sell on that jewelry and
Speaker 1: then you go live in bel air or but on
Speaker 1: the other side of the hell.
Speaker 4: And at this point, I'm gonna buy Gigi's jewey first.
Speaker 4: I'm buying a Volley Girl necklace before I worry about
Speaker 4: what Sky is selling.
Speaker 2: Okay, okay, listen.
Speaker 3: A Spike jewelry store.
Speaker 2: I loved it, amazing.
Speaker 1: Gigi got fifty cent energy and I really do. I
Speaker 1: do love that she just be high. That's what keeps
Speaker 1: her a dial level back. That's what keeps her from
Speaker 1: going to jail. And I love that for her. Not
Speaker 1: gonna lie. Ggi and I would be such good friends.
Speaker 1: Call me what's your favorite strand?
Speaker 2: Girl? I just want to know what was it? What
Speaker 2: was it? What were you doing?
Speaker 1: What was what did you light up at Scott's party?
Speaker 1: What got her so upset? Because what it was was
Speaker 1: she was upset. You didn't ask her if she wanted some.
Speaker 2: She just massed.
Speaker 1: She don't get invited. I'm telling you, Scott has never
Speaker 1: been invited to the rotation.
Speaker 2: And it's kidding that.
Speaker 3: And up and saying I thought he was gonna be.
Speaker 2: Over eighty people here. She said, good word a man
Speaker 2: and wear a man you.
Speaker 1: I was told I would see some people, and you're
Speaker 1: telling me it ain't no people to see. Yes, And
Speaker 1: I treated her husband because the bartender wasn't there.
Speaker 2: It was like, yo, she's so mean to her, so
Speaker 2: mean just.
Speaker 1: In general, like, god, damn girl, come down, bring it down.
Speaker 1: Your man is stressed. That man looks stressed. Okay, but y'all,
Speaker 1: if you're not watching shots of sunset or oh nothing
Speaker 1: out the Valley Persian style, you are missing out, especially
Speaker 1: if you did like Shaza Sunset, because I'm gonna say, arguably,
Speaker 1: this is better.
Speaker 2: This is a lot easier for me to watch than
Speaker 2: the last two or three seasons of Shasa Sunset. Like
Speaker 2: the talk, there's not a toxic man that's pissing me
Speaker 2: off right now. In fact, most of the men are
Speaker 2: the ones I like the most. Yeah, they're the same one.
Speaker 2: They're the same who know it's really good over there.
Speaker 2: So y'all go ahead and get on into that.
Speaker 1: And then you know, before we had out of here,
Speaker 1: I also wanted to talk about speaking of shows that
Speaker 1: had to prove themselves.
Speaker 2: The girl's over there and married to Medicine.
Speaker 1: They since season one, they've been great, but that's like
Speaker 1: usually lighting don't strike twice. They are now been on
Speaker 1: how many seasons?
Speaker 2: What is this eleven?
Speaker 4: Yeah?
Speaker 2: I think it's is this? Is this the twelfth season.
Speaker 2: It's a lot of seasons and they're still very good,
Speaker 2: highly watchable. Yeah, we're on season twelve. Yep, Oh my god,
Speaker 2: yeah we're on season twelve.
Speaker 1: That is crazy and they've survived and outstood the test
Speaker 1: of times. Like, I am having such a good time
Speaker 1: watching this season.
Speaker 2: I agree.
Speaker 1: I I kind of can't get enough. We head to
Speaker 1: Jamaica and that's pretty much gonna be the best thing
Speaker 1: for me. One thing about me when they going a
Speaker 1: couple's trip, when there married to medicine girls go on
Speaker 1: a trip, I love it when they travel the best
Speaker 1: every trip episode, every trip delivers no livers, okay doctor,
Speaker 1: Oh my god. I love it when it because I
Speaker 1: love Damon and Heavenly on a trip. I love when
Speaker 1: they try to be like at the out marriage couple
Speaker 1: each other.
Speaker 2: They be like, no, I'm the best married couple. No, Heavenly.
Speaker 1: I just want he only to know right now as
Speaker 1: much as I love you, you and Damon's marriage seems
Speaker 1: so sound because that man is so solid.
Speaker 2: He's just chilling because of how Damon is as an Indian. Yeah,
Speaker 2: that's that's.
Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with how well, no tea,
Speaker 1: no Shane. I'm sure y'all work very hard on your marriage,
Speaker 1: but I also know that man works very hard. Just
Speaker 1: let it go and been letting it go. Y'all are
Speaker 1: able to keep going.
Speaker 3: Yes, it's an art form.
Speaker 4: I mean, like and I have to be honest, doctor
Speaker 4: Heavenly every episode lately she's making me question why people
Speaker 4: she thinks people are gonna vote for her, Like between
Speaker 4: the cursing children, you mean, okay, like the cursing at
Speaker 4: the children in this episode. The episode prior when they
Speaker 4: were in Florida, when she tried to like campaign on
Speaker 4: the boat.
Speaker 3: Her speech made no sense.
Speaker 4: When she announced and had her little like campaign event
Speaker 4: in the parking lot across the street from the municipal building,
Speaker 4: that was a mess, But she was like, come on,
Speaker 4: sit down, get a dance girl, Get you a real
Speaker 4: campaign manager.
Speaker 3: Quiet is not it. You need a real campaign.
Speaker 1: Manage if you're gonna actually do this, I'd argue you
Speaker 1: shouldn't and don't.
Speaker 2: Doctor Damon, he might agree with me.
Speaker 4: Yeah, we got a little sneak peek clip of him saying, like, yoh,
Speaker 4: I'm not really down for her running, but this is
Speaker 4: what she one still is like he's not for it,
Speaker 4: he said at all.
Speaker 1: I mean, I get it. I don't want to up
Speaker 1: in my life. I don't want everybody in my business.
Speaker 1: I don't need people making fun of me talking about
Speaker 1: us crazy.
Speaker 2: But this is also we've created this monster.
Speaker 1: The Delulu that we've allowed Doctor Damon included of letting
Speaker 1: heavenly think that she can say and do anything because
Speaker 1: she says she says that she can, she cannot, like
Speaker 1: we let her get away with saying anything. And I
Speaker 1: don't understand the platform or the reasoning. I think it's
Speaker 1: not a great idea when you go on TV to
Speaker 1: further Like, I just don't think that politics and TV mix.
Speaker 2: Hello, I'm just gonna leave that right there.
Speaker 1: I think the reality TV personalities in politics should maybe
Speaker 1: remain separate because one is.
Speaker 2: Serious the other is entertainment.
Speaker 1: And I think we should leave the serious things to
Speaker 1: the serious people. See no shape, oh well money. Doctor
Speaker 1: Hamiy is also a dentist and doctor Damion works in
Speaker 1: the er. So is that serious stuff?
Speaker 2: And is? But that's not how well we know them? Ass.
Speaker 1: Let me start with a lot of y'all like to
Speaker 1: say myself included, you would not want your obgyn on TV.
Speaker 1: Though we see a lot of people go to Doctor
Speaker 1: Jackie and Doctor Simon on the TV show.
Speaker 2: A lot of people have said they wouldn't want theirs
Speaker 2: on TV.
Speaker 3: I want you visit tomorrow. You think I want a
Speaker 3: camera my face?
Speaker 1: I do not, absolutely the hell not. Don't want it
Speaker 1: at all. And I don't want someone coming to ask
Speaker 1: me when I go in there? Would you be interested
Speaker 1: in signing and release that? No?
Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
Speaker 1: Now? I know that the doctor's never coming to see me.
Speaker 1: She's over there getting paid. She's not gonna come and
Speaker 1: see me for three minutes if she on the clock filming.
Speaker 1: If I don't say yes, do I get to see
Speaker 1: the doctor?
Speaker 2: Is she? Will she even come?
Speaker 4: Like?
Speaker 2: I don't?
Speaker 4: So?
Speaker 1: Okay, So if you wouldn't want your doctor on TV,
Speaker 1: and you wouldn't want to see a TV doctor.
Speaker 2: Would you want to vote?
Speaker 1: Would you want them running your coach, running your anything,
Speaker 1: your country? You say your counsel, you want you wouldn't
Speaker 1: want to put doctor evenly in charge of putting a
Speaker 1: stop sign in the ground.
Speaker 2: That doesn't seem like the best idea.
Speaker 4: Yeah, Like I and I want to believe in her.
Speaker 4: I do feel like, you know, she's a smart woman,
Speaker 4: she's a business woman.
Speaker 3: But I mean Simone.
Speaker 4: Said it, She's like, if it was just about being
Speaker 4: a mom and a business owner.
Speaker 3: We all be running, okay.
Speaker 4: So I want to believe in her, but it be
Speaker 4: like her speeches are just not there yet.
Speaker 2: The speech is for.
Speaker 1: Me, and that's what it's gonna be. Sure that would
Speaker 1: be the deciding factor. Yeah, I don't know. I don't
Speaker 1: think she should Uh, I don't think she should run.
Speaker 1: I don't think why should be with the mans that
Speaker 1: she's with. I think she should stop looking silly on
Speaker 1: TV with another man.
Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm so glad that they're broke up already. I'm
Speaker 4: glad that's over. God, And I just feel like it
Speaker 4: was something rushed into to say, Hey, I got this
Speaker 4: sexy man that I'm gonna take on this show and
Speaker 4: flaugh in front of Doctor G and Sweet Tea to
Speaker 4: let them know I'm good. I'm doing better than y'all.
Speaker 4: It was rushed. It wasn't well thought out, not enough discussions.
Speaker 4: They rush right into IVF. I don't think King educated
Speaker 4: himself enough on the IVF or there was a discussion
Speaker 4: of he just thought it was gonna work the first
Speaker 4: round and it was gonna be good, and then he
Speaker 4: mentioned the hormones, the attitude every episode, like he said himself,
Speaker 4: and he thought it was don't be a one time thing, yeah, like.
Speaker 2: Or read an article reading Instagram. Yeah, at the top.
Speaker 1: There are so many ways to like minimize how much
Speaker 1: educating yourself you have to do to still be like
Speaker 1: caught up on not saying the wrong thing or putting
Speaker 1: your foot in your mouth multiple times, yeah, or not
Speaker 1: getting to a place where you're so misunderstanding and ignorant
Speaker 1: to what you agreed.
Speaker 3: To because so passive aggressive.
Speaker 2: Too, like every passive aggressive and he.
Speaker 4: Says things like a joke, but he really means it,
Speaker 4: you know what I mean, Like, and it's just it's
Speaker 4: it's kind of awkward to watch at this point. It's
Speaker 4: been that way the entire season and now.
Speaker 2: Oh it's been hard to watch all season. That's time.
Speaker 2: She keep crying.
Speaker 1: I'm like girl, no, please stime letting these men make
Speaker 1: you look foolish. I need you to stop because I
Speaker 1: believe that of the way, like you know you want
Speaker 1: to believe in Doctor Heavenly, I also feel that way
Speaker 1: about Quad. I want the best for Quad. I've liked
Speaker 1: Squad since the first episode of the show, Like I
Speaker 1: even loved her and Mariah. I'm not even gonna not
Speaker 1: hold out for that friendship one day. I really loved
Speaker 1: those ladies as like organically good people to watch on TV,
Speaker 1: excellent TV. Like I want the best for Quad. But
Speaker 1: her her biggest flaw, her biggest character flaws that she's straight.
Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you that right now. You thinks she
Speaker 1: needs this flip it, that's it, that's the problem, think
Speaker 1: about it. Yeah, because that's the only reason why she
Speaker 1: is begging for this man, begging for this life, this family,
Speaker 1: this situation, but from a man, from a man that
Speaker 1: makes her even feel unwanted, Like she is begging to
Speaker 1: feel support from your partner, at least on the you know,
Speaker 1: not in real time, but at the time that this
Speaker 1: is being filmed. And that's a hard thing to watch
Speaker 1: for someone that you know is smart, charismatic, funny, capable
Speaker 1: of being so successful is successful, you know, great TV, solid,
Speaker 1: Like you know what I mean. Like, it's just it's
Speaker 1: so easy to watch her and fun to watch her
Speaker 1: even when she's in a fight. It's so good to
Speaker 1: watch Quad, except for when she's with a man, and
Speaker 1: that is the long and short of it, or about
Speaker 1: a man.
Speaker 4: Yeah, I've had people come on threads because I think
Speaker 4: I was threatened about it when the show was on
Speaker 4: last Sunday and I was saying, like, I honestly would
Speaker 4: rather watch Doctor G and Sweet Tea than this, and
Speaker 4: some people were saying I prefer. They were saying, I
Speaker 4: prefer that or Quad single. They prefer even if she's
Speaker 4: not single, if she's dating and just keeps it off
Speaker 4: the show, the people prefer Quad.
Speaker 2: It seems alone.
Speaker 4: They think that she's a force in herself, you know,
Speaker 4: like you said, she's charismatic, she's smart, she's exciting, she's
Speaker 4: always saying a funny quote.
Speaker 2: You know, gosh, witty, very witty.
Speaker 4: The people enjoy her just as she is. Everyone cares
Speaker 4: for her, and they don't want to see her single.
Speaker 4: They want to see her in love, but they'd rather
Speaker 4: not see it on the show, is what I'm doing.
Speaker 1: But since you can't do it, well, maybe take the
Speaker 1: Giselle approach and put that. If you're determined to stay
Speaker 1: straight and find a man, put it in the gazette.
Speaker 2: Put it do the Gisell.
Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't apparently get to need to see it
Speaker 1: because it's gonna look foolish.
Speaker 2: And you know what, I'm gonna.
Speaker 1: Amend my own thought that I just put out yesterday
Speaker 1: about Giselle needs to show us who she dating.
Speaker 2: Jisette was a terrible dater I forgot. I don't like
Speaker 2: seeing Jaseelle one day.
Speaker 1: It's like you're being like, this isn't a relationship real
Speaker 1: and her picker is bad. So maybe I don't need
Speaker 1: to see it because I want to know that she's happy,
Speaker 1: because there's something she engages in conversation with Jamal. I'm like,
Speaker 1: how did you do this three times minimum? And how
Speaker 1: did you hold a conversation that led to three like
Speaker 1: three separate times, let alone marriage for years in the
Speaker 1: first ladyship because Jamal to me, I don't get it.
Speaker 2: I don't I don't get.
Speaker 1: It, and it doesn't give charisma and there's no risk
Speaker 1: to me, it's not rising.
Speaker 4: It's given. It's the money it's given. It was the money, yeah,
Speaker 4: I guess, but she wasn't poor. I'm just confused, you
Speaker 4: know what I mean. Yeah, like she went to Hampton,
Speaker 4: she's like speaking, you know what I mean? You know,
Speaker 4: light skinning the seventies in the DMV, living in the Potomac.
Speaker 4: She moved to Baltimore for him. I don't get that, Like,
Speaker 4: you know what I mean to be.
Speaker 2: A pastor's wife, I'm just scrutiny and I wouldn't do that.
Speaker 1: And today I still I'm like, damn, a lot of
Speaker 1: you women just keep marrying that man.
Speaker 2: That's so crazy.
Speaker 1: You're having babies and wives and babies.
Speaker 2: Yes. Crazy.
Speaker 4: Every time I see him, the first thing that come
Speaker 4: into my mind is Monique past the holy hoole.
Speaker 1: I'm I actually I was so glad to have her
Speaker 1: back right now. I had a great time time back
Speaker 1: to her sister. Locks are beautiful and them triangles are triangling.
Speaker 2: She funny as hell. I wouldn't give me a geometry lesson.
Speaker 1: Yes, what kind of triangle is a bitch? I sauceles,
Speaker 1: what kind of angles is?
Speaker 4: It?
Speaker 2: Isn't? An Okay, listen you, I teach third grade math.
Speaker 2: We are doing geometry right now, that's right.
Speaker 1: I prepare because let me ask y'all, this is the
Speaker 1: kind of setup in your professional like, think about in
Speaker 1: your professional life, in y'all's professional jobs, what sense does
Speaker 1: it make if the curriculum that is set by the
Speaker 1: district that I have, the curriculum is made by them.
Speaker 1: The test this quote unquote state testing, the big test
Speaker 1: is scheduled by them, but yet the things that are
Speaker 1: on the test are not scheduled on the curriculum to
Speaker 1: be taught until after the test.
Speaker 5: Hm?
Speaker 2: Was it is?
Speaker 5: It?
Speaker 4: Is they trying to just test your knowledge and see
Speaker 4: what the gaps are? First?
Speaker 1: No, because it's the end of the year tests, you know,
Speaker 1: is the end of the year big tests. And yet
Speaker 1: geometry is scheduled to be taught in June, but it
Speaker 1: is about fifteen percent of their giant math test that
Speaker 1: they take in May. I imagine that kind of set
Speaker 1: up in.
Speaker 2: Y'all's professional life.
Speaker 1: Imagine that kind of set up and their success on it.
Speaker 1: Their success on their test is my performance score. Our
Speaker 1: performance scores have nothing to do with anything else, almost
Speaker 1: other than how that classroom looks in this structure, and
Speaker 1: how although they have had years where my classroom was.
Speaker 1: I got all my marks on it being great, like
Speaker 1: it means like you can't even have the date wrong,
Speaker 1: my love. Okay, it needs to be one hundred percent
Speaker 1: ready for any kid to be able to learn from
Speaker 1: any corner of the room every single time, the moment
Speaker 1: you start school to the moment you end school. And
Speaker 1: if they come in and it's not like that, ding
Speaker 1: ding ding is giving a tick. But I still got
Speaker 1: all my marks for that. My goal was eighty five
Speaker 1: percent of my kids were going to get a certain
Speaker 1: score on their Math State test or higher eighty five percent.
Speaker 1: I got eighty four point six seven percent. How when
Speaker 1: these are whole human beings.
Speaker 2: I don't know.
Speaker 1: This is what the math calculator came up with on
Speaker 1: my professional evaluation. And do you know that means that
Speaker 1: I am no longer in the running to be to
Speaker 1: get there's satisfactory, there's not meeting standers like not satisfactory,
Speaker 1: there's effective and highly effective. I'm out of the running
Speaker 1: for highly effective because I got eighty four point sixty seven.
Speaker 2: But that doesn't mean that you're not highly effective. And honestly,
Speaker 2: it's just because one kid decided.
Speaker 1: Parents are so mad that he did not do great
Speaker 1: on it, that they even opted out of in protest.
Speaker 2: They opted out of him retaking it.
Speaker 1: Wow, made sense to me, I said, what those she
Speaker 1: wanted to show that he knows, didn't you say it
Speaker 1: was because he was nervous and traveling the night before.
Speaker 2: Maybe we give him another shot?
Speaker 1: No?
Speaker 2: And they're like, no, if you okay, because if you
Speaker 2: did pass.
Speaker 1: It, if you took it again and passed it, I
Speaker 1: would probably give my eighty five percent.
Speaker 2: I'm just saying it, but it's it's it's okay.
Speaker 3: I'm just effective money.
Speaker 1: Anyway, thank you, because if he hadn't been traveling, he
Speaker 1: would have done great.
Speaker 2: But that's just me. What do I know?
Speaker 1: I hate coming to school one time and not being
Speaker 1: sleepy as hell from a plane trip the night before.
Speaker 1: I take a big ass test. There's three hours and
Speaker 1: fifty five questions and I'm nine.
Speaker 2: Wow, the pressure you make me nervous for them or
Speaker 2: me like and all them pass.
Speaker 1: And sometimes I gotta coach babies to come out the bathroom.
Speaker 1: They be hotting in there. They're just like, miss man,
Speaker 1: can I go to the bathroom?
Speaker 2: Yes? And I go.
Speaker 1: You have to go or you need a break, and
Speaker 1: they're like.
Speaker 4: Going into second grade in kindergarten next year, so you're
Speaker 4: making me nervous of what's to come.
Speaker 1: Good news is usually people don't start getting testing them
Speaker 1: until third grade.
Speaker 2: Third grade is usually when the tests start happening, and
Speaker 2: you know.
Speaker 3: Not travel the night before, please.
Speaker 2: Don't like you.
Speaker 1: Just give them a good night's rest and and a
Speaker 1: nice breakfast in the morning and they'll feel so fine.
Speaker 1: Kids get so discombobulated when their routines are upside because
Speaker 1: they understand school routines almost never change life routines around
Speaker 1: them do, but then affect their day at school because
Speaker 1: they're like, I'm ready, I didn't have my things, I
Speaker 1: didn't have my things, I didn't do it. Like they
Speaker 1: can't regulate. So if you want them to do well,
Speaker 1: maybe you know, when we tell you there's a test,
Speaker 1: maybe make sure that they feel like they can do it,
Speaker 1: like they're at least not so sleepy they're gonna like
Speaker 1: pass out.
Speaker 2: You know, I have a nice breakfet we're gonna know
Speaker 2: our little orange. Who am I not a parent?
Speaker 1: Hashtag like hashtag not a mother, So let me not
Speaker 1: tell people at a parent But that's just me. I've
Speaker 1: only seen it work for about I don't know at
Speaker 1: this point two hundred.
Speaker 2: Three hundred and third graders what as like.
Speaker 1: But no, I just actually just saw somebody say on
Speaker 1: Reddit that doctor heavenly talked to her constituents.
Speaker 2: So when she talked to her kids, I mean, are
Speaker 2: we shocked? Where's the lie? Oh? Are we shocked?
Speaker 4: I do she's gonna get I do have two questions
Speaker 4: for you. I'm married to Medicine. What did your gut
Speaker 4: tell you? When Curtis was said to be in Canada golfing,
Speaker 4: I think they.
Speaker 2: Have an agreement? I do, I do? I do? Yeah,
Speaker 2: I mean I think they have pictures.
Speaker 4: He said he was in the first place and he
Speaker 4: had to leave, and you know, I was like, oh,
Speaker 4: please don't let.
Speaker 1: My especially woman that they don't watch a lot of
Speaker 1: Married to Medicine, maybe.
Speaker 2: Because he got caught up in Atlanta.
Speaker 1: Last time years ago at an Atlanta restaurant, acting like
Speaker 1: the girlies of Atlanta don't watch Married to Medicine, which
Speaker 1: is also filmed in Atlanta.
Speaker 2: I'm not a little bit shot. I ain't gonna lie.
Speaker 2: See your money.
Speaker 4: I was like, please don't let him show up on
Speaker 4: the blogs with another woman in the airport. Please let
Speaker 4: it really be golfing. I mean he had the little
Speaker 4: pictures of him out there.
Speaker 2: The pictures she said, mm mmm.
Speaker 3: Yeah, he said he was in first place.
Speaker 2: Time.
Speaker 4: I was like, I got a little shook. I'm hoping
Speaker 4: that's what it is, and don't nothing else come from it?
Speaker 4: And then also, what is I'm wondering if this will
Speaker 4: grow legs into a storyline, but doctor Jackie debuting out
Speaker 4: of nowhere a scrub line when we have Angel on
Speaker 4: here with a a well known successful scrub line out
Speaker 4: of nowhere. It was given three with candle to me,
Speaker 4: and I was wondering if it would grow legs.
Speaker 1: Doctor Jacquie is petty as hell. She I okay, sneaky
Speaker 1: petty too, sneaky.
Speaker 2: Petty, very sneaky petty.
Speaker 1: And the thing is is because her foil is that
Speaker 1: what you would expect is doctor Simone, who is loudly petty.
Speaker 2: You know, she's she wanted to know, she being petty
Speaker 2: to her.
Speaker 1: Husband, to her kids, to herself, to her daddy, to
Speaker 1: her mama, to or anybody. Let you know, doctor Jackie
Speaker 1: hides it so well.
Speaker 2: Actually, And then you're like, was that?
Speaker 1: And I think it does bow down to I think
Speaker 1: her and her husband either have an agreement or they
Speaker 1: have issues. They really do. And she makes so many
Speaker 1: excuses that she's so miserable a little bit. And I
Speaker 1: like her, I do. I like doctor Jackie. I just
Speaker 1: don't like her miserable because the projection is tea like,
Speaker 1: it's it's a lie and the petty goes crazy. I
Speaker 1: don't know if we're at like dangerous petty yet, Like
Speaker 1: we ain't doing nothing crazy, but a scrub line is.
Speaker 1: It's kind of wild. But it's not beyond doctor Jackie
Speaker 1: to do such a thing that would make that. I'm like,
Speaker 1: I said, I see that.
Speaker 2: I I said, well, wasn't you just selling sunscreen for
Speaker 2: black women? How did we get here?
Speaker 1: Serums too? Yeah, she's crazy. Serum that she had. She
Speaker 1: sent me a box. It was great, we.
Speaker 2: Really loved it. Sell that. I'm sorry, how did we
Speaker 2: get here? I don't know. I don't know either, because
Speaker 2: that's her slat.
Speaker 4: And I'm gonna be honest. Her scrub line with the
Speaker 4: collar it was given priest caller. I'm gonna be honest,
Speaker 4: And it doesn't give you can go day to night
Speaker 4: and put hills on with it, because who's doing that anyway,
Speaker 4: Who's leavings and being scrubs and medical and germs all
Speaker 4: day to put on some hills and go I don't know.
Speaker 4: And then the commercial that she made, she just dropped
Speaker 4: it on Instagram the other day and I literally sent
Speaker 4: it to Ken.
Speaker 3: I was like, boo, tomato, tomato.
Speaker 4: I like Angel's line, and I get its room for everybody,
Speaker 4: you know, everybody can make money.
Speaker 3: It was just so left filled.
Speaker 4: It's not something she was developing on the show or
Speaker 4: talk to us about, or we saw the you know,
Speaker 4: the creation of it, the thought process behind it.
Speaker 2: It was just we're doing a commercial. I don't know.
Speaker 2: I don't know.
Speaker 3: This was a little strange to me.
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, yeah, it's a little strange. It's a little strange. Yeah.
Speaker 2: I I think.
Speaker 1: That her and hurt it. She wants to be on
Speaker 1: this show bad, bad, Like doctor Jackie loves being on
Speaker 1: this show, and we love her being on it. I
Speaker 1: think the show loves her right back, especially because she
Speaker 1: really does do like the you think she's like the narrator,
Speaker 1: the come to Jesus one, the one who says she
Speaker 1: talks especially like it sometimes like she really has it
Speaker 1: together and she is trying to progress us forward. And
Speaker 1: when she used to hold some fitness fun days and
Speaker 1: whatnot and be like we're gonna do it, We're gonna
Speaker 1: be healthy, what really was just fat phobia.
Speaker 5: Like like disguise as like let's like I want everybody
Speaker 5: to be healthy, but like your attentions were really petty,
Speaker 5: Like the way you were talking was petty.
Speaker 2: You just said it with a very positive disposition.
Speaker 4: And I feel like that's why she is so close
Speaker 4: to Heavenly or she sticks up for her because Heavenly
Speaker 4: knows the secrets and Heavenly knows the doctor Jackie that
Speaker 4: she doesn't show us, and she she kind of told
Speaker 4: a little bit of that, like when she told Toya, Yeah,
Speaker 4: she think you I do a good job. And so
Speaker 4: I feel like Heavenly knows way more than we get
Speaker 4: to see. And that's why she tries to keep Heavenly contained.
Speaker 4: That's why she tries to, like you know, always boast
Speaker 4: up their friendship. It's it's definitely aside to her that
Speaker 4: we don't she doesn't show us and that she doesn't
Speaker 4: want to project on the show.
Speaker 2: But it's absolutely it's definitely no, it's there Oh, it's there.
Speaker 2: She has a persona that we get to see on
Speaker 2: the show and what we see.
Speaker 1: I like her performance as performance is consistent with that
Speaker 1: of what we see. I do see little peaks though,
Speaker 1: of intention and things changing and peeking out and letting
Speaker 1: us know you got a different side to you. There's
Speaker 1: a lot more edge. It's spice up in there, doctor Jaggie.
Speaker 1: It's not all about being clean and you know, women
Speaker 1: supporting women and doing the right thing and all of that.
Speaker 1: She she likes to get down and there with the
Speaker 1: rest of us, and for that, I'm grateful. What do
Speaker 1: you think about, doctor Contessa. That's that's what I got
Speaker 1: for you. That's my last question for you, doctor Contessa.
Speaker 1: What's what's Contessa cone Tesla.
Speaker 2: I think she's cool on the show.
Speaker 4: She's definitely in this season trying to be the glue
Speaker 4: of Atlanta where she kind of brings the girls together.
Speaker 4: She's not beefing with Heavenly.
Speaker 2: I think she's cool.
Speaker 4: I like her on the show. Now, her her wardrobe
Speaker 4: choices make me scratch my head. Almost she is.
Speaker 1: Then it's bad, it's really unacceptable.
Speaker 3: It's really bad, you know.
Speaker 4: And she started off the season talking too much about
Speaker 4: her marriage again, and we see her kind of we
Speaker 4: haven't seen that much, but like, but when she had
Speaker 4: a party and talking about how he you know, he
Speaker 4: didn't help with it and all of that, It's like, see,
Speaker 4: this is how you got in this boat. Last time
Speaker 4: you talked too much about your marriage pull back. We
Speaker 4: haven't seen that too much in the latest episodes. But
Speaker 4: her sleep in that theater had me cracking up and
Speaker 4: then waking up and saying, I loved it and I
Speaker 4: love you.
Speaker 2: It was.
Speaker 3: Definitely trying to give glue of Atlanta.
Speaker 4: And I think she's like the mutual party this season
Speaker 4: and I'm cool with her. I love this cast. I
Speaker 4: feel like the newbies are showing up. They're Clopton, you know,
Speaker 4: they've been beefing with each other. Yeah, me, me, I
Speaker 4: go back and forth. Love the story of her family
Speaker 4: and her son and the struggles and her being transparent.
Speaker 4: Too much on Toya, not too much on my.
Speaker 2: Girl me me. Yeah, yeah, you get it. You gotta
Speaker 2: be for her. You don't like the way she rolled, but.
Speaker 1: I'll hold you. I'll let you hold space. But I
Speaker 1: like Toy so too much on my girl. Yeah, and
Speaker 1: she's been here I know her. Yeah, and that's not
Speaker 1: too much on Eugenie's wife. How about that, right, not
Speaker 1: too much on Eugene's wife. Okay, y'all love me from Eugene.
Speaker 1: That's why I love.
Speaker 4: Because it was given you. Like, if you're so mad
Speaker 4: that Toya's hosting the trip, then don't go.
Speaker 2: But we're going. Oh yeah, I'm gonna go on the trip.
Speaker 2: I'm go.
Speaker 4: We're going because we Yeah, we're going.
Speaker 3: And and I was glad.
Speaker 2: I love Toya and Eugene. Not too much on Eugene's wife.
Speaker 2: That's a good woman.
Speaker 3: And yeah, in the show, they're transparent. They're real.
Speaker 2: They're not they're not faking like the Marriagers perfect all
Speaker 2: the time. Nope. Yeah, they're not even saying they got
Speaker 2: money all the time.
Speaker 1: They've been the most real about their life on almost
Speaker 1: across the board. I know they owe two hundred plus
Speaker 1: thousand dollars in taxes. I also they were able to
Speaker 1: buy a house after they were renting a house, and
Speaker 1: they rented a house it was too big and couldn't afford.
Speaker 1: Then they bought a house it was too big, couldn't afford.
Speaker 1: Then it downsides and they upsides and it downside, I
Speaker 1: think they're so real and relatable. I love them deeply
Speaker 1: down because if you could do that making all the
Speaker 1: money you have, it actually just feels even more relatable
Speaker 1: to me, Like you make choices and your living life
Speaker 1: and trying to figure it out, and you have bad this,
Speaker 1: that or whatever. You're not pretending to be anything else
Speaker 1: other than who y'all are, and I really respect that.
Speaker 1: Don't play Doctor Eugene's wife like that, please ever again, so.
Speaker 3: Not too much on my girl, doctor me and me.
Speaker 2: You cool? You know.
Speaker 4: I love the whole cast as a whole. There's no
Speaker 4: one that I don't feel. I even love Brandy. I
Speaker 4: love what she's bringing to the table. I love her positivity.
Speaker 4: But she'd be like, but don't play.
Speaker 2: With me on my hud. I'm enjoying at all. I
Speaker 2: really am.
Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, I always say I love Married to Medicine
Speaker 1: because when they were one of the first shows that
Speaker 1: was an ensemble k ed cast, they cast both the
Speaker 1: husbands and the wives the same because the Married to
Speaker 1: Medicine focus of the women varied back and forth between
Speaker 1: whether being the doctor or being married to the doctor,
Speaker 1: and so having that you have to have their spouses
Speaker 1: on almost equally as much. And it really works in
Speaker 1: this format with this show and Enlightening struck with this one,
Speaker 1: and it keeps going. It's really been a formula that
Speaker 1: a lot of shows have been able to follow, not
Speaker 1: all successfully, but I mean, it's been Married to Medicine
Speaker 1: like that. They were the first time I've ever seen,
Speaker 1: especially on Bravo, couples casted on a show together.
Speaker 4: And it weren't And where the men get their own
Speaker 4: camera time as much as they just we're invested in
Speaker 4: their beefs.
Speaker 3: It gets us time.
Speaker 4: The next episode is about to get crazy with doctor
Speaker 4: Damon and Eugene again, you know, Like I love.
Speaker 2: Love when they all go on them trips.
Speaker 1: I really do, because when the men clock in or
Speaker 1: I like to see when the women clock in and
Speaker 1: how much they let them talk or to be loved
Speaker 1: but not too much on my like, I love it.
Speaker 2: I love Married to Medicine.
Speaker 4: Y'all.
Speaker 1: It's a really good season this year. I mean, it's
Speaker 1: usually been a good season. If you aren't watching, people
Speaker 1: often ask do I just start from the beginning.
Speaker 2: Yes, it's fun. You're gonna have a freaking blast.
Speaker 1: Ah. There's twelve seasons, I know, and you're gonna have
Speaker 1: a freaking blast. People have done it for vander Pump
Speaker 1: rules and had less fun.
Speaker 4: Yeah, you cannot miss Mariah's swatt and Toyo across the
Speaker 4: head with a pocketbook canno cannot You must go back
Speaker 4: and not you must go back.
Speaker 2: Oh my god, I'm gonna quiet them dogs, Oh my god,
Speaker 2: just so much. Let her dogs love line. Yes, that
Speaker 2: clothing line that she had a party for.
Speaker 1: And then that game man came out of nowhere and
Speaker 1: was like, let me tell you something about mariyahs No, doctor.
Speaker 2: Lisa's hus Oh my god, Lisa and the pole, Oh my.
Speaker 1: God, remember that was Go back and watch. It is
Speaker 1: so good you will not regret it. Marriage and medicine
Speaker 1: and virus from all cylinders all the time. Then people
Speaker 1: got great personalities and married other people who match their energy.
Speaker 2: These are couples that do with the exception.
Speaker 1: Of quadd and King you know you'll see as you watch,
Speaker 1: But the rest of them, the married couples, why they're
Speaker 1: married makes sense.
Speaker 2: Meeting them married helps and.
Speaker 1: So then watching the dynamics of their marriage and their
Speaker 1: marriages amongst the other marriages.
Speaker 2: The top tier, Yeah, it's it's clear.
Speaker 1: It's some of the best television because what do you
Speaker 1: mean you and your husband are petty together?
Speaker 2: I love it, Yes, I love.
Speaker 1: That, absolutely love it. No before you know, seriously a
Speaker 1: couple of goals. If I had to be straight out
Speaker 1: of the toy and eugen I always say that, Yeah.
Speaker 2: Literally my favorite. That's who story Clauset had me.
Speaker 1: Whether they could afford it or not, the fact that
Speaker 1: he let her do it good man to her husband,
Speaker 1: he loved her.
Speaker 2: Man, Savannah, it's a good man, Savannah.
Speaker 1: Remember he was working autumn hours, so that did can't
Speaker 1: get out of debt. He didn't have to get a job.
Speaker 1: I mean, yes, to show us her job. But he
Speaker 1: was like, nah, man, I'm just tired of hell. I'll
Speaker 1: be on the couch. And she was like, we not
Speaker 1: having sex?
Speaker 2: He was, I'm.
Speaker 4: And then we're gonna get out of debt, and then
Speaker 4: we're gonna throw a party at and spend more money.
